I called Lockonline with a query after…

I called Lockonline with a query after being impressed with their videos. The woman who answered couldn't help but said she would refer my question to someone who could and they would call back. They never called back, so my £700 order went to Handlestore.

'Express delivery' took a week. Arrived with way too much packaging

I ordered some bins from this company. Despite paying a hefty £8.95 +VAT for express delivery, they took a week to arrive. They were OK and as described but they were double-packed in 2 huge boxes, which seemed excessive. Noit perhaps a company to use if you want something quickly - or if you're concerned about needless recycling of cardboard.

Apologies for the delay in responding to your review. We believed we had responded so please do accept our apologies.

We had been having some issues with the freight courier used to dispatch your items, and whilst we don't want to appear to be passing the buck here, we can only apologise for this, and we understand DX are working to get these issues resolved.

As for the packaging - we do have to double-box a lot of these bin systems as this is the only way we can ensure they are not damaged in transit - we all know couriers are not always the most careful with how they handle the boxes! But in terms of recycling, we actually re-use every box we can to ensure 'true' recycling, rather than doing as most companies do and shredding and sending them off for re-processing back into boxes.

We hope the delays in your delivery do not hinder you from considering purchasing from us again in the future.

Very prompt service. Very strong bracket used on a platform to hold a car door open as a disabled person enters/ exits. Folds away after use. Excellent.
