It’s taken me months to write this review. I’ve been so traumatised by my experience with Linley and Simpson, Ilkley branch and I will NEVER rent with them again.
They’re a bunch of entitled children who all need specialist training in client communications and just basic decency. Especially Ami Woods who made sure even my final moments of exiting the property were equally as horrendous as the rest of my time spent dealing with them. Cheers Ami. I’m not sure where your aggression comes from, but seek help.
I was treated appallingly from start to finish. Upping my rent ridiculous amounts (and then when I decided to leave, put the property on the rental market for LESS than they were trying to charge me, a long standing tenant)
They illegally entered my property without my permission and one time I came home to find a man in my house doing a gas check and was terrified. I thought I was being robbed.
They left me without heating and hot water for 10 days and I practically had to beg for a reduced rent that month. It could have been fixed much sooner, but I was waiting on a plumber who was on holiday to come back home!! Meanwhile I was having to drive my children to the other side of Leeds and back to my mother’s house so they could get a hot shower.
I’m yet to meet a fellow tenant who has positive things to say about L&S.
They deserve to be shut down. Or at the very least, treated with the same non existent respect they show others. I hate you all.

Make sure you never rent
Make sure you never rent with this bureaucratic shambles of a corporate entity. Dealing with problems in the house will be difficult as their contractors are inept. The staff cannot communicate as they are likely on minimum wages and simply care about their lives (as they should). Do not rent with companies like this, landlords are terrible but at least you can speak with an individual rather than a corporate entity. Never again!
