Unfortunately, our experience didn’t start well with the Martyn Gerard Muswell Hill sales team, specifically Shuhan and Chris. We felt they were dismissive of our opinions, didn’t communicate effectively with the buyer, and failed to manage the sale properly. We only discovered that the buyer had decided to purchase another property several weeks before we were due to exchange, which resulted in financial loss for us.
Working with Shuhan and Chris was extremely disappointing. They were consistently defensive and dismissive whenever we raised concerns, we felt like they wer representing the buyer and
not us Based on our experience, I would not feel confident working with either of them again.
After having to put the property back on the market (or consider renting it out), our experience improved significantly. Sheriaz from the lettings team was very helpful, and Fiona from the sales team secured us a new buyer. She managed the entire process professionally, kept everything under control, and saw the transaction through to a successful completion.
A huge thank you to Fiona. She was an absolute pleasure to work with and restored our confidence in the service.
This experience shows that it’s the individuals who make the difference, not the branch itself and Muswell Hill branch needs more people like Fiona. Customer concerns should always be listened to and treated with respect, and it was both upsetting and disappointing to be treated the way we were by Shuhan and Chris.

I’ve been dealing with Sheriaz and Matthew at Martyn Gerrard’s in Muswell Hill for the last couple of weeks. They are, quite simply, heads and shoulders above every other estate agent in the area.
