I requested a brochure from this company but never received it. When I followed up to inquire about their doors, I was shocked to learn that they don’t serve my area—despite seeing their vans regularly just 10 minutes away in Dartford, Sidcup, Bexley, and Orpington. It feels like there’s an arbitrary selection process at play, where some areas are catered to and others are ignored, even when we’re practically neighbours. I expected more flexibility and customer care.
Looks like I’ll be going with Banham doors after all!
Generally excellent service and craftmanship from the LDC although you will be paying top end prices. It would have been 5 stars for my wonderful new front door save for two things. The first is the BSEN kite mark in each individual pane of glass. 5 of the 6 are in the same place but number 6 is inverted. First world problems etc. however every time I look at my door I am irritated. The second is that I asked for a quote for my patio doors to be replaced. Having been somewhat surprised at the front door cost, the sales rep obviously assumed I wouldn't be able to afford the patio. He has never bothered to come back to me. Oh well, I have found another company to replace the back patio doors and will enjoy handing over my funds to them.

The original door did look lovely but unfortunately it has now started to leak and ruin our lovely wooden flooring inside. It took 10 days for someone to come and look at it and three weeks later we are still waiting for someone to come and repair the door - while we have to stuff cloths round the front door to prevent damage and hope that it doesn't rain too much while we were out. Last communication they said they could only come out in 7 weeks time - very poor

I’m completely in love with our new door. It’s exactly what I wanted and looks far more stunning in real life. I had heard that the LDC was expensive so I shopped around getting quotes from other companies, but they actually weren’t that much cheaper so we decided to go with a reputable company as the safer option. From start to finish the service was excellent. I couldn’t be happier.

Prompt and polite workmen. Good quality door installed and beautiful leaded windows. We needed to call them back to finish off the paintwork for the surround as it wasn't properly finished. This was done promptly and efficiently. The door is certainly not cheap, but it's a very good finish.

I recently had my new door fitted by The London Door Company, and I couldn't be happier with the entire experience. From the very beginning, Enzo was incredibly helpful, patiently describing the product and answering all my questions. Initially, I was concerned about the price, but Enzo did an excellent job explaining the value and quality of the door, which gave me full confidence to go ahead with the purchase.
We opted for the Accoya door with leaded glass and a hardwood frame, and the final result has completely transformed the look of our home. The fitters arrived exactly on time and were brilliant throughout the installation process. They ensured the door was fitted with minimal disruption and left the area spotless afterwards. They also took the time to explain how to use and care for the door, which was a great touch.
The craftsmanship and quality are outstanding, and the installation was completed within the timescale they promised. I would highly recommend The London Door Company to anyone looking for a high-quality product and excellent service. Thank you to the entire team for a seamless experience!

We had a great experience with the London Door Company! Our original door had lovely stained glass but was warping and the door itself wasn’t properly insulated. We wanted to fix the door whilst keeping with the aesthetic of the glass that remained over the door. Tom, the designer we worked with was brilliant. He didn’t oversell us and we felt like he understood exactly what we wanted - and beyond that he was able to customise the design for us and match the colours in the glass so well that the new door fits seamlessly with the glass above. James who fitted the door was also fantastic and really went the extra mile to ensure the fit was great. From start to finish - customer service, design, fit and finish were all great and I’d recommend London Door Company in future!

I am so pleased with my new front door from the London Door Company and I have received so many compliments as to how good it looks.
The whole experience from initial sales, survey and fitting was conducted in a truly professional yet friendly manner, backed by again equally professional office staff to answer any questions.
I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending the London Door Company.

London Door Company doors are not cheap but they are worth every penny. Everything from start to finish was first class - including the initial design consultation, the survey, installation and wrap around customer care. These people know a lot about doors and provided great advice on colour schemes and designs. We are utterly delighted with the end result and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

We’re really happy with the service that we received from the London Door Company - from the initial meeting through to survey, fitting and after sales, everything was seamless.
The door itself is fantastic - the quality of make and finishes have met our expectations. We’ve received lovely comments from friends about how nice the new door looks.

A really great experience with London Door Co. From initial contact with the sales designer, through to the installation with James, who is still here having been here since 10am (it’s now 7pm). Fitting our door into our existing frame, perfecting it and making it look absolutely beautiful. I cannot fault the company’s service or craftsmanship. A very happy customer.

My experience with LDC was excellent from start to finish. The design visit offered plenty of choices. The door fitters were excellent, did a very neat and accurate job leaving no damage to walls, just a tiny bit of touching up were the frame/window had been fitted, hardly worth mentioning. The front door looks superb with lovely stained glass and perfect paint finish. Would use again if I have the back door replaced.

London Door Company installed French doors in our balcony a few years ago, but cold air noticeably passes through a small gap between the doors every winter. After installation, we complained for London Door Company to fix the issue. In short, they told us the draught is our problem to address. We cannot recommend this company. Great looking website and the doors look good too....but would you be happy with doors that allow cold air to enter your house during the winter? Their doors are very expensive, so we thought a premium service should be expected. The customer service was simply very poor.

We have just had a Victorian stained glass door and top panel fitted and I can’t describe how beautiful it looks. The craftsmanship is outstanding and all staff have been wonderful. So many compliments and improvements to the feel of the inside of the house, too. Thoroughly recommended!

The team that fitted the door did a fantastic job. It looks great. The guys arrived promptly and got straight on with the job. They were very pleasant and left it clean and tidy.

We cannot fault the experience we've had with the London Door Company. We are in the process of renovating our house and wanted to replace our uPVC front door with a wooden one which was in keeping with the period/style of the house.
Enzo was exceptionally helpful in explaining not only the different options/styles etc available to us but also the processes involved in making, supplying and fitting the door. The follow up contact we had from him was also faultless.
The team in the office (from the viewpoint of sorting out paperwork and payments etc) were also very helpful and prompt and the surveyor who came and measured everything was very professional.
The fitting (by Josh and Miles) went without issue and was done in a day. The door, frame and sill all look amazing and we're very happy with the final result.

I ordered a supply only complete door, frame and side panels. After taking my order a survey appointment was arranged. When the surveyor attended he was visibly and verbally disgruntled as the order was supply only. He did proceed to survey, although he made me acutely aware this was not part of a supply only service. It was solely The LDC who had arranged this appointment as part of my supply of goods / service contract. I have this confirmed in my written T/C's. The items were subsequently delivered in an un-finished state, ie. the paint finish was uneven with white still exposed, additionally further sanding was necessary, the overall finish was visibly rough. I can only assume my items were not quality checked prior to dispatch. (Maybe less attention is given to supply only goods? I foolishly, got drawn into the extensive colour options and the benefits of using accoya rather than an alternative hard wood.) Naturally the delivery was returned. I took the re-delivery of the repainted items approx. 1 week later. I then had to wait an extended time for a fitter. The carpenter attended and fitted the products, albeit with difficulty as the door was 20mm too large (despite a surveyor attending and grudgingly measuring). He was however, unable to fit the door weather board as it was warped. I have since contacted the LDC, supplied a photo and requested replacement. I asked if they can fit as a gesture of goodwill. LDC have said they will replace but not fit. I will now have to pay a fitter to complete this additional work; only because the item supplied was not fit for purpose.
Be careful if choosing supply only. You do not always get what you pay for. I paid approx. £6300 for the supply of exceptional hand crafted, British goods. The reality has been substandard products, with extremely poor service recovery.

LDC have been brilliant throughout, although when we initially had our door fitted there were a few issues with paint finishes and a couple of other problems which were a bit frustrating, but LDC immediately arranged for someone to come back address the issues, this had to be done a few times due to weather etc, but the guys were all very friendly, tidy and efficient. Finally it was all fixed and the door looks amazing we're so happy it, the quality is excellent and we're still loving the solid feel you get when you close it! It's had lots of great compliments too, thank you!

Gavin helped me design the exact door we wanted with a great colour scheme. He came back at different times of the day so we could look at samples in different lights.
When it came to fitting, it wasn't easy due to the shape of our house but the fitters got on with it without issue and worked until the job was done.
We paid a few extra hundred pounds more than another quote but am confident that we absolutely made the right choice. The door looks great - such an improvement!
