We ordered a wardrobe - shambles !

We ordered a wardrobe that was the last one in stock. It was immaculate on the shop floor. Dead straight.

When we ordered we were told it would be flat packed and delivery for the whole cost. Then, when we paid for the item we were told the delivery guys would need cash in hand. A tax fiddle at best. An extra £70.

When the wardrobe arrived, it was complete and the guys struggled and get it in the house.

We were then told that wasn't their fault and I would still need to pay them £70! I said no. In the end I had to give them £35 cash. Then when the next delivery guys turned up, they would get the other £35! So it goes back to the shop, flat packed and brought back 5 days later. Then...when it arrived, I had a phone call saying it was complete and not flatpacked ! I refused entry to the house until I realised the 5 guys that turned up, were supposed to put it together inside the house, which they did. Now considering this was a £600 wardrobe, when it was finally put together, he doors didn't shut, and paint was chipped, the floor was put in back to front so the chip board was front facing instead of rear facing. The guy said that was the best he could do and left.

I could have bought an immaculate wardrobe from IKEA for £350! I wish I had - over priced, left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing and it's the first and last time I ever shop here !
