Smooth experience in Melbourne — easy booking, hassle-free drop-off/pick-up, no issues. A bit odd leaving bags in a shop instead of a dedicated room, but it worked fine. Tried Bologna twice and ran... See more

The 1st location we booked at Hay Street Mall stopped working with LuggageHero and no one informed us of it. I only found out because I happened to ask LuggageHero a question about our booking, a few days before our trip. The person working at the location we ended up using, also at Hay Street Mall, suggested that instead of buying luggage protection insurance, we should give them a tip instead! Not sure how a tip was going to cover our luggage if anything had happened to it!

I’ve used this app twice, in two different cities. Both times have been smooth and the attendings were very friendly. Everything always came back untouched. Would definitely use this service in the future.

I paid for storage, £12 for a day which I did not use. I'm happy to pay for this. Luggage Hero has charged my CC an extra £14 on top. Their explanation is that it "helps cover the partner location’s preparation and reserved space, even if the bags weren’t stored". Preparation that I have already paid for. Absolutely ridiculous. I shall be contesting this charge with my CC provider and will not use Luggage Hero in future.

Our luggage was stolen whilst in the care of a Luggage Hero outlet. Foodao, Little Bourke Street Melbourne
The shop attendants were no help and the manager/owner said it was nothing to do with her. Our bags were not moved to a secure area but left near the entrance door of the restaurant.
A police incident was raised and the shop owner interviewed but was not very helpful at all. When questioned regarding CCTV the reply was we had wifi problems.
We have evidence of a bank statement that clearly shows we made a payment to Luggage Hero.initially they tried to tell us there was no payment made
At LH suggestion I submitted an insurance claim via their website but have had no reply from LH or their insurer. Luggage Hero is not replying to any emails.
Not a good company to deal with and they obviously do not check the premises for security as they would lead you to believe.
Have sent numerous followup emails to ‘Kenneth’ but he is NOT replying. No accountability or responsibity
Would not recommend this service.

Deceptive booking practice and insecure "storage".
I thought I was leaving my bags in lockers at Southern Cross Station, because that's what I selected. Not until after I had paid was I given the address of a local cafe near the station, where the bags were on display in front of the counter, in plain view and easy access of everyone who walked in to buy food that day. The only security was the very young (and very pleasant it must be said) teenage girls behind the counter. I would eat there, but I am one and done with Luggage Hero.

Used Howe Street, Vancouver BC luggage hero, walking distance from Cruise ship terminal. Easy to book online, staff were friendly and made sure we stopped the timer on the app to end the payment.

Friendly people, secure site, per-hour pricing. They have it all.

Needed this service as a last minute delay with our rooms happened for 4 adults in downtown Rome. Was the first time using the service anywhere and we were in and out in 10 min, allowing us to make our tour times without dragging around 10 bags :)
Would use anytime with no hesitation.

I’ve used Luggage Hero in different cities in the past couple of years. Albeit being on the pricier side, I’ve never had any issues with the system to date. Shop owners have always been friendly and eager to help, and often open for long hours which gave us more flexibility to enjoy the cities we visited.

Our first time using Luggage Hero and will definitely use them again, friendly and efficient. Only small hiccup was the staff member on the front desk was new and didnt fully understand the concept, however he called his manager and after a very short conversation we were on our way and our luggage was safely stored waiting our return.

We were in new York for a day and wanted to use luggage hero for a few hours so we could do a little sightseeing. We couldnt find the location to drop off our 2 bags. I tried to reach them by email but couldnt. We decide to just go to the airport. When we got home I was billed $32.84 by luggage hero
What a rip off. Avoid at all costs.

Just came home from a fabulous girls weekend in Savannah. Oue air bnb was just a 3 minute walk from the luggage storage at the bike shop. It was super easy to schedule, drop off and pick up and allowed us to enjoy our last day with a flight out several hours after check out. Would definitely use again and recommend!

It was super easy to find a storage place close to the tourist spot we wanted to visit. What a great service - we could store our bags while visiting New York after our cruise and had hours until our later flight. The location owners were very nice.

Signing up was easy. Please note that the insurance may not be necessary for you (do a Google search).
Drop off was simple. The person there was friendly and walked me through it since it was my first time. He even recognized me at pickup time
