Great actors, amazing performance and interesting plot. Really worth to watch!
It's probably best money spend in London. It will stay with you for times. Amazing energetic performances by all. Loved it
Fantastic production, phenomenal acting
Tonight I have been entertained by the most amazing cast. They are the ones that make Shakespeare the most awe inspiring playwright by bringing his work to life. I can’t stop thinking about it.
Stunning and very professional performance
The play, the actors were great
One of the best plays I have seen recently. The cast were all outstanding. 5 stars
Brilliant production in a beautiful theatre! Great start to my Christmas celebrations with my adult daughter! Dramatic and powerful rendition of this infamous Shakespearean play. Still current themes of race, identity, treachery and status!
It’s a shame we couldn’t add another star to each attribute. Loved every minute of it, from start to finish! Masterful interpretations, body language and stage sets.
We really enjoyed the production - had fantastic seats which we managed to get at a good price. Thank you, set us up nicely for Christmas
Fantastic production! Marvellous cast and splendid performances. Brilliant interpretation. Well designed stage sets and backdrops. Just perfect. Loved it.
Great performance by all, definitely recommend
I was able to grab last minute tickets as I am traveling in London for the Holidays. I took my 13yo daughter. We loved the show. Great seats. Exactly what I was looking forward too. What better place to see Othello than in London.
This play was incredible! The cast were so good, it was very well delivered and was so gripping throughout. I enjoyed it so much and the theatre itself is one of the most beautiful theatres I have ever been to! I highly recommend the play, so good!
Stunning and gripping. Superb acting.
Excellent acting and stagecraft.
Incredible production
First thing’s first - yes, Othello is a tragedy, but when every single line is shouted, it quickly becomes tiring. From the very start it felt over the top. Constant shouting isn’t good acting - and you don’t need good actors for it. It was a total waste of a good cast. Because everything was loud all the time, there was no subtlety and no build-up - just noise. In the end it felt more exhausting than moving. A tragedy should leave an impact but this one just left us drained. Second - my girlfriend and I have lived and worked in London for over ten years and speak English fluently, yet we struggled to understand much of it. The play was done entirely in Shakespearean overly pretentious English, delivered fast and at full volume. Following what was going on took serious effort. Bottom line: this play is completely unwatchable. A few people left at the interval.
This was a top-notch production, with outstanding acting. We really appreciate the disabled entrance and being able to get to our seats step-free. Early on in the performance there were a few times when we could not hear well, but it got better.
