We are a family run business, based in Halton Lancashire, and we've been selling fuels to homes and restaurants since 2004. Our specialised kiln dries our firewood onsite to under 20% moisture, making it perfect for long, hot burns and cleaner chimneys. It's also better for the environment as it produces less emissions. As FSC members, we are committed to keeping the business as Eco-friendly as possible, so the majority of our wood comes from Britain, though we do also support projects and businesses in Europe (and even South Africa!). You can find oak, ash, beech, birch, and alder being kiln dried on any given day up at the yard, so no matter your preference, we'll be able to help you. Our logs come in various sizes depending on your need, from 20kg carry-bags all the way up to 1.6 cubic meter bulk bags. We even sell the log stores to go with them, alongside a range of fireside accessories like baskets, coalhods, firefighters and kindling. Whether our customers want to cook pizza, heat their homes, fire their BBQs, or light their campfires, we've got something for everyone- even gardening products! Did you know we supply top quality topsoil, compost, and bark to gardens and farms across the country, free of delivery charge to most postcodes?

Disappointing and no refund as yet
EDIT: within minutes of this going live I got a refund but no contact from the company. Have found another company with better customer service who sell the product I need.
Ordered some wood pellets and within a day I had a despatch email but this is where things begin to go wrong. The tracking did not move past 'we've got your parcel' on the tracking site; attempts to contact the courier resulted in no help and error messages so I emailed Logs Direct. A week later I have had no response to this email, not even to acknowledge receipt or that I subsequently called and spoke to someone.
I called up and spoke to someone on 8th April who quickly ascertained the courier had lost the parcel so I was offered a refund or replacement. I opted for the refund but have not yet received anything back to my account. If I have not heard anything by the end of the week I will be opening a dispute with PayPal.
Overall disappointed; I was signposted here by a company who were closing down that I have been a customer of for several years and can't help but feel a little let down.

Driver will place order where you want it (within reason !) First time I've ordered a non-log product and it was so easy. The compost came in a dumpy bag as expected and looked excellent quality - worms included.

Second time I've used Logs Direct. First time I got the wrong product delivered. When contacted they immediately dispatched the correct items and I received these the next day.
On the second order everything was spot on, and again arrived next day, even when ordered later in the day. Great service!
