Do not buy anything from this store. The delivery company and tracking websites used by lulu.com deceive customers. La Poste and 17tracknet have terrible ratings and numerous complaints, yet lulu.com continues to use these companies, causing harm to its customers. 17tracknet provides no useful information, besides confusing customers and making them click on advertising banners that say things like "FIND YOUR PACKAGE," but are actually external companies, possibly scams. As for the French company La Poste, they didn't even try to deliver my book, didn't inform me of its location, and don't even have a way to file a complaint. I only found out my book hadn't been delivered because I checked the website one day to see the delivery status, and now La Poste says they will send my book back to France. La Poste also delivered books to other people at my university late and to the wrong address. Not to mention that the company charges 7 euros for delivery in 20 days and almost 40 euros for delivery in a week.

Shipping to Europe from the UK at a ridiculously high price
My order was unexpectedly shipped from the UK, to Belgium (EU) resulting in customs fees and extra shipping costs that were not clearly communicated - I paid 93€ for a 3,5 kg delivery.
I hope Lulu improves its EU shipping options, by printing in of the 27 EU countries - the shipping cost for my parcel should be between 10 and 20€.

Lulu works with a global print network, but we are not always able to guarantee that an order will be printed within a specific country or region. Production location can vary depending on factors such as product type and availability. Customs fees are determined by local regulations and, unfortunately, are outside of Lulu’s control.
Although this situation was beyond our control, our support team provided a refund of the shipping cost as a one-time courtesy to help amend the experience. We hope that with the information the support agent provided, you now have a better understanding and experience with us next time.

Fantastic Printing of our Family Memoir
The book I made and ordered came in a timely manner. The book looks fantastic. The template I used for the cover made everything look great. It took a while to get the margins right for it to work...but the pages are great quality and the pictures are crisp and clear!

Even if you don’t charge, the work usually includes things like: creating the Lulu account, formatting the manuscript, preparing the cover, uploading files, setting book size, paper, price , approving proofs and publishing.
Most people find those steps confusing.
All for free. I did this for over 15 people so far. and many years.

There doesn't seem to be a way to copy a cover forward to the next version and still be able to edit the cover with your tool.

You are correct. At this time, we don't have a way to copy a book cover created in our cover tool from one project to another.
Once your cover is created, you can download the print-ready cover file in PDF format and then upload it to another project using the "Upload Your Cover" option, but it wouldn't be editable.
