The staging was excellent. Harewood and Jones were exceptional, getting to the very heart of what Othello is about. But the amazing aspect was Vinette Johnson coming in under the radar towards the end , she really owned the part of Emelia. Altogether a great night at the Theatre . Thank you and Bravo to all involved !!!

Visually stylish production. Great cast, especially Toby Jones as Iago. Venue somewhat disappointing. Although the auditorium is well preserved/restored there are no cafe facilities (only the bar) and no seating in the bar.

Embarrassing attempt to modernise, especially Othello-Desdemona relationship. This trivialised their love, and turned the final act tepid. The play belonged most affectingly to Emilia, who voices the truly modern message of the playwright.
Toby Jones was brilliant and the stage design fantastic. However voice projection from some of the actors was not great and we were in the stalls.

Very enjoyable but the performance was punctuated by some of the audience opening soft drink cans at crucial moments which was very distracting.
An excellent performance and if you are a Shakespeare fan then you will enjoy this....2hrs45mins running time with interval.

Amazing play. Cast was super. We bought tickets during black friday deal. Had great seats (row K on stalls). And absolutely enjoyed the show yesterday
