My bicycle turned up with a broken head-lamp. I reported this the same day and the lady said they would send another one (I assumed she meant bike but it later transpired she meant lamp)

It was due to be delivered on Saturday, didn't arrive - it came on Monday.

The replacement lamp was totally different. The original lamp had an on/off switch, the new one does not.

The cables are all integrated so it's also a bit difficult to simply replace, if I had wanted to build a bike I would have bought a kit.

Without the on/off switch I am not going to install the lamp, instead I glued the original lamp in place. So far it has stuck.

I have to say this is typical of Dutch service. I bought a new product. and expect it to be complete when it arrives.

I placed my order on Thursday late evening and the first thing i know is that at 7am in the morning on Saturday it was delivered to me. I was very skeptical buying a bike online as i have heard weird stories and didn't trust much still went ahead with the reviews posted and I should say that i'm delighted with my new bike which was at a very reasonable price, loved it. Thank you guys :)

I am satisfied with the product you use daily

The delivery was very prompt and the quality was good indeed.
However, I was expecting a bike which is fully assembled, but received in parts without all necessary tools and instruction for assembly. A bit disappointed as the bike is still lying unused as I do not have time to go for buying the tools or take it to a cycle repair shop.
I suggest you to inform customers about such things in advance.

I have bought 3 bikes online over the past 6 months. Each time the website has had clear images, great prices and next-day delivery. the products are good quality as well, especially the kids bikes.

I ordered the bicycle Thursday evening and it was delivered on Saturday exactly as promised. Bike assembly was super quick (pedals, inflate tires, rotate handlebars). All the accessories I ordered were in the box and fit well.

I bought the Stokvis City Cat 6V looking for a cheap foldable bike, and its better than I expected.
Although you can see that the quality of the brakes for example is not very good, and that is not light, the feeling is of riding a solid bike.
After 2 weeks using it, I'm happy to have it.
The service that brought the bike home was ok. 2 days after buying it (I bought it after 15.00) and in the scheduled time. A kind woman called me the day before to make sure that I was going to be home.

Fast delivery and all the accessories assembled !

being new to Netherlands, i went to several bike shops and fund that Matrabike staff to be the most honest and helpful with their options. based on the service i got from the gent at the Hoofddorp shop, i place orders for my entire family and this was promptly delivered a day later. I ordered two bikes and one was out of stock, but the client service promptly contacted me and offered to deliver the bikes separately, which was nice. The only thing is that one of the bikes looked like it was kept in the warehouse for a long time, however it was in good condition despite all the dust and spiderwebs.

Bike received exceeded expectations. Delivery was really fast. Matrabike even phoned to confirm what could be done before I ordered making this order one of the easiest I have experienced. Excellent value for money too......

The product is good and delivery is on time but I was shock once received the box.

I have to do the “montage” myself which is not mentioned in your advertisement.
It requires some tools and skills to fix all parts together.
So I decided to bring this “messy box” to my nearest bicycle shop to have it fixed. It costs me 60euro ( 25 euro for the delivery arrangement + 35euro for the montage fee.
Keep in mind that the cost of this product will be +60e when you choose " free delivery) option.

Their bikes are of really good/reasonable price. The bike I bought arrived on time. They call you to make an appointment before delivery. In short: recommended!
