Love Home Swap Reviews 

LHS provides a valuable service, one which we've taken great advantage of. However, the overall experience diminished once Love Home Swap replaced Homes for Exchange. The UX, especially on mobile devices, leaves much to be desired. Our home is listed for swaps only—no points exchanges—and yet I get numerous requests for points swaps. I've basically stopped trying to view swap requests, particularly the photos, on my phone because the experience is so slow and interruptive. (Why isn't there a dedicated app that displays full-screen photos?)

We were having a problem contacting a swap host. Our message to LHS was responded to quickly & politely. LHS messaged the host on our behalf and the problem was resolved within hours. Great service.

Great experience this swap! Nice and quiet street close to centre. Place is small but perfect for the 2 of us. Lovely restaurants nearby and bike rental on the corner. And Paris is of course wonderfull...

The LoveHomeSwap team are very responsive and genuinely want to help resolve any issues quickly and comprehensively. They have always called back in a timely manner, with a pleasant attitude.

Lorraine was a super host! Couldn't recommend her highly enough. Fast, friendly communication and willing to go the extra mile to make us happy in her Belfast abode! Her home is absolutely beautiful, an amazing location on the river and within 10 minutes walk to the bustling Ormeau Road with fantastic restaurants, coffee shops and not forgetting the stunning Ormeau park less than 5 minutes walk away. In her home I couldn't help but watch the rowers cruise up and down the river every so often. So calm and peaceful. Lorraine left a lovely note and some small touches like fresh coffee that made our stay extra special! Thanks so so much. I hope we can return the favour some day in the future. If you're thinking of coming to Belfast stay here, you'll not regret it.

The exchange was easy, lovely home, comfortable stay, good communication from Guest, lots of info about the area in the home.

Making an enquiry should be a bit easier than sending a message to so many people - the website is not 100% user friendly.

I really don’t like the point system. It sets up expectations and isn’t based on trust

Great to swap houses with another family. You are not only swapping houses, but also toys, experiences and tips and tricks regarding the surroundings.

Really nice look to the website. However, I am finding it difficult to book - i can not search for the exact dates which is an awful waste of time.

The interface is so terrible that I click on a calendar and it gives me a different date. Then I correct it, and it gives the person I'm speaking to a different date again.

How is it that date selection is difficult? That's the easy part.

Big community of people where you are able to do full swaps (both people let the other person stay at their home) or stay at a home for points

A very good solution to discover the World and to meet different people and cultures.

LHS has been very helpful in the last couple of years, helping us navigate the Covid period with ease.
We are sad not to renew our account due to changed family circumstances

The principle is good and I like the houses and people we swap with.
There is room for improvement on three aspects.
1. How to recruit more homes in Europe ? South Africa, Australia and New Zealand are wonderful, but how can we consider traveling so far with climate issues ?
2. At first sight, the offer is broad, but when looking into details, it's not so much the case because too many homes are for rent on holiday time.
3. Filters and map search can be misleading sometimes

the place is very well connected to the city centre, 15 minutes walking or 5 with a bike.

Two Austrailian couples stayed for a week - they had a great week sightseeing and dining out in Donaghadee.

I was very pleased with the security that Love Home Swap provided for my first swap. We wanted to change the date of our swap after we had initially set the date. Love Home Swap have a procedure to ensure that both parties agree the new date, and so prevent any unilateral decision making. I was pleased they were so careful.
