Expensive mistake
Bought 3 motorised louvalite blinds in summer 2019 for a guest bedroom so not used that frequently especially with the pandemic restrictions . 6 weeks ago 2 of them stopped working within weeks of one another .The motors had packed in .Guarantee was for 2 yrs .If they were in a daily used room I suspect they would have failed within that guarantee period. They cost over £600 .The local blind shop that fitted them contacted louvalite to no avail.
They wanted £140 for each replacement motor . For so little usage no thanks .They now have manual pulls on them and awaiting failure of third blind .Save your money . They also let quite a lot of light in between the frame and the " blackout" material .
No support and everything bad about buying British
I would not use this company, I have purchased 5 blinds all of which were electric with a remote. The blinds are nice, but frankly if you want electric blinds with remotes there are far better companies out there. There is no support from this company, no one seems to know how toward them and the instructions for the R1932 remote might as well be in Chinese, it is companies like this that make people very weary about buying British.
Louvolite blinds…
I ordered 8 Louvolite motorised blinds from a retailer. 4 blinds were faulty. One makes noise, 2 rolled up one side and 1 came a part. I am confident to say blinds are below standard quality. Their factory repair service is worse. When I received repaired blinds, they had cosmetic damages. Of course, the factory denied all that. I will never buy Louvolite blinds ever again.
Poor Service, Poor Products
Ordered some louvolite vision motorised blinds to complete the refurbishment of my house, within 9 moths of install one of the motors has failed on the blinds living it in a closed position with no manual override. After calling Louvolite to report the fault I was told I would have to go back to the supplying dealer to issue a warranty replacement, unfortunately the sellers have permanently closed. With no resolution offered by louvolite I can honestly say I feel extremely let down by the company.
