A really good company to deal with. Not in the habit of buying and selling alot of properties, only our second ever purchase. However, at the quote stage we was sent a prelimary report with some really helpful and useful information (the only company to do this) we had the survey undertaken, prior to the surveyor attending site we was asked if there was anything specific we were concerned about, which is a nice touch. The company arranged a date with the sellers estate agents and everyyhing was seamless. The roof was surveyed with a drone which is also something that no one else offered. A follow up call to discuss the report was included and the surveyor was really helpful. I would 100% reccomend this company, they might not be the cheapest (they aren't far off), but you get quality with the few extra quid you spend. Well worth every penny! I would use them again should I ever have to move!

The process of onboarding was quick and easy, they answered all our questions.

It was quite a long wait for a surveyor, around 3 weeks which might be a sign they're popular, but could have been less.

The survey was detailed and covered everything you'd expect, and came with a complimentary follow up call that we'd not expected which was nice.

The survey did seem to have mistakes like template text and had to be reissued, and the key questions we sent in advance were not addressed at all until we asked and some are still unresolved which for the cost of the survey we'd have thought they could have done.

Overall we'd use them again, and impart we probably didn't need a survey as it's only a 9 year old flat, but as first time buyers it's helped alienate worry about unknowns.

Professional and high quality service. L&K were great at getting the job done. I did ask for two specific things to be looked at in my survey, and these were not looked at, nor acknowledged at all post-survey, which was slightly annoying… however the survey itself was detailed and extremely helpful. Would use this company again.

The service from enquiry/quote to final report was smooth, professional and easy, aided by an easy online portal to track progress. I received a quote quickly via WhatsApp which included a free property research report and intro video.

When I decided to upgrade from a level 2 to level 3 survey, again I received the quote quickly and was sent a link online to pay the difference. The booking process was very easy and everything could be tracked via the portal.

L&K’s prices are reasonable compared to other surveyor quotes I received, and I’m glad I went with this company. They booked my survey directly through my seller’s agent, which took place within a couple of weeks, and I received the report back a day earlier than expected.

The report was incredibly thorough and gave us a good insight into the property’s condition. The follow up call with Samuel Carrasco was really helpful.

I have no complaints whatsoever so would certainly recommend this company.

Great service! I needed a quick survey and the team was able to accommodate with very little notice. The quality of the survey (level 3) was very good and the follow up call allowed us to ask further questions and put to bed most of our worries.
Because we had to do some repairs to the roof, having done drone photos really help with getting a much more accurate cost for the repairs.
It’s worth mentioning the cost which was a very good one given how comprehensive the report was and also in comparison with other competitors on the market.

Excellent experience throughout, from simplicity and speed of booking to scheduling of the survey and follow up afterwards. A very detailed report with many photos including some taken by drone. The follow up call was also very useful. Not the cheapest or most expensive quote that I received, but was good value for money. I would highly recommend using London & Kent Surveyors.

I am happy with my experience from initial enquiry, speaking to a surveyor who took time to look at the property I was purchasing online and comment whether he thought level 2 or 3 would be more suitable. We ended up with level 2, which also came with drone as standard. The report itself was clear to read and lots of photos and commentary. I booked in a 30 minute follow up call afterwards which was helpful to talk through some of the points.

The survey also helped us negotiate some money off the purchase price to go towards some of the work required.

My only slight disappointment was around the £150 extra I paid towards a valuation figure. I was expecting to be told if I was paying fair value, or on the lower or upper end of the scale - whereas it just agreed with the exact price I was paying. None of the sale comparable data was shared, so in hindsight I should have skipped this part as I had done comprehensive research myself already.

Brilliant customer service! Really liked the WhatsApp video introducing the company and the initial free report on the property. The online portal is also great as you can see the progress of the quote.
