I cannot fault the service I received from Lyons Davidson Solicitors. I was involved in an extremely lengthy and complex family court matter, and throughout the process I received exceptional support from both of my solicitors, Amayi Hampson and Bia Brito.

Amayi handled my case for nearly two years and was an exceptionally caring, compassionate, and highly skilled solicitor. She always made me feel listened to, supported, and reassured, and her expertise and commitment to achieving the best possible outcome were evident throughout. When she went on maternity leave, Bia took over. Given the complexity of the case, the handover was seamless, and Bia was fully up to speed from the outset.

Although I worked with Bia for only a couple of months, I genuinely felt very well cared for. She quickly built a strong understanding of my case, was approachable, responsive, and reassuring, and continued to provide the same high standard of advice and representation.

The team was proactive, professional, and consistently gave clear, practical advice. They also provided invaluable support during what was an incredibly stressful and emotional period, helping me navigate the process with confidence.

The outcome could not have been more positive for my family, and I am extremely grateful for the dedication, expertise, and care shown throughout. I would not hesitate to highly recommend Lyons Davidson Solicitors to anyone in need of outstanding legal representation.

Good communication from the time Kyle took over the case.

Communication was very poor. Did not feel that they were acting in my best interest. I made a formal complaint about their performance but it was not actioned. Settlement of my claim was delayed many weeks due to a my case officer leaving the company which I was not informed about and then further delayed when the replacement also left. Would not recommend this

After a long four year boundary dispute with our neighbours Lyons Davidson helped us finally resolve the situation. To all the people involved i want to say a big thank you in helping us end this nightmare. I suffered an accident in November 2023, the other party admitted liability and my insurance company instructed Lyon Davidson to process my claim. . I’ve had to constantly send messages to ask for an update, if I didn’t then I would have no communication from them at all! My last message from them was December 2025 I’ve since left messages and asked for call backs but can only deal with a virtual assistant. A member of staff told me in December it would be going to court and she would start proceedings. I hadn’t heard anything, so I finally managed to speak to somebody at Lyon’s to be told that the papers still haven’t been issued 7 months later!!! It will be 3 years in November since my accident and my claim is minimal and mainly for my expenses that I have paid out. Totally unprofessional service from this company, do not use them!

I worked with Kelly at Lyons Davidson and the support has been nothing short of amazing. I was incredibly anxious and concerned going through family court proceedings as these things are incredibly stressful but with the help and support from my solicitor this was made more bearable. I honestly cant thank them enough and I wouldnt hesitate to use them in the future. Highly recommend if you want a empathetic solicitor ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Without doubt the worst solicitors I have ever used, constantly chasing them to do anything, more than 2.5yrs for the claim went to court, my barrister never turned which Lyons arranged, total sham. Then I won the case well 75% to 25% god knows how that works. Lyons got me just over £700 settlement what a joke. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME

In my opinion, Lyon Davidson is one of the least effective law firms I have dealt with. Based on my personal experience, they have been extremely slow in handling my case, provide very poor communication with their clients, and show little urgency in progressing matters. I felt that my case was not managed professionally or efficiently.

If you are considering using this firm, I would recommend researching other options before making a decision. This review reflects my personal experience.

Pretty poor overall. The company is a large corporate in place for our home insurance, they are, in short, on the gravy train. I pointed out early on that the person who owed us money appeared on custom's house to have no money, no, I was told, we can continue the assessment. Several communications later, & a lot of time invested, sure enough, this was the very reason they couldn't take the case. They need to listen to customers first & foremost, rather than launching into a full assessment (costing the insurance) this check on finances should have been done first, not last. I was then informed not to bother claiming ourselves because of this custom's house account. They need to be aware that the customs house balance is only reflective of one day. Waste of time we will continue ourselves thanks.

Throughout the entire process of working with Lyons Davidson and in particular Kelly, I fell empowered, held and informed. She is gracious, compassionate, knowledgeable and efficient. My situation was overwhelming and difficult at times but I was assured and supported throughout the entire process. This was my first, and I hope will be my last legal interaction, however if I were to ever need counsel I would 1000% choose Lyon’s Davidson. Thank you for being so helpful.
