Misleading “Dedicated Mac” — Actually a Virtual Machine with Broken Graphics
I purchased a Mac Dedicated Server from MacinCloud expecting real Apple hardware, but what I received was clearly a virtualized macOS environment, not a physical Mac mini.
Important macOS features like Map rendering, wallpapers, and graphical elements do not work, exactly like when macOS runs inside VMware.
After checking the system details, the machine even displays:
“Welcome to the Virtual Machine”
and a firmware string starting with VMW — which indicates VMware virtualization.
This means the service was not providing a real dedicated Apple device as advertised.
For developers who need proper graphics rendering (Xcode, Maps, Photos, UI debugging, etc.), this setup is unusable. The performance and compatibility are nothing like a real Mac mini.
Very disappointed — the product is misrepresented, and I cannot recommend it unless they clearly state that “dedicated” machines are actually virtual machines.

MacInCloud is a must for testing software on different MacOS versions.
I used MacInCloud to test my desktop app "LogicPalet" on MacOS Sonoma, Sequoia, and Tahoe.

Overcharging from MacinCloud?
I used the $1 per hour pay as you go subscription and got charged $180 from my Paypal account for less than 5 hours work. I can't actually afford to absorb the money they charged.
UPDATE: MacinCloud have fully refunded my money without too much issue after I raised a dispute, which is great. They still maintain the charges were legitimate, which I disagree with, but I give them full credit for resolving this in my favour.
I have chosen to no longer use this service.

I purchased a weekly subscription and the MacinCloud said that a mail that includes server info will be send to my mail in 15 minutes. However, I’ve been checking my email for MORE THAN 2 HOURS. AT THIS POINT, THE CURRENT SITUATION CAN BE COUNTED AS A SCAM, I AM NOT RECEIVING THE SERVICE I PAID FOR. I would never recommend this to anyone with urgent work. The so-called support team is virtually non-existent, completely incompetent, and the entire service is nothing but a fraudulent scheme.

I recommend MacinCloud for developers who are looking to publish iOS apps from a Mac PC. I recommend choosing the Dedicated plan because it provides full Admin/Root Access.

I just started with this service for upgrading an existing app. It worked ok for 4 days. Slower than a real mac but ok for the money. Then I could not connect. Sent 'urgent' requests to Support. Got nothing but the automated response. Two days, not being able to connect. No idea what is going on.
Update: on the third day, problems were resolved. It just took much too long. Got a new macbook.

I have a managed server with no time limits for $44 — it constantly freezes and has an extremely slow connection.

It only starts working again after a reboot. But it’s impossible to reboot it automatically through the control panel — you have to send an explanation to support about why exactly you need to reboot it, and then they might also request additional information, like screenshots and error names, even though everything was already explained in the ticket — no connection. Ten minutes of initialization, and then it shuts down...
As a result, considering the additional requests from support, rebooting can take a huge amount of time.
Overall, this leaves a very unpleasant impression! But I have to use it for app development since I don’t have a Mac, and there aren’t many alternatives on the market.
I hope that more stable companies will appear in the near future.
It’s not normal when you can’t connect to the server in 30% of cases...
There is no support
There is no support. Server stopped responding. Subscription close to ending the only option is to renew subscription while waiting for tech support that takes four business months to restart a machine or start over.
Stay away, buy your own macbook it is way cheaper

They are scammers, I was facing issues with setting up my local environment in the platform, but it was refusing my actions due to permission issues even though I purchased root access, I reach out to them but kept telling me that the systems were working normally, I asked for a refund but they refused to give it to me, which is a big scam, also their systems are unusable in terms of speed

Super easy to setup and use. Very fast download from GitHub and very fast build and upload to TestFlight via the pre-installed Xcode. Everything just worked perfectly and the provided instructions were perfect.

Bad bad bad (and then ok)
Let's start from their pricing plans. The description of plans is very vague. You don't understand all specifications and you don't know if some options, like having sound on your server is not available on some plans.
Maybe this is the service primarily for IT service guys, but I am just a user who has limited knowledge about server specifications. So, would be nice to provide more detailed and easy to understand information for guys like me.
Then, the support. Not having an online chat in the 21st century? What a fun. And all the messages from their support are so generic, it seems that their goal is just to give a legally ok answer to you.
Not recommended.
UPDATE: Since I have posted this review, the customer support team has reached out and offered me a reimbursement of two last payments that were made automatically because I have forgotten to cancel the subscription. Yes, it was 100% my responsiblity to cancel the subscription, but I believe every company should be flexible about it because it is a bad market practice, not to send any reminders about an upcoming charge and then refuse to cancel the payment.
Even though I still believe that the customer experience on the website could be improved, I am changing my evaluation of my experience with the company since they did reach and tried to resolve all my issues.
