mamedica back to being utterly useless. now three months waiting to book in a person i care for.
lost our medical records 5 TIMES,
then cancelled appointment withput telling us....half an hour on the phone and still not even read the medical records ...despite my asking them to check when i emailed them 3 more times and they didnt even bother to reply. the worst service i have experienced from a doctors in my life...should lose licence for this kind of mess.
ADDING TO THIS AFTER THE REPLY....this was the only contact the mamedica clinic bothered to make.
to be clear the pharmacy is nothing to do with the clinic and gets a 5/5 mark.
the clinic is hopeless and gets a 1/5.
still no reply still not contacted us re the cancelled appointment and the 6 uploads of medical records.
mamedica clinic posting on here and not actioning any actual help is why they always get a 1/5 rating.
they should close the clinic, fire all the staff and reopen the whole operation in essex where the pharmacy team are always great and helpful.

My first time entering the world of medical cannabis and at 53 I felt somewhat out of my depth. Following the psych appointment I was cleared to continue and it was here it all broke down a bit. I needn’t have worried as a call to the number, #3 and I speak to a great chap called Callum Dublin. Suddenly it all made sense and he assisted me when I explained what I was wanting to achieve. Couldn’t have asked for more. Legend.

I recently transferred to this clinic and they made the transition very easy and straightforward. All of the staff I have dealt with have been friendly and professional and have made sure any issues or worries have been dealt with very promptly. I highly recommend this clinic as the staff are fantastic and the choice of medical cannabis is vast, not to mention the great quality. The turn around time on prescriptions are fast so you’re not sat waiting wondering if anything is happening. Many thanks

Would strongly avoid !!!
I experienced a serious dispensing error in which I was supplied with cannabis oil intended for oral use but was given instructions to vape it. Acting on those instructions, I used the oil in this way for approximately two months and had a very unpleasant experience. I later discovered that the product was formulated for oral use only and was not intended for inhalation. I am deeply concerned that I was given incorrect clinical advice and that this error may have placed my health at risk.
As a cancer patient, this error had a significant impact on both my physical and mental wellbeing. The experience caused me considerable distress and anxiety.
It has also affected my confidence in the care and advice I received, leaving me concerned about the potential consequences of following incorrect clinical instructions for such an extended period.
Following my initial report of the incident, I was advised that a senior pharmacist would contact me to discuss what had happened. However, I never received that call. I was left with the impression that my concerns were not being taken seriously and that there was little interest in investigating the matter until I submitted a formal complaint. Passed my details to mamedica but no response . Joke company All they want is your MONEY

I can’t believe how rude these staff are. I asked to see a face-to-face consultant and he said am I making threats? What kind of people are working in such a place? It’s disgusting. I would much rather go to a dealer in the street for my medication.

The staff can be quite rude
The service isn’t the best
Also they tend to ring once/drop call you on consultations and charge you for missing BEWARE

I applied to Mamedica on 2 February 2026, and over five months later I’m still no further forward.
Initially there was an issue accessing my NHS records because of a restriction on my GP’s ORB access. I contacted my GP and got this resolved as requested, but after that the process simply seemed to stall.
Since then I’ve had to repeatedly chase for updates myself from Tom Walker, Communication has been poor, with long periods of silence, and every update has only come after I’ve emailed them first. The last explanation was that they were waiting for further information from my GP, but months have now passed with no meaningful progress.
I understand that some delays can be outside Mamedica’s control, but keeping patients informed shouldn’t be. Waiting this long just to complete onboarding, with very little proactive communication, has been frustrating and disappointing.
Based on my experience, I can’t recommend Mamedica’s onboarding process.

I am writing this review because my experience with Mamedica Dispensary has left me with a complete loss of confidence, not only because of the product issue itself, but because of how the issue was handled afterwards.
In my opinion, the biggest concern is not what happens when everything goes smoothly. It is what happens when something goes wrong.
In my case, I raised concerns about Clearleaf vape cartridges being shown online in boxed packaging with coloured mouthpieces, but being supplied to me in a bagged format with a different physical feel and mouthpiece. This was not just about a box. In my experience, the physical format felt different, affected taste, affected use and damaged my confidence in the product.
I had already raised concerns about this format before. Despite that, my later order arrived with over £200 of Clearleaf products supplied again in the same format I had already disputed.
What followed is the reason I would warn people to think carefully before signing up.
I spent a significant amount of time chasing, emailing, explaining, sending images, repeating the same points and trying to get a clear answer. In my experience, the responses were not just unhelpful. They felt dismissive, cold, repetitive and process-led, with very little genuine care shown for the fact that I was a patient trying to resolve a real issue with medication I had paid for. Rather than feeling supported, I felt like I was being managed, brushed off and pushed towards accepting no remedy.
At one point I was on hold for around two hours, including past closing time. For a private medical service, I found that completely unacceptable.
Mamedica eventually escalated the issue to the supplier. The response I received confirmed that Clearleaf presentation stock had varied between boxed and bagged formats. It also confirmed that future batches would be released in boxed format to prevent further inconsistency, and that barrel mouthpieces had been reintroduced across production runs to resolve the mouthpiece variation issue.
That is the part I cannot get past.
The issue was serious enough to correct going forward, but not serious enough for Mamedica to remedy for the patient who had already raised it, paid for it and received the disputed format.
Mamedica also acknowledged that Clearleaf products may be displayed online with boxed packaging and coloured mouthpieces. They also acknowledged that I had previously raised concerns about receiving the bagged format and understood my frustration at receiving it again.
Yet they still refused to refund, replace or provide a cash remedy.
That tells me everything I need to know about the service.
In my opinion, if a patient raises a concern, is supplied the same disputed format again, and the supplier then confirms future batches will be changed to prevent the same inconsistency, the patient should not be left to absorb the loss.
This has made me feel that Mamedica’s complaint process is more about closing the issue down than putting the patient right. I felt heard in wording, but not helped in outcome.
The practical result was the same: no refund, no replacement, no meaningful accountability and no real resolution.
I am now leaving Mamedica because I do not trust how my concerns are handled. Account credit is not an acceptable remedy for me because I do not want to continue using the service.
My honest warning to anyone considering signing up is this: do not only look at the formulary or the prices. Think carefully about how you may be treated if something goes wrong, because my experience of trying to get a fair resolution was stressful, time-consuming and deeply disappointing.
I cannot recommend Mamedica Dispensary.
