Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many people were dissatisfied with the delivery service, citing significant issues with slow delivery, poor tracking, and packages sitting in facilities for extended periods. Customers frequently reported lost packages and delays, with some stating their items were "out for delivery" for weeks. Reviewers also found the customer service unhelpful, noting a lack of coordination between the shipping service and the postal service, which led to packages being returned or untraceable. Some consumers mentioned issues with package labeling and unexpected additional charges to receive their items.

They are HORRIBLE

They are HORRIBLE! UPS will not be able or willing to help and the USPS can't because your packages never are received by them. All UPS does is refer you back to the seller, IF you are able to speak to anyone, it is a MIRACLE and then they are still not able to help.
This is NOT a system that works, they do not take any responsibility for losing packages.

Mail innovations is a complete joke

Mail innovations is a complete joke. I cannot understand or respect why on earth any reputable retailer would ever put their customers through this insanity. Same experience as all others tracking shows sitting at local post office for weeks then it ships out of state bounces around for weeks at different usps facilities. No one is accountable no real updates provided. I will never order from any business that uses this god awful service again and will be demanding a full and immediate refund on all 6 of my packages that are floating around the country for weeks on end

My online order has gone into a black…

My online order has gone into a black hole... based on tracking info the package has now been sitting in same location for past 77 hours... 120 miles away from me.

I echo all other reviews... especially wishing I could identify companies that use Mail Innovations so I could avoid ordering from such companies.

Not good at all

My order from Zazzle has been (according to the tracking) in my post office, some half a mile away, for two days now. Really? These are Christmas cards that needed to go out yesterday. Getting in line this time of year to sort this out is beyond crazy. This arrangement with UPS and the USPS is not working.

The worst shipping service

I echo all the other one-star reviews. This is the worst service ever conceived of. Packages go into a black hole with a status of "acceptance pending" at the post office for weeks at a time but they aren't actually in the post office! I asked someone at the post office to check. So, where are they? In a UPS truck gathering moss? Dumped in a ditch? The only thing you can do is wait 3 weeks and tell the merchant they need to ship another item, which I am doing tomorrow. I think most of my holiday gifts will not arrive in time at this point. Thanks for nothing "Innovations" and the clueless merchants that use your service! Whoever is responsible for this service should be ashamed of themselves but I doubt such a person is capable of that.

Zero Stars

Zero Stars.

I'd rather get teeth pulled with pliers than deal with this place. GLACIALLY SLOW.

I've never had a good experience when this place was involved. I try to avoid having to deal with them at all costs.

I've never gotten things from them multiple times and have had to deal with that headache. I've had things arrive afterwards a month later after I canceled the whole thing. I have had them beat the hell out of fragile PC equipment and have had to deal with that headache. I have had time sensitive items never arrive or come weeks later.

Expect your shipment to sit here for weeks.

UPS mail innovation is a Horrible…

UPS mail innovation is a Horrible service. Multiple packages get lost between UPS and USPS handing it off. Neither one wants to take credit for losing packages. Just want to blame each other.
I then called UPS and had the worst CS experience and that is saying something these days. Hung up on 3 times before they tell me nothing can be done unless I am the shipper.

Unbelievable

This service may have been considered “innovative” in the 1890s, but a 1-legged ice skater would be more efficient today, even skating on bare ground.

Tracking is back; out of the black hole

Delivery #1 -JC Penny- when they eventually tried to deliver discovered STREET/# missing from address. The 3rd CS Rep ..understood the problem-entered address in 2 minutes. Not sure who to credit with that screw-up.

Delivery #2 - Placed order w/ MACY'S Nov 28th. my order still says "Expect delivery DEC 3rd"
Don't get me wrong, not fan of this carrier HOWEVER - MACY'S is (BADwording) me.
Received tracking #. Link was to UPS.
And then it dumps you in a black hole.

Personally, I'm annoyed that MAJOR RETAIL chains
are using this provider who can't fulfill the clearly stated 3-6 day shipping policy.
This is probably the most annoying part of the service - the black hole. ABSOLUTELY no info - no tracking and retailer's suggestion is wait until it's delivered.
FYI still waiting for delivery #2

Mailinnovations may realize an "address" is required for delivery. If the business grows (volume) delivery speed may increase. FAST SERVICE is not their business model.

Every...single...package...lost or delayed

I have had three different packages delivered through Mail Innovations sit for weeks on end at a facility not 20 miles from my home. My wife has been waiting on a package since early November (it is December 7 as of the writing of this review) UPS seems to lose the tracking numbers of every package delivered through this provider. Everything send through Mail Innovations gets delayed for weeks or gets lost outright. As customers, we need to boycott companies that use this service and hold them accountable.

No reasonable tracking mechanism

No reasonable tracking mechanism. Package is stuck for days in a nearby state. Arriving days late if ever. This is the most archaic useless delivery service I have ever used. What a disaster.

How can you avoid MI

I wish companies would advrtise that they use mail innovations so I could avoid them. There is no way that a package should take so long for delivery within the US. USPS cried because UPS was getting more business and this was the resolution and USPS is still raising their rates.

UPS MI falsely using Bound Printed Matter USPS labels

I looked into these super slow hand offs between UPS MI and USPS and found one major problem at least for my shipment. UPS is creating a USPS Label using the super cheap "Bound Printed Matter" shipping class intended for books and magazines Can not be used for jewelry or any other small item that does not qualify for Bound Printed Matter. This is outright fraud. Bound Printed Matter has a shipping estimate of 10 to 30 days. So it just sits at the post office until they finally get to it as lowest of low priority. Not even an acceptance scan. Then, if USPS decides to open the package because it does not look like printed matter they can detain it indefinitely until UPS pays the full shipping charge for 1st class. It could also be damaged or lost when the package is inspected. Pitiful.

This is the absolute worst service…

This is the absolute worst service available in the United States. I believe UPS and the USPS said let's see if we can make our services even worse than what they are. You cannot talk to a person you can't resolve an issue You're probably going to lose your package if it goes to this service.

incompetent, ineffective, inefficient garbage meddling middlemen

"UPS Mail Innovations is a high-volume mailing service provider offering an efficient and effective way of delivering your mail." They're so efficient my package arrives at my local post office, blocks away from my house, but instead of being delivered to my house it is then put on a different truck, shipped cities away to another sorting facility, only to be redelivered to my local post office days later. This is as efficient and effective as snorting ivermectin for covid, and no doubt instituted by the same kind of people. Every time I see Mail Innovations on a tracking order I know it is going to be a s*** show.

UPS MAIL INNOVATIONS IS THE WORST

UPS Mail Innovations is the worst way to send anything. They are very slow and it takes days to get an order. I placed an order with Amazon 10/4/22 which was shipped 10/6/22. This is 10/13/22 and I still have not received this order.

the only company i know using MI for…

the only company i know using MI for things i order is crucial memory. this is the third time where an order from china on the same day arrives faster than an order from the same time zone in the same country via MI. like others say, its been sitting in my city for nearly a week waiting for whatever approval. i have also made 2 orders from amazon and the items have arrived and already in use.

Worst excuse for a delivery company…

Worst excuse for a delivery company that I've ever seen. I don't know why amazon and others use this place but I've stopped using amazon because of it.
They claimed to have tried to deliver an item at a time when I was home but never did. Where did this company come from?

Mail Innovations is unnecessarily slow.

Mail Innovations takes longer than standard mail. Even if your packages are 1hr away - They will sit in their processing facility for 1-2 weeks or more. If you can have your items sent to another facility, for $20 a year or so, it's worth it.
