I bought a dress for an event I was going to. Tried the dress on when it arrived and all was fine. It was slightly low cut but thought I would put a small stitch in the front to stop the ladies being too on show. I was staying at a hotel the night of the event and decided to get ready there. When I put the dress on for the evening the zip broke at the bottom. As I was nowhere near my house I had no choice other than to wear the dress and safety pin the back. This was very embarrassing at a black tie event but there was nothing I could do. After the event I sent the dress back and told them what had happened. However, they have refused a refund as the dress has some marks on it (due to being worn for the night) which are absolutely nothing to do with the fault. I would have had it cleaned before I sent it back for the faulty test had I known that was going to be an issue but I didn’t want them to say the fault had happened during cleaning! I will NEVER buy from this company again. Terrible customer service and attitude towards their customers and at £85 for a dress I expect better.

Ordered a dress for my wife express delivery. After 3 days still not shipped and a few emails sent to enquire why it has not been sent no one bothers to reply to emails
Dreadful service, as cannot cancel now as dress will arrive to late. Dread to think how they handle refunds
Your reply of 2 days late is in accurate as someone called Harry said that they were expecting further dresses but not till next week. Sometimes honesty is better than making excuses

I would have given NO STAR if I could.
Bought two dresses. The quality was awful and nothing like on the website. I have sent the items back within hours of receiving them with return label provided by Littleblackdress! items were returned in original packaging with all original labels!! Littleblackdress written to say that one dress was returned without a security ribbon!! it was completely untrue and I refused to accept the return. When I disputed their dishonesty they say the dress was damaged with of course was complete lie. I do hope that they will not be able to continue to trade much longer. I have written and raise complaint with my bank and to fair trading.

Sent items back through royal mail a month ago. Have not received my refund as yet. Have never used this site before, and will not use again

Bought from this company before, if I'm going anywhere this is now my go to, such great choice, top notch clothes and absolutely excellent service. Wanted an outfit for my trip to see Wicked at the theatre with friends, bought a beautiful green sequin shirt ( I already have the gold one) so versatile, dress up, dress down,it's perfect, arrived quickly and I'm thrilled with it. I can't recommend LBD highly enough

Absolutely horrible customer service!

I have the email from Royal mail that LBD received my return on 08.11.2024, a dress that said XS and it was actually more like an M size. I sent it back immediately. Today 04.12.2024 no one is answering my emails, I have received no refund. I am being completely ignored.
They said I need to wait 14 working days, I did! It has been 19 days and no one is answering! How can someone be so unprofessional and greedy? Why would people buy from this site if you’re not trustworthy?
Never ever buying again from this site!
I do not recommend it to anyone!

After several emails, messages on your site and after I posted this review you answered to me. Very nice, thank you, I am glad I count as well.

Everything else I have said I can prove through screenshots. I have every email, when I sent and when I received. My feedback is based on exactly what happened, on facts. I have no reason to write a bad review if my first experience and last with this site would have not been so awful.

Update: received my refund after exactly 1 month. Please do not contact me ever again telling me that my feedback is unfair! I exposed the facts. If you don’t want people to give feedbacks of complaint I would suggest to work on your customer service. Blaming the customer is not the right attitude in my humble opinion. And I will not take off my review, I am not letting myself intimidated by your email for telling the truth.

Do not buy from this company unless you are sure of your size etc.
Returned my dress over 3 weeks ago my royal mail tracker says they received on the 4th November I have emailed 3 times and no response cant under stand why this takes so long to send money back unless they try to ignore the fact they have received the goods and hope it will get forgotten.
I left my email address as well but no responce

Excellent customer service and beautiful dresses! LBD were so helpful in getting the right dress to me on time for a big event. Good communication and arrived really quickly. Sizing came up quite small on me (if you are considering between sizes). Lovely selection of colours and styles. Thank you so much LBD, I will be back again soon!

Gutted to write this as I really like the dresses but won’t use again. I returned a dress 28.08.2024 which I can see was received 29.08.2024. I have queried with the relevant email to ask when I will receive my refund and received no response. I have tried again and received an email back saying ‘550: Sorry, we do not accept connections from you’. I am hoping this is because I am out of the country and not because I am blocked. I won’t give up trying as £80 isn’t a small amount to lose.

My husband bought 10 dress for our summer holiday and paid for the express delivery they took 3 weeks to arrive in total with the express delivery half of them were still to follow and we were not told half arrived damaged but he actually had a hole in it to which little black dress never replied to and the others had snags in them. The quality was poor on most dresses and how one size fits all is beyond me. I’m a size 12 and they drowned me the pictures have obviously been edited and altered to fit the models who are clearly size 8.
Returned some of the dresses and have waited over 3 weeks for a refund still waiting for some of the money back. Absolutely awful customer services and poor quality goods

I ordered 2 dresses for a wedding of a dear friend and they have not arrived. The hen party is this Saturday and wedding soon after due to serious health issues. This was ordered on 28/7/24 with a window of 2-7 days. I thought I had plenty of time (£130) so not exactly cheap !
I am now faced with having to buy 2 more dresses as they are not responding with any update. This is no way to run a business.
Please provide an update or refund me in full. I am fed up with rogue websites.
(Order 28/7/24 to G66,UK) I am not giving you the order no as you can check the 3 emails which have been sent.
UPDATE- Gayle in CS has been in touch, dresses were out of stock so they have offered alternatives which they sent next day delivery. My emails went to spam. All resolved thanks for your swift assistance.
UPDATE 2 - like everyone else on here still no refund and they got the dresses back by return on 22/8/24. I have to say this has to be one of the worst customer care issues I’ve ever encountered ! Despite replying direct to them they just don’t answer . I guess it’s ‘gone to SPAM again’ .
Response - thank you for processing the refund and replying via Trustpilot. I don’t understand why you did not respond to my email sent to customer services. You need to reply to customers when they ask for updates. I don’t think that is unreasonable. You do seem to spend more time on Trust pilot than our your customer care emails. And for the record - you only offered to send me replacement items after I said on here that I hadn’t received them. Again you should have contacted me when I placed the order but most certainly within a couple of days, which you did not. It took a 1 star review for you to reply .

My £150 "dress of the season" arrived quickly so i was hopeful. However, it had a rusted and tarnished metal belt and was tiny (I'm only a 12, it fit my little teenage daughter).

The material was shoddy and now I have a wedding at the weekend and no dress. Although delivered yesterday and containing return slip, I cannot create a return as the order is sitting as in transit.

I have emailed and now sent a message on their site. No answer yet, and no customer care number that is in use.

I was so excited about this dress.... the least they could do is allow me to get my money back efficiently.

Really disappointed.

Returned the dresses around 20th June. Today Klarna have contacted me as Little Black Dress have not processed my return and so they say monies are owed. I returned this weeks ago with their returns label.

I had to write a review as we only ever complain and never take the time to praise.
My daughter ordered a prom dress in 2 sizes, they arrived within 2 days but in a wrong colour BUT by surprise another dress the correct colour and fitted her perfectly also arrived. I telephoned Customer Services and spoke to the lovely Mark to say we reviewed 3 dresses for the price of 3! Honesty I know lol! Karma and all that!!! They had sent the 2 dresses (slightly different colour) just in case we liked them and then sent the last available on in the colour we ordered. Sent the 2 unneeded dresses with my refund promptly.

Anyway my daughter looked beautiful and the dress needed no alterations at all. Great service from Mark thank you.

Got a stunning dress for my daughters prom. Brilliant customer service and the quality and excellent packaging was the cherry on top. Ignore the few bad reviews!! This company we will 100% use again for our military ball dresses 💗

I had an event and LBD delivered on time and with lots of options for me. The quality of clothes is great and the customer service amazing. I received regular updates from the company at all times too. A refund for the dresses not needed was done swiftly after the return. I would highly recommend Little Black Dress!
