Avoid. Poor communication and utterly rude and unprofessional. Plenty of great dealerships around so don’t fall for the fancy adverts. The cars are prestige but the salespeople are jokers.

Potential Buyers Beware when buying from Max Motors 2/Tudor Prestige
Potential Buyers Beware!!!
Bought a 2015 Jaguar XF Sportback from Max Motors 2 Ltd/Tudor Prestige on 25 January 2026. Vehicle lost all electrical power within 10 days of purchase including not starting. Jay at Max Motors 2 Ltd refused twice to agree to full refund despite valid legal claim under Consumer Rights Act 2015. I felt pressurised by Jay into the alternative route of getting faults diagnosed and repaired. In contrast to Janade, the staff at our local independent Ely area Jaguar specialist garage were very helpful & quickly identified faulty main & auxilliary batteries as a major problem, corrosion in front engine fuse box & fault codes in 6 modules as additional issues. To date, Jay at Max Motors 2 Ltd has failed to offer fair & reasonable compensation for approx £1500 extra costs which I have paid just to get vehicle roadworthy & fit for its intended purpose i.e. just driveable. Have now filed a Money Claim Online with potential county court case pending. Potential Buyers-please carefully read all Trustpilot reviews on Max Motors 2 Ltd before considering buying from either Max Motors 2 Ltd. or Tudor Prestige as both companies are operated by Jay.
Very disappointing experience with Max…
Very disappointing experience with Max Motors in Abu Dhabi.
They sold me a used car with several hidden issues that were never disclosed. They claimed the vehicle was in “excellent condition,” but that was completely untrue.
After the purchase, Max Motors stopped responding and took no responsibility for any of the problems. Extremely poor customer service and zero transparency.
I do not recommend Max Motors to anyone.
Save yourself the frustration — buy your car somewhere else.
I recently purchased a Range Rover…
I recently purchased a Range Rover Vogue from Max Motors 2 Ltd and I am extremely satisfied with both the car and the service I received. The team were professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable, making the whole process smooth and stress-free. The service was amazing from start to finish, and the vehicle was even better than I expected. I would highly recommend Max Motors 2 Ltd to anyone looking for a quality car and outstanding customer care.

STAY AWAY
I cannot believe the crap we have had with this company and car.
We bought it in December and it was back with them within weeks for a heater matrix, how was that not picked up on a pre sale service ?
Our Audi man picked up that the heater matrix and an unknown oil leak from the engine
He got the matrix fixed and my husband went back up on the train to pick it
My husband drove it back , we live in Bristol and got the train back.
13 WEEKS later I was losing my rag and told Jay that I was sending the AA to check it out before he drove it home at the cost of £250.
This repair cost him £4,800 as all of the engine seals needed doing too !
Within weeks it was asking for a service, we took it back to our man and found that we needed a new front brake caliper as there was a bolt missing and the wire for the brake pad sensor had been removed so there was another £800 gone.
I should have stuck to my guns and insisted that we had a refund. 13 WEEKS is not acceptable especially when you discover that for the first 8 weeks NOTHING happened because his mates garage took it apart then left it.
STAY AWAY FROM MAX'S MOTORS
he doesn't give a toss

Not fit for purpose
When I test drove the car, I was instructed by Jay to stay on the industrial estate. When I collected the car and drove it home, I realised why.
Once I got to national speeds, the rear end was hopping all over the place. I immediately pulled over and called Jay asking to bring it back. He said the rear tyres were a bit low and to just get some new tyres. That 90-mile drive home was the scariest I've ever had. I should have just taken it straight back but worried that the V5 had been signed and I was past the point of no return.
I bought new tyres all round, which made little difference. It transpired the rear dampers (shocks) had gone. This was a recent MOT failure and Jay maintained these had been replaced. However, my mechanic insisted that the leaking dampers had been wiped clean to pass the MOT. Jay later produced a dodgy-looking invoice which suggested they had fitted used dampers. Who on earth fits used dampers – if indeed they were replaced?
Over the next few weeks I had injector failures in both banks. Jay offered to replace an injector (with a second-hand part?) but I was advised by a BMW specialist that they should be replaced at least in banks (3 injectors per bank). As both banks were affected, I coughed up £2k for all 6 injectors.
After being £3k down (on a £6k car) in just the first month, I approached Jay to reach a fair agreement. After lots of back and forth through his solicitor, they offered me £200.
I thought about going through Trading Standards, but at this point my father passed away and so I gave up the fight.
I have just bought a car from a similar type of business. What a breath of fresh air. Again, some mechanical issues soon came to light but the business owner met me half way over a simple WhatsApp chat.
These cars look the business when you see them in their glossy indoor studio and even look great in the flesh. It's all about the aftersales...

Would not buy a wheel nut oft these low lifes. brought a Vauxhall vivaro van from these broke down twice in first 3 week and had to be recovered i took to there garage and said it was a loose pipe put still persisted with problem spluttering think they new it was injector problems but new it costs a few quid to replace. 1st inspection from an independent garage the injectors need replacing at a cost of £350 + vat and labour then on the Saturday after picking it up from garage the clutch went, not only that now I am having problems with the intercooler system and is booked in so far I have spent 3.7k on a van I paid 8k plus vat. Just wish I got an independent inspector involved as these problems would of been there when I brought the van and they would of helped me get my money back so buyers be aware trust me jay and the garage he gets repairs done are dishonest.
I am very pleased with the car I bought…
I am very pleased with the car I bought at Max Motors, clean, well-kept with a full service history. professional service and easy communication.

The single best car buying experience I've ever had
Had a superb experience with Jay at Max Motors 2. He made the process effortless. He sent over any and all requested documents really quickly, made logistics and timings easy and was genuinely lovely to deal with. Also allowed me to look over the car in private (without watching my every move like some dealers do). I can't recommend Max Motors 2 enough, they've been seriously superb.

Excellent experience with Jay
Excellent experience with Jay. Honest, articulate and professional - not what I expect from a car sales office. Jay is unique, decent car, decent price no pressure. Could not fault my experience with Jay and less positive reviewers need to look at themselves as they are the problem the company.
Great Cars Great Prices
It is rare to find an auto dealer where both the car and the price are better than expected. No lies or hidden fees. Max is the gut you want to buy your car from.
Thank you Jay @ max motors

Disappointed....
Great experience up until payment was made and the car was collected. After sales customer service is garbage. Noticed a few faults with the vehicle and made the dealership aware. Consistently told they'd be back in contact but have yet to return a call or deal with the issue. Mileage higher than advertised, windscreen damaged, violent vibrations over 70mph. Extremely disappointed to say the least.
Some of the staff were friendly enough…
Some of the staff were friendly enough but others seem quite rude.
I went to test drive a car towards the end of the day. There was no petrol in the car to the point where I could only drive the car 1/2 a mile around the block. The person I was dealing with just left without saying goodbye. I had no idea he had even gone.
Upon buying the vehicle I discovered one tyre was illegal and should not be allowed on the road. After further investigation it seems the wheel alignment was way out. A call back to the dealer to express my concerns was instantly dismissed and they refused to be of any assistance and suggested this was not their issue. So I have had to fork out money for a new tyre and wheel alignment within a few days of owning the car. I feel like they are not interested in helping out or dealing with any issues. A decent dealer would of spotted this issue and resolved it before the car was sold or at least help out after it was pointed out to them.
I now don't trust the 3 month warranty they have provided as this is a warranty they claim they will cover themselves. They sell some nice cars but make sure you get a proper test drive and be wary of any hidden issues as seems they don't like to put their hand in their pocket.
Don't get me wrong it can be luck of the draw with a second hand car. I personally feel after buying many second hand cars before these guys don't really care about the customer and just about how much they can make from you. This is why I will always use a main dealer as they have a reputation to keep.
