The world has changed a lot since we established in 2004. And we have too. MacCredit started out in Sydney as a personal loans broker, specializing in sourcing suitable personal loans for medical and cosmetic purposes. Our offering of an easy and accessible finance option for often expensive medical procedures was well received by both patients and clinics alike. By 2016 we were assisting over 2,200 clinics in finding suitable loans for their clients whilst receiving an average of 20,000 applications annually. 2019 is a new chapter for MacCredit. As a broker we now provide Australian customers with assistance in sourcing personal loans for more than just medical and cosmetic reasons – helping with automotive and general personal loans as well!

I'm an overly cautious person.....
I'm an overly cautious person who has applied for loans and then changed my mind about going ahead with it - I am a cash-only kind of person. Applying with MacCredit started as a purely intellectual exercise as I was researching for someone else. When I completed the online form, then got a follow up sms, I decided to see where it would go and within a couple of days, had a lender with a good rate on an unsecured loan, then money in my account. It couldn't have been easier.

All of the paperwork was easily filled out on my phone. No scanning involved. I was kept well informed about what was happening and everyone I spoke to was very nice. There was no long phone ques. Overall it was a great experience!
