Disappointed in this performance. Vocal delivery at times was difficult to comprehend and seemed overly rushed. Acting in first half was very disjointed but improved significantly in the second. Overall it was a mixed performance by cast in a disappointing production .

Wow!! Stunning production. Toby Jones was pure brilliance, David Harewood lived every second of Othello’s torment. Didn’t work for me that Desdemona had an American accent and she was too feisty. Loved every word and moment of the play I studied at A level many years ago. Would go again.

This is a stunning show with the lead actors bringing the fragilities of human characteristics to the fore.

Wow. Just wow. Amazing performances by all of the actors, but especially Vinette Robinson - her roll starts small but ends with an explosive culmination. Shakespeare should be proud of the entire troup.

Excellent cast and made the play relatable to the two young people who were with us. The staging was also brilliant.

I had a lovely day. Othello was everything I expected and more. The quality of the show was excellent and I was so absorbed I really hoped that this time Iago wouldn't be successful!!!

David Harewood was sensational and Caitlin Fitzgerald also strong but I could not take Toby Jones seriously as Iago, he looked like Capt Mainwaring from Dad’s Army and is just not credible as a baddy. Excellent staging and good pacing, very enjoyable but not quite 5 stars because of Iago miscasting.

Great production with a superb set of performances, too many to single out. The plot was well executed with surprises along the way! Loved it.

Best production of Othello I have ever seen: all three leads utterly brilliant. Best Desdemona ever. Stunning set and design. Harewood and Jones both in their element. Can't stop thinking about it. Brilliant.

Excellent production in every way. The theatre was well-manned and we had no problems finding our seats. The play and acting were superb. Enjoyed ice-creams at the interval and had a very enjoyable evening.

Superb staging. Predictable Iago. Brilliant Rodrigo and Emilia. Moving Desdemons. Vocally poor Othello. All in all, an enjoyable performance. Louise McGee
