Absolutely delighted. All 50 locusts arrived alive and well and looking particularly juicy! Our bearded dragon was equally delighted.
Excellent quick service and they answer emails within an hour!!!!! which is pretty phenomenal at the moment.
Had been buying locally and it was very hit and miss with quality and quantity - half we’re usually dead and I had an hour round trip to be told - “Oh they’re not on the order today”
I will definitely be buying on a regular basis and would nightly recommend.

Highly recommend Livefood UK a brilliant service, I have ordered from here sporadically over the last few years but more so during the pandemic. Every order has been spot on with all insects alive and healthy, I bought a springtail culture to add to a bioactive terrarium in April which is also brilliantly thriving. There was a small mistake with one order which was rectified so quickly the next morning I really cannot fault their customer service, thank you and keep up the great work with keeping our pets fed.

Switched back to this company after not using them for years.

During the last few months I have had multiple orders with items missing which require me each time to contact them and get them to send the missing items.

This last order is the last straw. They claimed to send out my order last Thursday however I never received a tracking email. I queried this and they provided a tracking number. However that tracking number when checked on the royal mail site claimed royal mail had never received the package.

So after advising the order still hadn't arrived they advised they would send a replacement which I agreed to however they didn't send it out that day and sent me an email the following day claiming to have a "powercut" which prevented them from shipping.

They did eventually advise they sent out the order which they said would arrive today but once again I have received nothing!

I have asked for a refund and tried phoning them as I have now ordered elsewhere but I have had with no answer.

The only redeeming factor is the quality of the live food is good, shame the service is so dreadful.

*UPDATE* order did arrive in the end. received a sarcastic and unprofessional response from them I assume in response to the bad feedback. They were augmentative and defensive when I mentioned I found it suspicious they used the same royal mail tracking number for the replacement order. They ignored my request for a refund and to return and cancel the order. I will never use this company again.

Recommended by my vet nurse, my bearded dragon has been sick and I was desperate to find a Dubia supplier for him where they don’t all arrive dead . Ordered Saturday , arrived Tuesday- but no Dubias and no explanation . On emailing- still no explanation but was told a replacement would be dispatched yesterday . Mail has already been - no roaches . I clearly need to keep looking for a reliable live food supplier with good communication. I can only hope I get a refund, very annoying considering the dubias were the main reason for ordering .

So the replacement order arrived with one pot of 12 instead of two. So I paid £6.50 for 12 roaches and your email states my trustpilot review is harsh - yet I’m let down again . I would love to recommend you and feel confident to order again if things are rectified .

Have been using LiveFood UK for over a year now and highly recommend them! My last order I placed early morning on Tuesday and within two hours they were hand delivered to my door! Privileged to live in the same county. No dead on arrivals. Excellent quality and service.

Usually buy crickets from a local pet shop but it was a pain having to buy the little tubs all the time as my monitor doesn't waste time chomping through them but found this company who sell bulk bags and after reading a few reviews thought I'd order. Order arrived after 1 day which is phenomenal for the money and I literally did not find a single dead cricket (out of about 600) which again is phenomenal as I'm so used to having at least half a dozen dead usually more when purchasing elsewhere. Couldn't rate this company any better as service and goods are flawless. Will definitely be a regular customer keep it up :)

Been using Livefood UK for a couple of years with great service every time, shipping and delivery of orders is always fast and there is never any issues of items that I need being out of stock.
Would never go anywhere else for my orders!

I have been using this company for a long time and the quality of the live food is brilliant but some of the locusts be dead in the boxes. Other than that everything is positive.

Excellent- first time I've tried Live Food UK, and their delivery was super speedy and when I made a mistake with my order, they gave me extra, and didn't charge me for it! I can't fault them! thank you so much!

Compared with other providers (looking at you, Pet Spectrum) Livefood are still providing next day delivery. Live mealworms are the best quality I've seen - cannot fault this service.

An outstanding service, outstanding product.
Quality wax moth larvae. Everyone alive and not a single pupae impressive since I bought 5 x 75g. That’s about 1300 individuals.
Incredible value for money you will not match anywhere and I’ve seen every deal there is out there. I just saved myself about £20 using this company which means I can extend my collection and feed optimally without first worrying about cost.
Turn around from on line order to receiving the product was less than two day at standard rates. Beat that.
These people dealt with my order immediately, they didn’t sit on it. Indicative of a slick and highly efficient professional team.
At this price I can afford to extend my amphibian collection. I can rely on a customer oriented company supplying me with quality live food giving me confidence in my husbandry of my animals.
Absolutely will use again and recommend highly.

What an excellent company I've used swell for years and with what's going on at the minute their stock was low online so I tried livefoods uk and wow I wont be going back to swell for my livefood fast delivery and superb quality the locusts and crickets were so healthy and lots of them way more in the tubs than swell give you I would highly recommend livefoods uk to anyone needing livefood for their inverts and lizards nice to find a truly amazing company that supplies high quality and plentiful amounts for such an amazing price

Ordered 3 times now and each time paid for next day delivery and my orders have never turned up next day always takes 3 days at least terrible service

I was expecting the items to be totally frozen as suggested on the web site. My order of 10 mice and 3 hamsters arrived in an aweful condition. They had all defrosted and were all mushy. Most of the mice also had blooded noses. Thrown the whole lot away

I'm so glad I found this website, and I haven't looked back since.

The mealworms are always of great quality, and arrive with no black in them whatsoever.

The locusts are always spritely and last a lot longer than those bought in any pet store I've used, and maybe I'm anthropomorphising my Leopard Gecko a little here but he seems to enjoy them more!

One of my Royal Pythons can be a fussy little noodle, and she never refuses the rats I get from here - even the brown ones which she previously wouldn't go anywhere near from other places.

The customer service is also friendly, efficient and really high quality.

I've used these guy's since around 2011 and was my main food source for my Vittikins Dragon and would say I could barely count the issues I had with my orders on one hand, If I have EVER had an order it has been redeemed ASAP with almost 0 questions even asked - This was AMAZING and meant any issue I did have never interfered with my girl losing out.

Absolutely amazing service and staff when I have been in contact, I would also like to point out the issues I had were mainly down to size which I imagine is quite hard to judge sometimes which obviously I cannot fault them for! We're all human.

I urge and have urged everyone to use this site the ONLY time I have had an issue getting live food is when they had a fire at HQ other than that A* service.

Very happy with my order, although postman did leave outside in the cold,(15mins or so) luckily I spotted the package outside door as gf was leaving for work.. (not yours guys fault i know)
But anywho.. bought packageinside and once opened i was happy to see lots of lively insects, got an extra critter in with me crickets, a spider 😱😂, although i like insects spiders creep me out! Only thing my mind was what type of spider is it? Lol
Anyways made my morning and will definitely be ordering from you guys again. brilliant service,fast delivery, and alot cheaper than retail ☺👍

I missed the post man Saturday so was Fearing the worst when I went to collect on Monday.
When I opened my order I was extremely pleased to see tubs FULL of LIVE insects.
So use to paying double the price for more of the insect food than the insects themselves.
Extremely pleased with my order and will definitely be returning again!
