I was in a massive panic when I got in contact. Well amazing, Joshua Roderick took control and quickly put together a statement/ paperwork and show me the way forward and guided myself so could get my children away from there toxic mother and back in a safe place with me. The effect which Mr Roderick put into my case was fantastic. Mr Roderick also worked with myself to keep the costs as low as possible.

From my first contact, the firm showed little to no interest in helping. The initial call was nothing but dismissive, and was informed that they had been intructed by my insurers to look into the merits of my case, but with an undertone of annoyance, — I was treated like a third‑tier client. No questions asked, no advice given, zero guidance, other than we will contact you in five days.
There was zero communication after that: no updates, no replies to emails, and a promised five‑day response took nearly two weeks, arriving as what felt like an automated message with no empathy or explanation. They made no effort to understand my case or even call to explain their final decision.

When I later approached other law firms, all three said my case had clear merit and with proper representation — which only confirmed how poorly this firm handled things. Professionalism, communication, and compassion were completely missing from my experience.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with this company, specifically with the case handler assigned to me, From the very beginning, I felt the service was unprofessional and poorly managed. Communication was consistently an issue — I had to chase updates myself, ringing several times only to be put on hold and told I’d receive call-backs that never happened.
The documents for my case were not properly explained to me, and when I later checked them, several details had been entered incorrectly. I also informed that I had witnesses for my car incident, but in my experience, this was not handled properly. I was told not to worry, and when the court date came, the representative attending wasn’t even aware that witnesses existed. As a result, they couldn’t be used.
When I asked afterwards what happened, the explanation I received was that she “couldn’t get through to them,” and that she assumed they didn’t want to be involved. I was never told any of this at the time, and had I known, I could have contacted them myself or ensured alternative communication.
I feel that this lack of communication and follow-up had a major impact on the outcome of my case.
After losing the case, I raised my concerns immediately and was told it would be “sorted,” but I haven’t received any communication since. Based on my experience, I left feeling unsupported, frustrated, and extremely let down. I personally would not recommend this company, especially if you’re relying on them during a stressful situation.

Absolutely dreadful and totally inefficient. Complete time wasters they never respond takes ages and then you cant get a straight answer. Wasted ages gathering information, then gave a very and disappointing opinion. I will avoid them at all costs they useless there are much better legal advisors to use.

Thisis the second time this company have been used through my insurance and twice they have been
incapable of handing a clean cut case. they have caused more stress than needed and they will never talk directly to you, they have dismissed this case causeing us great expence to engage a proper scolicitor.

It has been a long hard slog to get what I was entitled too but to be fair Lyons Davidson did everything possible to in their power it was the third party although they admited liability before I even went to Lyons Davidson that have drawn out the process for 2 years and 2 months. Would use Lyon’s Davidson again

Review:
Lyons Davidson assessed my whistleblowing detriment claim under my Arc Legal policy. Unfortunately, the assessment contained multiple factual errors and missed key evidence that I had submitted weeks earlier.

They stated I had provided no examples of overpayments being concealed — despite me sending full details on 8 October, including several thousand pounds owed to clients, clients chasing refunds, and evidence no refunds had been issued.

They also stated I had not disclosed concerns externally, ignoring that ACAS advised me to do so and I reported to HMRC and the Insolvency Service on 15 October.

Their response to my review says I simply “didn’t like the advice,” but that is not the issue. The issue is that their assessment did not reflect the actual evidence I provided and appears to have been made without fully reviewing the documents.

I have now asked Arc Legal for a second opinion.

I hope this feedback helps other LEI customers know what to expect and encourages the firm to review evidence more thoroughly in future.

Three years on from my car accident the matter has still not been resolved despite the other party admitting full liability.
The case handler does not reply to my messages in a timely manner, never retinas my phone calls and seems to have a poor understanding of the facts of the case. He is continually losing documents which I them have to supply again - in some cases several times.
These people are useless - avoid

Following my accident I received clear advice on what action to take both in relation to my ongoing injuries and claim against the driver of the car that knocked me down. Throughout the claim process I was kept fully up to date and advised as to what was the most appropriate course of action to take to achieve a satisfactory outcome.
