After using this the coconut shampoo and conditioner for around 3 months (1-2 times per week) My hair began falling out in handfuls in the shower. After going to the dr and getting bloodwork everything was normal. So i tried a different shampoo, after one use of a different shampoo my hair is no longer falling out.

I have been using shampoo/conditioner for 4 months, and recently noticed massive hair loss. I would put my hair up in a ponytail and you could just see chunks of my scalp. I had no idea that it was my shampoo/conditioner causing it, and even got my thyroid checked because of it. I will never use this brand again. Really hoping that my hair will come back after using it for so long.

Bought this shampoo for a considerably higher price than my usual shampoo and it made my hair fall out from the FIRST USE!! I’m sure this is a straight road to baldness... After reading the reviews I guess I might as well just throw it down the bin.. absolutely disappointed, what a waste!

i love the coconut body wash a lotion the scent lasts all day and leaves me smooth i haven’t tried out the shampoo and conditioner

I’ve used this shampoo and conditioner for about 5 months and I’ve noticed my hair slowly falling out so I looked it up to see what was happening. I have no idea why I didn’t do my research before because I usually do but I figured since it was vegan and cruelty free it was okay. but I’ve lost so much hair from this! It’s horrible. Nobody should have to go through this. Horrible product I wouldn’t give it to my worst enemy.

Help please!!! Used these products exclusively for almost a yr because I was trying to go “clean” and curly girl method. I’ve always had such thick nice hair. Now I have half of what I had and you can see my scalp all over my head. Bald spots everywhere. Didn’t put 2 and 2 together til I saw someone say it in a review. Does anyone know the EXACT INGREDIENTS causing this? I’m afraid to try anything now because I don’t want to make it worse! Help please!!

I cannot believe how distrustful their shampoo and conditioner products could be. When buying the product and seeing that it was 97% made from natural origins I thought to myself, how can I go wrong!?!! But recently I have been noticing a huge amount of hair loss than usual in the shower. I thought nothing of it until I could physically FEEL a difference in my hair thickness...... And a lot of other people are claiming they have also experienced hair loss.

I am one to try to use natural products, so I am not putting harmful chemicals into my hair and damaging it and thought how could I go wrong. But I cannot believe this. Please DO NOT buy this product.

After using the shampoo and conditioner exclusively for a year my hair is falling out! Every time I run my hands, brush or wash my hair handfuls of hair is falling out. You can see my scalp all over my head and my hair is half the thickness it was before. I also started to get very itchy scalp and develop painful sores on my scalp. DO NOT USE!

I bought the Muru Muru Butter Body Lotion. Very bad experience. The cream is sticky and does not moisturize skin properly. Leaves you with an uncomfortable feeling, like sweat.

I wanted to try Love Beauty and Planet shampoo and conditioner for a while because I thought it would be very nourishing for my hair and I liked the fact that it was a "clean" product, good for my hair and good for the environment on how it was made ... but sadly I am not impressed at all. My hair does not feel good, actually I think it feels worse than before. And for the price you pay for it doesn't help. So I will not be buying it anymore, ever. It's too bad, though, cause I had high hopes.

This has to be illegal. This product does cause TRAUMATIC hair loss. Burning, scarring, and crusty sores. I'm literally in tears right now. My hair was falling out in HANDFULS, actual chunks! I've always had such beautiful hair, like omg. It's gone! My hair is destroyed its so thin I can see my scalp I've used this for almost a year... I was also pregnant while using this so, I feel awful and just hope it didn't cause any harm.

I used these products for about 6 months. I noticed that my hair was falling out in huge clumps but I wrote it off as hormone related. My scalp started itching. I have this issue every few years and know that head and shoulders takes care of the itching. Immediately after switching shampoo and conditioner my hair was no longer falling out in the clumps it was while using the shampoo. I advise against using this product.

Fantastic vegan body products. Vegan products are the only way to go environmentally, for other lives, for yourself, for everything. Thank you for making vegan body care. These products do their job and the variety of scents is fun and appreciated.

I have pretty healthy hair, but I wanted to do better and try sulfate free shampoo for my wavy hair. I’ve been using this shampoo (coconut scent to be exact) for 2 months now and have experienced hair loss and dandruff. I get occasional dandruff but it’s been so much worse. I also noticed more of my hair falling out in the shower, but everyone I told explained it’s normal- but I knew it was more than usual. I looked up ingredients that cause hair loss and sure enough sodium chloride is one of them and is an ingredient in these shampoos. I was using Suave before and while it’s not sulfate free it kept my hair nice and did NOT cause hair loss. Please do not buy these products. I only wash my hair 2x a week and in just 2 months I’ve lost so much volume you can see my scalp in certain lights/positions. Terrible product and a waste of money ($5 EACH). Don’t try it.

I bought the set at Costco. I wanted to try sulfate free shampoo. And let me say that the below reviews are accurate. This shampoo over four washes had my hair falling out and breaking with an itchy scalp. I use kerastase and head and shoulders. He’ll I’ve even used Pantene on vacation because I had no other options. Literally anything is better than the rose shampoo and condition. I don’t understand how this product is legal in Canada. It has taken over a year for antenna hairs (which I have never had before) to grow to ear length.

Traumatizing hair loss. This shampoo and conditioner has caused major hair loss. I cried as fistfuls of hair came out after using their conditioner. I am so upset that something that claims it’s natural and better for us was actually quite damaging. Be careful using this product. I had a full beautiful head of thick luscious hair and I am left with a few skimpy dry strands. Traumatizing experience.

I have suffered from hair loss while using this shampoo, I had really healthy hair and I wanted to try and do better for my hair and decided to try something natural, but I have suffered from extreme hair loss, my hair have thinned out massively. I’m very disappointed.

Says vegan on the bottle but got home to find out it’s made by Unilever, who test on animals. Leaves my scalp too dry and doesn’t even smell that good

My whole life I suffer from eczema. Four years ago, after intensive research in the "cosmetics series" in the UMC hospital in Utrecht (The Netherlands), it was determined that I am very allergic to the preservative Methylisothiazolinone. Since then I have avoided this ingredient and I am eczema-free. For my children, I have also been buying paraben-free and other chemical-free agents such as Methylisothiazolinone for years because these drugs have also been associated with breast cancer and have been found in cancer cells. A year ago I bought Love Beauty & Planet shampoo and conditioner. My children loved the smell and it was vegan, without parabens and with respect for our planet (at least I thought so). Half a year ago I started using that shampoo myself. From that moment on I got eczema on my scalp, followed by thick crusts, inflammation, and in some places hair loss. My doctor prescribed Locoid lotion for me, a medicine with hydrocortisone (a hormone medicine), which was followed by even more hair loss. Just before I went on vacation last summer, I went to my doctor again, because the Locoid lotion had not worked. I thought it might be a fungus and I was prescribed another remedy. Unfortunately, this was not available at the pharmacy and I went on holiday without medicine, with the idea to buy the medicine in Italy. I went on vacation and took my old shampoo and conditioner (of which the bottles are smaller) from the Grahams brand. After two weeks my scalp got better and in September the symptoms had completely disappeared. Last week I washed my hair again with Love Beauty & Planet and I got a terrible itch on my (still thin) scalp. When checking the bottles, I made a bizarre discovery. The Coconut conditioner from Love Beauty & Planet contain Methylisothiazolinone! I think the texts "Vegan" and "No Parabens" and "acts of love for our planet" very misleading, since they use chemical preservatives. All bottles of Love Beauty & Planet have gone into the bin.

claims products are sulfate free when often they are not. Those that are contain ever harsher chemicals so overall very misleading
