The email is identified as risky by Virgin Media's Corporate Firewall and goes straight into Junk folder. I have become used to forwarding it to my own email and then forwarding it back into my corporate email as it then gets accepted. No luck today as paperclip symbol suggests the attachment is there, but it isn't. Don't have this carry-on with any other Utility portals : (

There is better services out there
There is better services out there. I mean, comeon. it s 2019 . How difficult is it to just put a digital map online for people to search wether there are Gas pipe running through their property without making it a 9-step register and wait for email reply process.
Even councils manage this nowadays.

We need to ensure that our asset owning Members know who is asking for their information which is why you have to provide your relevant details at the registration stage. The email link is to ensure that you are able to receive the relevant responses and thereafter work safely. It would be unlikely that any asset owner (including utilities or Councils) provides its information without asking for this information for obvious security reasons which we hope you can understand.

A brilliant a quick way of establishing underground utilities.
Unfortunately BT are not part of this Linesearch , and is a detriment to BT.
Easy to use website once you have done a few maps.

theoretically brilliant but 1 flaw...
Sounds like an immensely valuable service, easy to register and create a request for information BUT the 2 organisations that I need information from are not registered (STWA and Glos CC) so it’s all been a bit of a waste of time unfortunately as there was no opportunity to review the enquiry AFTER I found that information out :-( I hope Im not going to be fielding calls from a whole list of other companies....

We do list the members that are associated with our service under the "Members" section of the website, these can be viewed before logging in or registering. We are continually trying to get more members on-board for a one-stop shop for asset plans.
Only those members that were in your area of interest would contact you in line with safe digging practises.
