Great communication

We had a difficult experience acquiring a purchase. We were hoping for a quick sale and laid everything open for this to happen. The client of Manning Stainton took five weeks to fill in a sheet if questions. We feel Manning Stainton should have impressed more on the vendor to get this completed. Also when we arrived at our purchased house there were still items in the house undeclared by the vendor and clearly not checked by Manning Stainton. There appeared to be rodent droppings in the kitchen but Manning Stainton maybe not checked the house before the sale went through. The sold sign was still standing on completion day. Staff friendly but difficult to contact at times. Last three weeks up to completion there was no contact so maybe for future agents could diary in a courtesy call. Please check properties near completion to make sure they are ready and no items left that were not on the inventory and declaration

Very satisfied! The whole process was followed very closely and the service was first-class. Joanne Williams is very helpful and provides excellent services to us.

Overall the service provided by Manning Stainton Crossgates branch was average. Sometimes they were slow to react to phone calls/emails. Tyler seemed to be very busy, and we rarely spoke to anyone else. Maybe they have too many houses on their books? Having said this, they sold our house 😀 Special mention must go to Gemma and Rochelle, the Move Managers, who were amazing. Very proactive, friendly, and great at sorting out the problems/stresses associated with buying a house. They are also dealing with our onward purchase, and I've every confidence they'll guide us through to completion asap!
