Smooth experience in Melbourne — easy booking, hassle-free drop-off/pick-up, no issues. A bit odd leaving bags in a shop instead of a dedicated room, but it worked fine. Tried Bologna twice and ran... See more

Fast drop off and pickup in Hong Kong
Was my first time using the service and definitely I’ll use it again in the future
Easy application to use and understand.

The location I was quoted when searching was not where it stated after I was booked.
The storage facility/shop was not 24hrs as it stated when I searched, and the price had hidden extras added after the search, so in summary, you cannot trust this site to give you the results it shows you.
To cap it all, the storage facility/shop was 15 minutes late in opening, and we were told they were only open 07:00 to 16:00.
I would not recommend this company

I showed up to the location and was told they couldn’t take my luggage at all. I had already taken two buses, paid two fares, and spent over an hour and a half getting there. I received no service at all and still haven’t been refunded.

Remember to read the small print and take a photo to stop the timer when you're paying for the hourly service, otherwise you'll get nailed on the price. You need to be able to read emails after you drop bags off and before you pick them up again. Don't rely on the person storing the bags to offer any help. It's in their interests to not help you.

I used LuggageHero in Hamburg when every station locker was full and we were stuck with two large suitcases and a few smaller bags. In that moment it genuinely saved the day and let us explore the city without dragging everything around. The app itself was smooth and straightforward.
The downside came when I saw the actual storage location. It turned out to be an extremely run-down hotel that didn’t feel safe or trustworthy. That took away quite a bit of the peace of mind. It’s also a shame that the app only reveals the exact partner location after payment. Knowing the address and type of venue beforehand would help set expectations and let customers make an informed choice.
Great concept and solid app experience, but I’d love more transparency around the storage partners.

Very friendly guy in the drop off place, nice and easy for collection also.

It was extremely easy to find the place, they kept the luggage safe and the payment amount was normal.

Great app. Easy to use. I used it during a trip to Rome and found a storage place for my luggage while we were sightseeing. Very convenient. Highly recommend it.

Great reception at the facility
Whilst this was not a lock-up per se, our bags were kept out of site and constantly monitored
We even received an offer to extend opening hours to accommodate our pick up

Very seamless from booking to drop-off and pick-up. The location was central, secure and the staff made it easy. Huge help not having to lug our suitcases around on our last day!

The cost calculation information was misleading so I ended up paying more than 40€ for less than a day.

I liked that the storage point was very near from my hotel and easy access.
The person in charge to receive my luggage was very kind. I highly recommend this service. 😊

Very convenient service when there is no luggage storage facility at the airport.

In North America, where there aren't train stations everywhere with lockers, the ability to find a place to put your stuff somewhere safe and secure is a game changer. As a tourist, on a travel day, it can change the entire trajectory of your day, where you can go, what you can see. Without a place to store your gear, you can be limited. So, this is a great thing!

So easy and the staff was super friendly and helpful!

Price mismatch at location. Then after the booking they bombard you with retention email and questionnaires, I counted them, 8 emails not regarding by booking directly (confirmation, drop of and retrieval of bags). No unsubscribe button in the emails, Also, I got an email just now thanking me for a review i did not write!

I'm not a seasoned traveller by any means, but I've made a few leisure trips this year where I didn't want to carry a backpack on a city break, and I have used the service twice (we'll come to that 🤣). Now that I've had more experience, I understand it's very expensive, compared to other services and options.
Also, beware the SMALL PRINT as they charge you for a "no-show" 🤣
It's sharp practice at its very basic level, which some people know as 'enshittification'. If you ARE a seasoned traveller reading this, you'll already know you've got to have your wits about you when you're travelling. But hey, they're a business trying to get by, I get it. Times are tough out there. I'm just a dolt who's trying to self-organise a trip with a lot to get right 🤣
I've effectively paid 12€ for nothing, so I might as well get some value out of it with this review and I hope I can save someone else some money into the bargain. And LuggageHero have earned this review.
The rental doesn't start until you turn up, and I guess I could have cancelled in advance, so it's on me. Reading other reviews it looks like you're actually paying for the BOOKING whether you use it or not.
My advice now is to shop around as there are better, cheaper alternatives out there. If you're in a hotel, check with reception to see if they offer the service (without naming anyone, there's even a chain of 'first class' budget hotels in the UK that will 'stash' your bags securely and professionally via a rival online service); check with the rail company's website to see if they operate station lockers, etc.
EDIT 19/11/2025: Thanks for the response (in which you pretty much confirm what I said) but I'll leave things as they are and pay the fee, so that I can genuinely leave this review as is and let it serve as a warning/reminder to others not to make the same mistake as I did 🫡

This was such a great relief. I was in Vancouver for an event and didn't want to carry my luggage around. My friend told me about LuggageHero and i went on my phone and booked them in a minute. Everything went very smooth. They are a courier service company who also happens to store your luggage for a fee. I recommend this service.
