I have used Makeyourownjeans.com for several years now. I have shorter legs, larger hips and smaller waist - very hard to find jeans that fit, and they always had a large gap in the back waistline. It's a little hard to figure out exactly what to order. I tried a couple different jean types and settled on the body sucker jeans. They are a lighter weight stretch jean and quite soft, but still look like jeans and not leggings.

The first jeans I ordered fit better than any store jeans, but I have tweaked the measurements several times since then and the fit has gotten even better. I often receive my jeans in 3-4 weeks.

You may have to spend some money upfront to find the jeans you like, but once you do, it's just great to have jeans that fit well!

I did have one order where the jeans were a couple inches longer than they should have been. They gave me a partial credit on a gift certificate toward a future order. It was almost enough to pay to have the jeans shortened.

After ordering and receiving info my order was into production I received an email stating the material was sold out. After multiple emails with employees I followed instructions in choosing a different make and color. Every time I sent my selection I would get told something was wrong and I needed to for example choose a color. I would follow directions and have the same issue again. I asked for a full refund because I was canceling my order. As of 4/12/24 I have not received my refund.

At this point I would give this operator no stars as I'm in discussion with them to apply their promised discount on an order to replace one that arrived with a skin tight fit, zero comfort. Though they initially promised a 50% discount to re-order last week, now they tell me I will earn a gift certificate for a 3rd order. Who does that? At any rate, I will be pro-active in writing reviews if this is not addressed to the initial promise of 50% discount to re-order.

The jeans were supposed to be 32 and they were 29, because they are stretch I can get them on I hope they don't srink. The legs were baggy and were supposed to be skinney. I have had to alter them. I have difficulty getting jeans to fit so I thought custom made was the answer but not to be.

The process from start to finish was much quicker than I thought it would be and the quality, plus construction are excellent. The first pair that I received, the measurement was slightly off and they immediately made me another pair without hesitation that fit perfectly. I will be getting all of my jeans made here moving forward and recommend you do the same.

I placed an order for a jeans on Feb. 25 - as of now (April,01) I have neither received my pants nor any shipping info. The only email replies I got when I contacted them was "... your jeans is in production, we will notify the production departement ... ". I'm wondering, if they really produce garments. Update:
By April 05 I recieved my jeans. I can now truly say: It's been an education! I have learned: 1. MYOJ take their time. 2. The measurements I gave them do not really match up with the measurements of the finished jeans (it arrived far too baggy. I have it altered to my fit by a local taylor here). 3. Not only did I have to pay 15 € in customs duty, but another 15 € in "commision" - this added another 30€ to the price of the jeans..... As the saying goes: You can make a mistake one time, only fools make the same mistake twice.

Do not use this company. I have sewn all of my life and know my way around a measuring tape. I took my measurements meticulously, and the jeans arrived too small. They haggled with me constantly my email until I put a hold on their payment through my credit card. They would not refund my money, so I paid for a worthless pair of jeans. Not cheap, either.

I ordered the jeans with the measurements they asked for and i received a pair of jeans that fit me perfectly, until i washed them. i lost about 0.5 inches in the leg length from washing them. I recommend that you add an extra half inch to the length of leg due to shrinkage .

The color and texture of the fabric is wonderful. The challenge is to get the size profile right. I missed on my first pair of corduroys but I loved the product so much, I changed my profile and ordered another pair. When I get the profile perfect, this will be my go to company for slacks and pants.

I have been making my own jeans for years now and I tell everyone who compliments my cloths (which happens often) where to get their own. Considering the high quality and longevity as well as reasonable pricing that I get from make your own jeans I will never buy off the rack again and I haven't in years.

May have been partially my measurements, but the end result is basically anatomically not possible. Well, lesson learned. Seems like a good idea and to be fair I didn’t contact the company to return them as it is in Mumbai. Also didn’t realize this when I ordered. So between the UPS charges and duty I have a $150 pc of material. Maybe I’ll make it into a back pack?

This company delivered everything they promised. I opted to order the "Fit Guarantee" jeans and ended up needing a remake due to my not-quite-accurate measurement-taking. It was the simplest process and the second pair that came fit me like a glove. I love the jeans and I will definitely order from them again. A pleasure to do business with.

Ordering is so simple, especially with the customization options. This is my second purchase from this site, the first one went off without a hitch and culminated with a beautiful pair of pants that I received complements in my first night wearing them.

I was a loyal customer for more than 10 years and have always been very pleased with the quality of their products, but this most recent order was a disaster and they won't make it right. The shorts are 4 inches smaller in the waist than what I ordered. i tried to communicate, but they won't listen.
I wlll not be ordering again. Shame.

I have ordered a several pairs of jeans and have had no problems at all. The craftsmanship and customer service is very good. Highly recommended.

This is my 3rd order, The jeans are of high quality and the material does not shrink. The fit is precise and the selection of materials and other customizations is great.
