I have been an LL Bean customer for decades. Not once have I found their customer service or quality of goods and services to be anything less than excellent!

I will never ever order from LL Bean again. Having to argue with some person who doesn't have a clue what happened was very annoying. They did promise me a refund which they owe me. But what I had to go thru to get it was absurd. Never again!!!

I own 4 white no iron 1 pocket blouses. They serviced me well until in the same month all 4 ripped precisely down the crease in the arms. Friend mending out of desperation and that didn’t work. What can I do?

Reneged on their once iron-clad guarantee for returns. Now even with items bought before their change in policy they hassle you when trying to return. Company deserves to go bankrupt because that's where their morals went.

I used to buy from this company. But from an article just published by the New York Times (on November 30th, 2023 and entitled Disinformation Is One of Climate Summit’s Biggest Challenges) I found out that LL Bean, while selling what they describe as organic clothing, buys ads on websites of climate disinformation. This is shameful, not to mention unethical, and I and my spouse (who would also buy from them) will make sure not to buy anything from them anymore. They probably buy these ads through automated systems, but automated systems are created by people and a company's duty is to know where their money goes. My money will NOT be used again to spread disinformation and yours should not be used to spread disinformation either.

Slippers seemed fine and as ordered. Although my feet size is UK8 the slippers were too small. The cost of returning them from the UK was extortionate.

RE: Repair Dept faux pas - I called to inquire if my husband's LLBEAN leather slippers, the soles could be repaired. Staff stated "YES certainly we can repair just send them to us".
Three weeks post mailing, I received a call from Repair stating, "NO, we cannot repair the soles because the slippers were made in El Salvador... Cheap materials?? SERVICE WHAT YOU SELL! Staff Apologized up and down for this impertinent information not shared with me, lotta good that did. My time and money wasted; $12 for postage, driving to/from Post Office, waiting in line... I purchased LLBEAN items for over 50 years and family before me. P A T H E T I C Sayonara!

These ll bean slippers are great if you are going to replace them every four to six months but if you expect them to last any longer without the insoles coming apart or the stitching coming out then you may want to just go with a big box store like Walmart slippers that you can get 6 pairs for the price of one pair of these ll bean slippers. And don't try and use the warranty to replace them because they will keep giving excuses to why they can't honor the warranty. Take notice that lo Bean changed the warranty from life time to one year on the slippers knowing the slippers don't last but a few short months before coming apart. I have been trying to leave a review for a week now on ll beans web site but wouldn't you know they check all reviews before being excepted, so that's why I'm paying a review here since they keep denying my review

Pat in Women’s Clothing was most helpful in my clothes shopping! She is very knowledgeable about what is available and where to find it.

I have recently lost 50 pounds, and I wasn’t sure what size I am now. Pat helped me for as long as it took! She found me a dressing room and deposited all my selections there for me.

Pat really knows the inventory and was a huge help! She even carried my selections so that I would have hands free!

I wish I had gotten her last name or contact information, as I would love to be sure she is there the next time I come to shop!

I am in France and have been buying LLBean for a few yrs and their products are well worth every cent!

LL Bean has the best quality crisp cotton sheets and flannel sheets! I’ve been ordering them for at least ten years, and the ones I ordered this year are the same great quality as those from years ago. I also love their classic signature leather snow boots with the plaid interior.

I've have never been more happy with everything I've purchased from L.L. Bean. Excellent quality. Worth every penny. I will keep purchasing from this store. ❤

Did not receive my items. They were then returned to LL Bean and am still waiting for a refund.
Will NEVER shop from LL Bean again.
Customer Service could not care less and are very unhelpful.

I purchased a book pack from LL Bean prior to them changing the return policy. The book pack wore out long before it should have and the company refused to fix or replace the item. Buyer beware as they do not honor their policy.

We are visiting Maine from England and found nothing in their Ellsworth store that fitted our regular sizes. So we tried to buy online and found the fastest delivery method on offer takes 6 days ( after we return to England ) and no in store collection is possible either. So I went online and tried their chat line only to be advised by the “virtual assistant” my request isn’t recognised. What type of customer service is this ?

Whats listed on their website is not what they have in store. For example I wanted a kevlar canoe but all thats listed on their site are cheap plastic ones. I ended up buying one from a true local Maine business. Pathetic that a company this big cant manage to list items they sell on their website. Its 2023 not 1990.

As a perennial customer, over the years, I have purchased a large section of my wardrobe from LL Bean... yet, now their cataloge has become a glossy beach-boy or farm girl trope of inferior quality (case in point, nearly all buttons on their men's dress shirts are white, regardless of shirt color... so they can save pennies on this product line). Also, there tacky LOGO is pastered across every other garment in a rediculous advert for LL BEAN. Giving this once great company a two star was an act of nostalgic generosity on my part! HOW SAD1

Horrible company. Takes several days or weeks to receive orders, takes several weeks to receive refunds, they ship items separately which is ridiculous and environmentally irresponsible. Clearly, this company operates like someone's basement store run by inexperienced children.

They have it all when it comes to outdoors!
Online shopping is made very easy. Good return policy
