Unfortunately, my original battery was defect which I discovered during the warranty period.
Mate was very helpful providing me first with support and then with a new battery and charger.
Unfortunately, the new charger was also defective which I again discussed with Mate resulting in another replacement free of charge. Communication was always very professional and I am looking forward to my new charger!

The response from the support team has been amazing. Momen (who I have been in contact with regularly about my battery issue) has been incredibly responsive, helpful and friendly.

The only feedback I have is specific to the availability of the batteries, and the US Mate site which never seems to be available.

My contact Momen was so kind and helpful. It was a pleasure working with her since I had all the information right on time and we resolved the issue and closed the order very quick. All highest rates for Momen.

The riding experience is close to excelent! The bike turns out to be much bigger and cooler than one could expect looking on it on the web.

It rides smoothly and sustainably. The battery has an impressive range. I’ve managed to have a 22km just and just used around 20% of the charge.

The bike is ergonomic and rolls great thanks to the fat tires and the suspension. So speed bumps cannot bother you riding with MATE.

However it is super heavy. The only use when folded is to put it into the trunk, as it is impossible to carry.

Good choice if your after jeepy rides both in town and suburbs.

I was always updated from start to finish, process was seamless.

I was one one of those who supported the Project of the Mate X few years ago. The bike looks really cool.

1 - I go the bike 15 months after I bought it.
2 - The bike is built with really cheap parts. I had to change many screws few weeks after I got the bike. Cable after one year are brocken. battery also not having a long life.
3 - Customer service is a NO GO. if you write them an email ... NO ANSWER at all.

If you need parts:
Just MATE, you cannot find some alternative.

I would have loved this bike, idea is really cool, but the company is UNPROFESSIONAL at all.

I warn everybody to spend 2/3k for this product.

I am extremely impressed and thankful re my experience communicating with Momen at MATE.
He was attentive and went out of his way to advise the cost and postage to Australia for the item I was interested in. ‘Mate’ is a very Australian word, meaning Good Friend and that discribes my ‘X’ perfectly. Well done MATE. 👍😜👍

It takes too long to get product delivered when ordered. There needs to be better access to replacement products.

Momen from the first moment was very communicative, and very professional..., she has resolved all my doubts and with perfect solutions.

I had a problem with the Mate X STOPPED FROM JULY 2022 waiting for a spare part the problem was solved in January 2023.

They started out with informing me on how to keep the battery up to date and at optimal preformance. After some back and fort I got a new bike display without any issues and it was deliverd a few days later.
