while the fabric has stretch, the waist band does not. These were too tight in the waist, cant wear them

I ordered a custom suit, a dress shirt and a pair of chino jeans. The suit did not fit at all- was like a bag around my chest and pants were loose. They said , I did not provide them with body measurement but from a garment. Which was true - but it should not be out of shape. Also - none of the customizations that I paid for was on the jacket ( eg. pick stich and initials on the inside).
The dress shirt fit Ok but the quality of the material is not good.
The chino jeans was not shipped and then they said material was not available.
I routinely have custom clothing from other online companies and the have all been very good - I thought I would try Make your own jeans, as the options looked quite a bit more and the price was low. Well yo get what you pay for I guess. Will never purchase from this site again.

I ordered a pair of trousers with stretch material there were delivered and there is no stretch i the material. This has hapoped before with Jeans but I have also had positive experience with other orders. i would like to keep using this company but I am not sure I can. I am waiting to see what they will do to resolve. I have lodged a complaint today.

Beautiful shirt, beautiful color there is some black stitching in several spots to the shirt that sticks out and there’s no care instructions. I mean it’s cotton, but it should say how you should wash it so you don’t ruin it after spending $60 on a shirt.

It has been almost two months since placing my order, and my jeans have not yet shipped, and it's possible they haven't even been made. As a customer of five years, I am disappointed with this experience.

Horrific experience. I felt good making a purchase when they said you can get a free make over if you are unhappy. Well read the fine print. They have zero customer service support and I felt scammed. I actually gave the jeans to charity.

Have been a satisfied customer for years but recently the service has deteriorated. Last pair of trousers were too short and customer service refused to believe my issue. Time to shop elsewhere.

I think you guys do a good job with the sewing. The problem is that somehow the pants and jackets never fit right and there is no way to communicate to you about what was wrong with the size so that it can be corrected on the next order.

Have been ordering my pants from makeyourownjeans.com over ten years and have always been happy with them. I’m 4’8” and on the fluffy side and was never able to find jeans that fit me until I discovered this company.

Just ordered a Harris tweed jacket. In fairness the cloth is good, but despite being given the opportunity to supply my own measurements they still got it wrong. Add to that they machined a buttonhole to the lapel with no hole in it!
Thankfully I was able to hand it over to a tailor locally to correct the errors, but that is added cost to me.
I complained and was offered a credit voucher against a further order. That is one credit voucher that will never be used.
My first order with them - my last order with them!

I have used them many times and will continue to buy their clothes.

Really bad experience, I ordered a linen jacket in Size 52L. This is my regular size.

When it arrived, I could fit two persons into that jacket. Respons from the company was that it was correct measurement?? And I could get a discount on next order..

I ordered some five pocket pants and they were way off my actual size.

No one has contacted me after this event. I contact them with no response.

I was hesitant to order semi-custom jeans online, but I'm happy to report I was very impressed! The quality of the jeans was excellent, and the fit was almost perfect – 98% there. The only issue was the length – they were a bit shorter than I typically wear. This was entirely my fault, though, as I must have misjudged the measurements during the ordering process.

On the plus side, shipping was fast and I could easily track the progress of my order. Overall, I had a positive experience and would definitely consider ordering from them again.

Overall happy with the whole experience. Product is good and well made to a good standard. Measurements are as stated. Only issue was that order took longer than expected. Had to get in touch after around three weeks and was told there had been an issue and they would put it through again. In fairness, once I contacted them this was actioned.

This company's unique selling point offered so much promise. The ability to send them your measurements, and have them make you a pair of jeans exactly as you want, tailored to your exact specifications - and for a very reasonable price. Great!

What a shame that they don't deliver on what they offer.

I ordered a pair of jeans from them, with the intention of trying to get the perfect measurements for my size. When they arrived, it seemed like I hadn't got it right. No issue, I decided to order another pair, to get it a bit closer to perfection. And then when the second pair arrived, it seemed like I have over-corrected my measurements, and got them not quite perfect again. And so I tried again. And again.

It was only after spending money on four pairs of jeans that I realized something was wrong - why did I apparently keep getting the measurements wrong?? So I started an email exchange with the company.

Erica, from their customer services, admitted that they added a 'loosening allowance' to the measurements customers gave them, and so I asked them to tell me EXACTLY to what specification they had made each of the four pairs of jeans I had ordered. To my amazement, it turned out that they had been deviating from the measurements I had given them every time! An inch here, an inch there, sometimes making them longer then I asked for, sometimes bigger, sometimes shorter. sometimes slimmer. And in totally unpredictable ways - it was quite shocking to see the wild variance in their changes! At no point had they ever actually made the jeans that I had ordered!

When I highlighted this to Erica, she tried blaming me, and telling me it was my fault. When I asked her what Makeyourownjeans proposed to do about the fact that they had taken a lot of money from me and not fulfilled any of my orders, she just ignored my emails.

Terrible customer service - they take your money, make rubbish products and then try to blame you for their incompetence!

It's a real shame - if Makeyourownjeans actually deliverded what they promised, I would probably keep on making orders from them! And based on the reviews here, it seems like lots of other people would also.

Instead, I sincerely recommend you AVOID this lying, scamming, incompetent company.

I ordered two pairs of pants and one shirt.
I only received one of the pairs of pants.

I like purchasing from MakeYourOwn Jeans. They make a good quality product made to my specifications for a reasonable price.

Easily the best pair of jeans I have ever owned, exceptionally good quality. The fit is great, too, much better than mass-produced jeans. I also had a great experience with the personnel because I was having trouble utilizing a gift certificate. They were able to solve the problem and manually apply the credit. I now consider Makeyourown jeans my only source for all my future jeans purchases, and I'm considering a custom leather jacket, as well.
