Having travelled with Hurtigruten on several occasions I had made usual enquiries with them for my winter coastal voyage this December and obtained dates & prices for the trip. By pure chance I checked out LowCostDeals . Within 15minutes they had found exactly the same holiday with a substantial saving! The service I received from Karen and her colleagues has been second to none.
This is the first review I have ever made but was so impressed with the service given I wanted to make my appreciation known.

We booked a the last moment. Where do you go for a week in March when the Med might still be a bit a bit chilly and warmer places too far away for a week ?
Yvonne Montgomery of Apsen Travel organised a fantastic week for us cruising up the fabulously scenic East Coast Norway right up to the Russian border at Kirkenes. She had either been on the cruise herself or was just brilliantly informed. The hotels in Kirkenes and Oslo were well chosen and didn't break the bank . The northern lights shone down obligingly for three nights in succession
We flew back for a two night mini break in Oslo on the way home .
I hadn't been on any sort of cruise before and despite suspicions that they were for Very Old people I thoroughly enjoyed it. The boat stops two or three times a day , sometimes for 6 hours as in Trondheim or for shorter periods and there were options for excursions. We drove huskies on one day and I retrospect I was sorry to miss the King Crab day out on snowmobiles
Land was always in view and each morning it was exciting to wake up next morning to colder , snowier and more dramatic landscapes
Brilliant and different. My only reservation was that it was in fact a weather dependent trip. We were lucky but I would advise people not to book the excursions beforehand. Hurtigruten pretends that you have to but you don't .Wait and see if the sun shines

I discovered the company by accident last year and had wonderful service from them, especially Sarah. I had no hesitation in booking through them again this year as it was another long haul holiday and their prices were excellent - really good savings! Once again Sarah Stuart did everything for us and answered any queries we had about our travel plans. Of course we would come back to them for another holiday, no question!

Everytime I approach Aspen to book my holiday I immediately begin to look forward to the day I climb into the car or taxi bound for my destination. We have been using Aspen travel to book our large party's annual ski trip for the past 5 years. My contact there is Lucy Clancy who, every year, provides the best service I have ever had. We initially have a group booking and as the time gets nearer more people ask to join our group and all I have to do is send Lucy a simple email and she takes care of everything. Any queries with the tour operator or airline are quickly addressed and responded to. In fact we returned from our most recent Club Med Ski trip on Sunday and the first thing I done on Monday morning was email Lucy to thank her for organising everything and to ask her for prices for our ski trip next year. Unbeatable service and we would never use anyone else other than Aspen and in particular Lucy! Aspen, she is a credit to your company.

Ii cannot fault the effort that Karen put into answering my many questions prior to booking a holiday to India. She put any fears I had to rest and always promptly answered my questions. The tour was with Kuoni who again were faultless throughout the holiday. We had an amazing holiday - such a valuable life experience! I would not hesitate to recommend booking with LowCostDeals (in fact, we have already booked Califormia). Well done!

We were referred to Karen at Aspen Travel by Viking Cruises. We had so many queries it being our first river cruise and our first visit to china so there was a lot to get sorted and Karen just made everything so simple and now we are due to leave in less than three weeks and have all our baggage tags, visas and bookings all paid for and she sorted it all out. So well in fact we have booked another river cruise later this Summer. Equally easily. Get Karen to do it for you.

Karen arranged a good deal on a Danube cruise. she replies to e-mails quickly and answers all questions. I would book a holiday with this travel company again.

I used Aspen Travel in 2012 to arrange a Mark Warner tennis holiday with some add ons. Karen Allen was very helpful and sorted out a couple of issues then. This year I wanted a similar tennis holiday for the family and immediately thought of Karen. An email and a couple of phone calls later it was all arranged and I saved some money too. Simple. Not really if you use Low Cost Deals for your travel agent.
I had the fortune to make contact with Karen Allen who was not only knowledgeable on Wendy Wu tours but she also had an understanding and patient manner despite me calling her innumerable times to check on yet another detail that I hadn't appreciated.
It's nice to have such customer orientated agents around as it adds to the pleasurable experience of making any holiday the "holiday of a lifetime"
