Jeans length was 3 percent longer than requested. Spoilt an otherwise good experience. Have been offered a $25 voucher to next order. This does not fix my current problem.

Well deserved five stars
I am ordering from Makeyourownjeans.com for seventeen years, and never been disappointed.
Good service, quality materials, top notch craftsmanship.
Perfect fit nice fabric
Excellent customer service
Excellent customer service. 100% recommended.
speedy delivery, fits as expected
The jeans I ordered was produced and delivered on a surprisingly short timescale. The fit is good, but not perfect. However, I blame that on my measurements being slightly off and I'll adjust them accordingly on my next order.
Rubbish service & Custommer support
You've given my Daughter a disgusting service after I recommened you, my order took over time & because of this I will NOT be using you or recommending you again.

I think the work they do is great and I’m very happy with their overall craftsmanship and products. I wish that when I find a fabric that I like that it would be available to make another pair, but they usually have moved onto a new fabric, so it’s back to trial and Error.
Buyer beware
This was the third pair I've bought from this company. The first pair fit really well after a few washes. The second pair was a different denim. They didn't shrink much at all and were a little long and loose in the seat. Thinking I had the measurements figured out, I tweaked my profile and ordered a third pair. They actually came in baggier in the seat (plenty of room for an adult diaper if needed) and two full inches too long. I sent a photo with a measuring tape showing that the length was a full 2 inches longer than I had ordered. They won't take the jeans back and give me a refund. They want me to take a complete photo array showing every measurement and then they will make me a new pair for half price. They sent me a defective product and want me to pay an additional 50% for a replacement. What if the replacement is bad? Another 50%? 25%? I tried this company because I'm hard to fit. I'm 5'3" tall and 115 pounds. Two inches in length is a lot on my frame. I'm sure they can make a great pair of jeans. Just be forewarned. If they screw up, the customer pays the price.
After my review, they emailed me asking for another photo with a tailor's measuring tape. With the tailor's tape following the seam, the jeans were about 3 inches longer than I ordered. I'm a short, slim old man. They bunch up to my knees. I sent them a couple photos a week and a half ago and haven't heard a word since. They cannot be trusted.
As long as you give the correct…
As long as you give the correct measurements, you will get what you want. You are given many options to choose from in regard to color, style, stretch or non stretch, stitching, etc. I am very happy with the pants I ordered and I highly recommend this company.
Poor quality control, poor customer service
I recently ordered 3 shirts sent with specific measurements based on existing shirts I owned. When they arrived the measurements did not match. I was fobbed off with: "the difference is only minor"; "you are using the wrong type of tape measure"; "an oversight by our designer..." etc. No apology, no refund, no offer to remake the clothes despite the returns policy stating "If our measurements differ from what you submitted we will replace the jeans/garment with a new one absolutely free of charge..."
These type of companies seem to have very poor quality control so it becomes a bit of a lottery that you will actually receive what you ordered. Then to make matters worse it is impossible to get a refund or replacement despite the "guarantees" on the website. I just do not understand how these companies survive with this business model. Surely it would be better to charge a little bit more, improve quality control, improve customer service and actually keep your customers for repeat business?
I would advise you NOT to use this company which is based in India, you will only end up disappointed.
One satisfied customer
So, I ordered my jeans after which I looked for some reviews (I know!)
Oh dear, I thought. have I made a mistake?
Well, they arrived 2 weeks after being ordered and as far as I can see they are exactly what I ordered and great value.
Many people seem to have had problems with fit and I can only say that I measured a pair of jeans I was happy with, made some slight adjustments, and they are just right. I'm not sure I would have felt confident just measuring myself then specifying the type of fit and I think that's where there have been some problems with some of the dissatisfied customers.
I haven't had the need to get in touch with customer service so can't comment on that.
All in all a very satisfied customer.
If I was to leave just one suggestion it would be to specify the size of the iPhone pocket as iPhones are all of different sizes!
Don’t fit
Despite having two separate, experienced tailors take my measurements, the jeans were way too big. And they wanted to charge me more money to even consider altering them. Don’t waste your money or your time.
Some fit, some don't...
I already own nearly a dozen trousers/jeans made by MYOJ. Some of them fit and some don't, but I can wear all of them. The not fitting I wouldn't blame the taylor but me not reading the exact description of the jeans chosen. 'Skinny' fits skinny and is not advisable to have done with a non-stretch fabric...
Lately I gave not my body measures but the measures of an old perfectly fitting jeans (fix measurement) - et voilà: it couldn't fit better.
Loose fit is rather baggy, so try a different type of cut if you want it snug.
I received my custom “jeans” today and…
I received my custom “jeans” today and received a pair of leggings (yoga pants) with a denim print. These were three sizes too small and very poorly tailored. I reached out to customer service and they told me to basically eat sh@t. Do not spend money here!!!!!
They were everything I could have…
They were everything I could have wished for. Understand, getting people to clearly communicate exactly what they anticipate in a preference fit is very hard. MYOJ asked for clarification. Part shipped order to verify, then sent rest of order, bravo! It is not for those who can’t read between the lines.
Buyer beware
I ordered 2 pairs of jeans from MYOJ. The first pair arrived, they looked and fit great, so I told them go ahead and make the second pair. When the second pair arrived, the had the same great fit and the quality was good, except the first time I wore them the top button popped off. I wrote to the company to ask for their guidance on how to get the button replaced. I was contacted by "Dwayne" (obviously a fake name), who treated me like I did something wrong, asked for pictures and then ignored me. I wrote again and "Dwayne" said they would send a new button, which I could pay to get installed out of my own pocket. Waited a month and wrote again, where is my button? "Dwayne" again, oh, you have to buy something else from us and we will send the button with that order. Why? MYOJ is a bunch of scammers, I don't know what's up with this bunch of clowns but I have no recourse. I'm simply out $100 and have an unwearable pair of jeans. Please, don't buy from this scam company.
Third pair of jeans and they are great
Third pair of jeans and they are great, just like the prior ones. I lost 30 pounds since my last two and these jeans are perfect with the new measurements that I provided. I ordered a summer weight and they are perfect. The price is very reasonable as well.
Jeans arrived and are terrible
Jeans arrived and are terrible, way too big around waist and legs, clearly the custom measurements are not used. Complained and was asked to send pictures which I did alongside pictures of jeans that fit well. Heard nothing back so followed up with Dwayne again only to be asked for pictures again. Save your money but if you’re brave, save the measurements you submit so you can check them. Very poor product in terms of fit, not custom otherwise they would fit, appalling aftercare service. Avoid.
I will never buy from MYOJ again
I will never buy from MYOJ again. Took months for jeans to arrive which I put down to COVID. Material failed after 2 months and minimal wear. Sent pictures to MYOJ in April who said they would follow up. Chased up months later in July only to be told that warranty was 12 days. They then offered a 50% discount on next pair. Avoid as poor quality and atrocious customer service.
