Blocked account for no reason
I signed up for a mail.com account, then signed up for an Instagram account. Used my mail.com account as my email which was all fine. Then a few days later mail.com blocked my account for a security breach, they will not tell me why, just that their security team took a decision and they cannot give me any more information. Now I can´t even log in to my instagram account because they are sending the code to my mail.com account. Absolute joke of an email company.
Signed up and then locked out
Signed up, used it for my son's a job application, received a link to do an assessment for a job, and then the account was immediately blocked, so job opportunity for my son was lost. Don't create an email account with them as they seem to lock many of the accounts and cause grieve to people. I guess it's a rubbish scam company.
Mail.com is the best free email there is!
I like that I can choose my email addy to something more personalized. I have never had any problems with my mail.com acct even if I've been gone for months on end. I ~never~ get any spam emails nor any unsolicited advertisements.
DON'T USE IT
DON'T USE IT. Basically, they reserve the right to delete your email for inactivity if you haven't used it for a long time (6 months), without warning. And if you've made the mistake of linking this email to other accounts, you're stuck and have no possibilities to recreate an email account with the same name. Honestly, there are many better alternatives than something that lets you down like this.

I registered a mail account and have been using it for nearly two years. Since my mobile phone number has not been used anymore and cannot be retrieved, but I have always been able to use it normally on the APP and couldn't log in to the browser. So I sent an email to seek their help, but they directly banned my account based on this. To be honest, I haven't seen any enterprise act like this before. A user came to you for help and was banned for no reason. I can guarantee that my account is definitely being used normally and there is no violation of any rules. And they said I haven't logged in for six months. They are lying. I have logged in to the APP many times in the past six months. Before contacting them again, I even sent an Email. It's a very absurd behavior.

Avoid at all costs
Avoid at all costs. I set up and email address here for my small business, I also associated all my banking accounts for the new business to this email address. Suddenly when I log in I have completely empty folders and don't get any emails even though I have sent myself some from another address and they all come up sent. Contacted the mail.com team for help as I'm not even getting the emails from the back for 2 factor authentication to access my accounts. No response so far. Don't use this company and stick with the reputable companies for email like outlook, Google or yahoo.

I have been a customer for years even premium but when I paid for the upgrade I didn't know just what I was paying for! I thought it was security but I got was hacked, ignored and locked out of my own account and 100gb of my personal information like birth certificate tax docs and most importantly my un replaceable family treasured photos and home movies. Having had my grand father's pass away recently and the family knowing I am the picture natzi who always has 7000 photos it's an obsession so most leave it me so after a nerves break down at both funeral with only 2 pics of them alive I was disgusted that the phone number that was changed on my account could not be changed to my new number. I lost my phone in a car accident as it was shattered and having hubby still intensive care and needing insurance and medical documents just not being able to pick up the phone and get the verification number changed has left me disgusted furious and distraught. You cant even read an email without intrusive pop up Temu ads all across your email. Its just ridiculous. Ive gone elsewhere. Seriously, every minute an ad pops up over the email youre either trying to read or write. Just a joke. Find another service.

Locked out of their email account, and the reset password facility does not work. There seems to be no way around this. You just go around in circles. There doesn't seem to be any contact email address or phone number and the chat function is useless. Great when it works. Rubbish when it fails.

Blocked after 1 day for no good reason
Extremely difficult to sign up. Half the time their little "prove you are a human" tests did nothing, they wouldn't move or respond to my inputs.
Once I (finally) got signed up, it looked like a nice interface and I was really excited to use it. I sent out about 20 emails to my contacts informing them of my new email address. I also started redirecting some of my other email accounts to my new address, then mail.com BLOCKED my account for "unusual activity"! What use is an email account if I can't even send emails telling people about my new email address?
I was ready to purchase the premium account, but nope, I'm blocked, and they shut everything down after denying my appeal.
This company can't stand prosperity and should be avoided at all costs.
