Vegas 21 una grandissima porcheria

Vegas 21 una grandissima porcheria, ma ancora peggio il servizio di MAGIX. Totalmente incompetenti e non in grado di risolvere il problema. Veramente una porcheria. Pur di far funzionare Vegas ho anche sostituito il computer, il risultato che Vegas 21 è praticamente inutilizzabile con Windows 11 e Nvidia 4090.

Aggiornamento, ho scritto all’indirizzo mail scritto sopra. E sapete cosa mi hanno risposto? Di aprire un nuovo ticket.

È veramente uno dei servizi peggiori al mondo. Ho trovato decine di alternative a pari o minor costo che però funzionano.

Questa la mia ultima risposta a MAGIX:

you wrote to me after leaving you a negative review on trustpilot. Now you tell me to reopen another case when in the previous one you stopped responding to me because you are incapable of providing a solution. I no longer want to have anything to do with incompetent people like you. Too bad I've been using Vegas for more than 10 years. Fortunately there are many alternatives.

I had an issue with registration and…

I had an issue with registration and customer service and support was very helpful in resolving the problem. The only thing I would suggest is to make easier access to finding the email prompt to communicate.

Beware of hiking prices and autorenewal

So, I'd written off the Magix software (Vegas movie) as a bad buy, because I couldn't get it to work. Then they auto renewed, charged twice the original price (last year's cost £75, this year £113) ! I emailed to cancel this ON THE SAME DAY OF RENEWAL and they claim I'm over the 14day cancellation period! Which is nonsense. I have disputed this with my bank. These guys are utter charlatans. Do not give them your time or bank details.

as soon as you take out a subscription with us, you will receive an order confirmation which will describe exactly what will happen if you don't cancel and will also tell you the cancellation period.

In addition, we again inform our customers 6 weeks before the renewal.
We also point out how much it will cost for the first month and then from the 13th month onwards.

I recently had occasion to attempt to try and use Magix software support for the Vegas 18 product which I have had just 3 years. My laptop had updated to Win11 and because of this they said 18 was a legacy product and they were not in the slightest bit interested in helping me.. they initially told me to buy a very expensive update! I refused to accept this and kept pressuring them ... and after I attempted a re-install that completely failed, they finally agreed to assist.. but they were not much help and I had to fix it myself in the end spending endless hours researching and also finally getting a bit of luck on noticing what Win11 was doing differently with system updates. It turns out that my rendering failure problem had been common on all versions of Vegas across all Win platforms since about 2015!!... and they had done absolutely nothing about it! The support person either did not know the common failure details of his own product.. or did not care! I had been using Vegas since Version 6 in the early 2000's... Magix are an appalling company who have ruined what was a solid and reliable product before they bought it from Sony after version 13. DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMENDED don't use it .. get Power Director instead....much better value for money and reliable!

In your case, the VEGAS Pro 18 version is compatible with Windows 10, which is also indicated when you purchase the program.
Please understand that we can't make all older programs compatible with the new operating systems.

Magix The ABSOLUTE WORST

Magix is one of the worst software companies I have ever had the misery to deal with.
On a new laptop I installed Magix Movie Edit Premium but the program wouldn't import MP4 video files without first buying and installing a codec. (Imagine a video editing suite that won't accept one of the most popular video file formats!!)
The paid codec activation was received via email but wouldn't work.
Support told me it was because the 2020 version of Magix installed (and otherwise fully functional) was not compatible with Windows 11.
I have had no such issues with software dating back 10 years on Windows 11.
So I spent two days trying to download a trial version of Magix Video editor 2024. TWO DAYS to download a program with constant fails.
Finally installed it had to be activated! I requested a trial activation by email. Copy/Pasted and.....it didn't work. An activation for their very own 2024 trail version failed.
I give up. NEVER EVER AGAIN!
If you want to go half-mad with frustration and despair.....buy a Magix product!!

Thank you for your rating.

Your programme version from 2019 is no longer compatible with Windows 11. This does not mean that nothing will work at all, but rather that the programme will have limitations, for example when burning or activating codecs.

Unfortunately, we cannot reproduce the problems with the test version. Screenshots would be helpful here.

WARNING! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS COMPANY

So Trustpilot ask us to play nice, even if the company in question don't care at all. I will ask you to read between the lines because they don't deserve any of my respect.

Magix Music Maker it's probably the easiest DAW to learn for a beginner. BUT, every single day i encounter a technical issue with this software.
In only 1 month i needed assistance from MMM Forum at least 5 times. (Because E-mail support doesn't care).

Their philosophy is that problems come from our equipment, such as our audio device, or the loops we buy outside their website. It's never come from them.

Recently: I was subscribed to Unlimited Loops subscription.
I had like 3-4 automated e-mail from them saying they we're trying to take my money to renewed the subscription, and every time i e-mailed them back to tell that i didn't wanted to continue the subscription. (Someone even answered me that the subscription was successfully canceled). AND I HAVE PROOF ( in french)

Some days ago, they've successfully took my money without my consent and as soon as i saw that, i sent another e-mail to ask for a refund. (They have replied to this e-mail the 1st business hour of Monday) saying to me:
''We require one day notice before the subscription renewal date to process a cancellation. As we did not receive notice, the subscription was extended for an additional contract period. A refund for this extension is not possible.''

BUT I SENT THEM 3 OR 4 E-MAIL LIKE I SAID BEFORE.
They gave me every reason to not buy anything from them anymore. I recommend you don't buy anything from them either.

Magix excellent technical support

Hello,

I had a problem with a video editor. I sent an e-mail to Magix technical service and in 20 minutes I got a respond by someone from Magix and we fixed the problem. I think what makes a company reliable is their service and, in my experience, Magix as an excellent service that goes hand in hand with their products. I would recommend Magix products to everyone.

Horrible

Horrible.
Keeps freezing after a few minutes. If you already have it: keep saving every few seconds on a large scale workstation.

They sell you a rather expensive software that basically ceases to work when they want to sell you the next year's expensive update (for almost the price of the new one).

You can't even decide what you say here, so I had to short down my review.

Don't buy, it's a terrible program !

Magix video software stops working…

Magix video software stops working after a year. It appears they build in bugs so you have to upgrade.
Very unprofessional and fraudulent. I’m done with this company.

Contacted the help service online, Magix got back to my original email within 5 mins of sending the email and managed to resolve my issue. Very impressed with the level of service and the speed in which it was sorted A*. Love service like this, well done

Effective and efficient

It took me a while to find the email address to contact customer service but once I did, they were amazing! Quick, responsive, efficient and willing to help! I was so pleased how they solved my problem effectively and efficiently!

I ordered a version of Sound Forge from…

I ordered a version of Sound Forge from Magix as Sony no longer supplies this great program which I've used for many years on previous computers. Magix sent me something completely different, a program for budding composers. They refused to admit it was not Sound Forge, and after some time I gave up arguing with them and deleted the program. This was a couple of years ago, but I haven't forgotten.

Upgrade or earlier programme version

I had a fairly early CD version of the PhotoStory programme which I had used for some considerable time but had recently upgraded my PC and changed my e-mail address for registering onto this new PC. I sent a mail outlining my request and was dealt with almost immediately and with the utmost courtesy and professionalism. My programme is now up and running due to this excellent support.

Magix is a very special software developed and supported by a special team of people. I continue to enjoy the process of mixing or writing music. The tools are powerful and the available sounds are beautiful. Also, if I ever have a problem, the Support and Sales teams take care of me. I just recommend this company if you are a serious artist.

I purchased an upgrade option that…Purchased a product and did not receive all of it.

Revised update. I checked my emails and no luck. I will send a request to support with my email. Possibly the email is incorrect.

I purchased an upgrade option that included extras called Essentials 5 Ultimate. I did not get the serial numbers, but I did get some of them after time. I am still missing two of the serial numbers and support has stoped responding or aoffering to give me the last two serial numbers for the product that I ordered. I want to use the product, as I have been a customer from the time of the free version. But i can't trust them to deliver. My options are to reverse the charge and chnge product or live with being cheated.
