The sales advisor was very responsive, the payment platform was easy to use, the site survey was completed in our slightly more complicated new door very smoothly and our builder was clear on what he needed to do for the installation team to achieve the new door we were looking to install. The new door was installed on time, the team were very polite, professional and did a great job. We are really pleased with our new door and would recommend the London Door Company to others.

The London Door Company did a first rate job. The sales staff are not pushy and extremely professional and knowledgeable their products. The installation went smoothly. And we are extremely happy with the result.

Super pleased with front door. Ultra strict listed house (2*) and passed planning without touching the sides. Fitters were great - treated the house as their own and got on with the job as I worked from home. All done in a day. Would use again.

Start to finish great service. Booked a visit for their consultant to come round, she had a clever app that they use to show how the options would look on our house. Neighbours and visitors have commented about good it looks, it really completes the building and first impression of our home. The hard bit was deciding what colour to go for but we're really chuffed with the result.

Everyone we met at The London Door Co had expert knowledge and the highest level of professionalism, from our first design consultation to final installation. We didn’t really know where to start when buying a new front door so it was reassuring to have members of the team understand our needs and talk us through the options. Stay away at any cost. I ordered an Akoya bespoke door to fit into the Victoria frame. I have been left with a gap between the frame and door wide enough to see the light from outside and draft to get in for six months—including winter. They keep harassing me with invoices, although the case awaits the Independent Ombudsman inspection. No complaints procedure is in place and is not registered with the Ombudsman. Hence, the only way to negotiate after the deadlock is an independent inspection from fhio.org

Top company with quality products and excellent customer service.

I have always wanted a London Door Company front door and my new front door from the London Door Company is beautiful. I got to design the stained glass panels myself and they are even making extra matching panels to go in my kitchen door. So happy! It feels so safe too.

Luxury Door NOT fit for purpose

Started off well. Great experience in designing. Installation appeared good.
A few months later the door didn't close properly as it was catching at the bottom. Engineer came out and adjusted the door. This has happened a few times since- each time the engineer has come out to adjust....so much so that now the door does not even close securely.

I have spend thousands of pounds on a luxury front door which can be opened by merely pushing it with a finger!!

I expect this review to be noticed by the MD and a plan made to undertake remedial work !

Update. After the above review, supervisor got in contact promptly and a very experienced fitter came and performed some remedial work. He has personally assured us that after these adjustments there will be no further issues. A month down the line and things appear to be ok.

We were looking for a new front door and our whole experience with The London Door Company was brilliant from start to finish. The initial design consultation clearly showed us the options available and allowed us to specify exactly what we wanted. The surveyors and fitters were extremely knowledgable and helpful and ultimately installed a product which we love. I would happily recommend The London Door Company to anyone considering using them.

Reported a fault with my door (fitted 6 months ago by LDC as I wanted the warranty) and somebody came out within a week. The door had dropped and as the weatherboard is fitted very close to an old, quite dented cill it was getting completely stuck. Wouldn't close. Lovely chap called Jamie sorted it on the spot and wrote a report to say if it happens again the weatherboard would need to be replaced. He would have adjusted the board himself but didn't have a spare in the van and was worried if he damaged the board the door would be left weatherboardless. Not great with all the rain. I can't complain about that customer service.

Absolutely terrible. Do not use this company. The standard of workmanship for the price is very poor. We have had numerous issues with poor quality installation which resulted in them offering compensation and eventually after many weeks fixing it. However, in less than a year the frame is now coming apart and we can see light through the gap which has occurred. Not worth the almost £10,000 we paid for this door at all.

They have been efficient and professional throughout. I am very impressed by that, and delighted with my new front door.

Beautifully made, gorgeous doors!

From booking the design visit, through to the site survey and fitting the process was very easy. Amanda patiently went through various style options until we found the one that was right for us. Fitters did a beautiful job and left no mess. We had minor issues with a sticky door lock and internal letterbox cover placement - both sorted very quickly with no issues or quibbles. These doors ARE undoubtedly expensive compared to plastic ones, BUT the quality is amazing! They are really sturdy, beautifully painted, the fixtures are lovely and the stained glass is stunning. Very happy. If you want a lovely door to last a lifetime, they're well worth the investment.

We love our new London Door Company door. It’s one of the best investments we’ve ever made. The quality of the door is brilliant. Everyone we’ve encountered from the company has been amazing, from the initial sales, to surveys to customer service. The team that fitted it were fantastic, incredibly professional and the quality of finish is exceptional. We now have a draft free hallway, with a door that doesn’t get stuck in its frame! The overall look of the door and experience has gone beyond all our expectations and the finished door looks great. I couldn’t recommend the London Door Company enough.

a new front door just over a year ago and paintwork is blistering already. They have declined to repair as not part of their guarantee even though they painted the door in the first instance. Would not recommend or endorse. Stay clear as below par for such an expensive out lay

The door hardware has deteriorated within months and I’m beeing told it’s not covered as part of their long list of guarantees because they used hardware from a 3rd party but won’t tell me who the third party is or respond to any messages. I wish I read all the reviews on google before using them.
