I contacted MaxMotors twice VIA online chat. They were quick to respond but had a Mercedes advertised on their website at one price and on their Facebook advert at a completely different price £500 cheaper. They took my mobile number and promised to get back to me. I heard nothing so 2 days later I made the same enquiry asking what price is the Mercedes? Again no reply from them regarding this. Eventually after a 3rd online chat with them I told them I was not interested because of such bad customer service so they contacted me by text confusing me with another customer of the opposite sex. So all in all all bad customer service they don't seem to know what they are doing and judging by recent reviews in particular not a company I want to do business with with.
Bought a lexus from these guys, got home and got it through my garage to find ots got an engine from a scrap car fitted. Bolts missing and parts loose, various hidden faults which will cost me around £1000 to repair. These guys have ignored me and lied from the beginning. Apparently the manager isn't there and will be back Thursday, he's told me this 3 weeks ago when I called and was lucky enough for him to answer the phone. This is just a scam artist garage and don't waste your time with them. I should have seen the red flags when I turned up to the horror or a car site on the side of the motorway all cars covered in dust and staff urinating in the yard. Also the garage they use to have the cars ✌"repaired "✌are a bunch of cowboys also. Il live and learn and take this as experience. DO NOT USE THIS TRADER HE IS A SCAM ARTIST

I bought a Mercedes at the end of January and I only use it for 3 months, for other 3 months the cars stayed for repair in a garage. For the first repair, the owner helped me with 50% of the total cost and a courtesy car but not for the second. The car been sold with hidden problems. Avoid at all costs.
Bought a car which failed after 8 days. They said they would fix it. After 2.5 weeks they still had the car and had done nothing to it.
Then they offered me an illegal fix or my money back.
I took the legal option. I signed the car over to them and waited for a refund. After a week I had an email stating they will charge me 1k for the use I'd had out of it.
I disagreed with this so they didn't refund me anything and told me to sue them for it, saying it could take a year.
I claimed back most from a chargeback thanks to paying on Visa. I recieved this a month after signing the car back to them and several weeks after they had put it back up for sale for 1k more than I paid for it.
Now its clear why they wanted the whole amount as a bank transfer.
They don't store cars correctly in accordance with manufacturers instructions so if your lucky it won't need a new battery or worse.
All their vehicles go through a salt of the earth garage 'revtech' i think their basically one and the same, in a compound surrounded by scrap cars and non road legal modifying which is where I speculate they get their vehicles and spare parts from. The director claims to be an mot tester but was going to defeat the emissions system on my car to get it working.
These guys really are professional rouge traders. It appears they are genuinely selling shoddy cars that haven't been checked over properly and they know it. They have a nice showroom but it's just a front and explains why their cars are the cheapest. If they put their prices up a bit they wouldn't need to con people.
I've since bought a car from a main dealer which is a first for me and its definitely a much better stress and haggle free experience than dealing with this lot.
Never buy a car from this company.
March of 2021 my husband bought me a white 4 series BMW on face value it look stunning but my god how wrong was we. Within the first few days the car started to stutter so we rang up only to be told it was normal for a Auto it was the gearbox dropping down the gears so I drove the car another week, the stutter just got worse every day so I rang again still being fobbed off I decided to take it to an independent garage, there findings was a emissions fault so I rang max motors 2 to let them know I was told to just contact BMW myself as it was a manufacturers fault. So I booked it in at my local BMW and the fault was fixed, but my god did this open a can of worms, when BMW do any work on a car they send a car video when I received the video it said my back breaks was a emergency now bearing in mind at this point I’d done about 500 miles in the car so again I rang max motors 2 they said I could either get them done at BMW and they would pay half or take it to them and they would do them that wasn’t a optionas they are a two & half hour drive . So I picked the car up and took it back to the independent garage that found the fault in the first place for them to have a look as sometimes BMW can be a bit over the top . Well all I can say was my car was confiscated on the spot the brakes wasn’t low there just wasn’t any pads left at all , how could they sell a car so dangerous, so I got a lift home and the garage ordered the brakes. But before I got home I had a call from the garage asking me if I new the car had been in an accident , they asked if I could turn around and go back as they needed to show me . As I arrived back at the garage my car was covered in postet notes I was devastated the list was endless. The back drivers door was full of filler and a different Shade of white, the back bumper had been resprayed but was also a different shade of white and the paint was flaking off the parking sensor, the roof had been wrapped in black and it had shrunk and had started to lift and there was grit under it, the front body kit was held down at the sides with double sided tape , the back passenger panel there was a scorch mark from the bumper respray the list was endless but these are the faults I asked max motors 2 to put right . They agreed to look at the car after I informed them I’d contacted trading standards and said they would arrange to pick the car up as I’m a key worker it’s a 5 hour round trip and I do two shifts a day 7 days a week due to the pandemic. They gave me a date so I took the day off but lunch time I had a email to say they wasn’t coming they was coming the next day unfortunately I can’t just keep taking days off so they said they would sort another date, 7 weeks later I eventually got them to pick up the car after I had sent them numerous text. They picked the car up on a Friday and left me with a Courtesy car that was discussing it was filthy dirty inside and out it even had a dirty hair band with hair still wrapped round it around the gear knob . In the middle of a pandemic this car should of been sanitised i sanitised my car before the driver took it away. I heard nothing till the following Tuesday they Decided they didn’t want to fix the car they would only fix The front body kit as they didn’t know how it had been stuck on with double sided tape and they were sorry for that or alternatively I could have a full refund. I was left devastated as I really loved the car but I had no choice but to take the refund . But they was never really going to do that was they how Naive was I we then had a call to say we was going to be charged 45p a mile for the miles I’d put on the car going to work and £435 for the log book as me owning the car for 3 mths had added another driver so altogether they stopped £2000 out of my deposit. As you can imagine I was so angry but not as angry as when I looked at the website a few days after they had put the car back up for sale for £1500 more than what I bought it for without doing any of the repairs so the extra owner didn’t really make a difference did it even though they are still advertising it as one former keeper The car was white with a black roof wing mirrors and black body kit reg PF17UEU . Please don’t make the same mistake as us DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS COMPANY .
Recently purchased a car that developed a fault which was a potentially huge cost. The team dealt with the BMW main dealer and got the issue resolved directly. Very good communication and open honest approach
Ian really looked look after me from start to finish giving me a amazing price on my part x and the car I purchased was stunning highly recommended Max Motors.
Just bought my second Mercedes off these lads. The first I had for a few years and I was that pleased with it I went back and bought another Mercedes. I've read through some of the negative reviews on here and I would swear we are not talking about the same people or the same company. I have found them to be helpful and genuine sales people. I booked to see them for both cars and they were available both times as agreed. The cars on each occasion were immaculately cleaned both inside and out. This company has been trading for quite a few years, sometimes we get things wrong, all business's do but don't let these negative reviews put you off, take the time to view for yourself, if you are spending money surely you want to view the car first and make an informed decision. I did have an issue with a sensor with only a few weeks left on my warranty and I phoned Ian one of the salesman, and he sorted it straightaway for me.
Best car dealer in Peterborough
A 10/10 experience with Max Motors 2. Fantastic stock, well priced, lovely indoor showroom
I recently bought a used BMW i3 from Max Motors 2 Ltd and the experience was very relaxed and hassle-free. I would particularly recommed the staff member I dealt with (Jay Hussain), who was extremely helpful and responsive to my queries, as I was buying from overseas. The car arrived exactly as described and I am very pleased both with the car and with my experience with Max Motors.
Very quick and easy purchase.
Looked at the car online, spoke to the sales team who were very helpful.
Very happy with my purchase.
I just purchased a used Bmw from this company, the service I received was wonderful and the car was beautifully presented in fact it was immaculate.
I would 100 percent recommend my friends and family here.
First class company.
This is definitely the worst experience ever. I had travelled almost 4 hours by train to buy a car that 8 had agreed with from the saleswoman over the course of a few days via telephone. Once I arrived at the garage I was met by the owner/manager . Now if arrogance was personified it would be the owner/manager. I told him the price agreed and he threw his keys on the table claiming he was shutting shop and not doing it anymore as he wasn't making a profit and that the price I was telling him was definitely not agreed as all sales prices go through him. 8 asked him to telephone the woman I spoke to. Unfortunately and quite convinently she was not reachable as she was at a hospital appointment. I decided to buy the car at the inflated price as I didn't fancy wasting a day's leave and another train journey home. Once I had gotten the car home and due to Covid I had not driven the car as much as I would have. The car generated a fault. Got in touch with the garage to advice and basically got to to jog on.... it's not their problem.
I would really not recommend anyone to go and buy their cars from here. I'm sorry now I did.
After you by the car their attitude towards you it's very bad. Poor customer services and after sales.
Not a fake review. From your response it goes to show the type of business your running by not trying to address the issue. Simply try and deflect by indicating this is a fake review. No need to write a fake review. Manners cost nothing. Nothing in this review is made up or untrue. You response says it all. Wasn't expecting the red carpet just general Manners when conducting business is enough. Never once did I ask for a "special discount" just the price agreed. Nice to see you have changed your stance from accusing me giving a false review to your updated response. Anyway I was sharing my experience with other potential buyers and people can make up their own minds. The fault was covered under the regular warranty as it was a mechanical fault. That's repaired now at a cost to me as you clearly not bothered and it would be a futile case of back and forth with no resolution. Once bitten twice shy. Please, please, please do not buy from this outfit, when i addressed my issues the owner/manager flately refused/rubbished my concerns. Even now i am upset with the level of service and way i was treated by this cowboy outfit.
Kind regards.

Quick and easy transaction, very helpful and friendly people not only before payment.was on my own so they arranged delivery for me, next day have to change delivery time cos my wife was stil at work-it took only 5 min for them to sort the problem out.prices negotiable
Thank you
Fantastic web site.really great people, made the transaction a real pleasure, absolutely brilliant car as the name superb throughoutso helpfull did exactly what they said they would do.love the car and the buying experience.first class throught.thanks jay for everything.highly recommend you won't find better.
I would seriously think twice about dealing with this company. Having seen a car on their website, it took 3 emails and one phone call to get through and arrange an appointment to view and we told them that we would be travelling 150 miles to view. On the morning of the appointment we called again to make sure that the car was still available and to say that we would be there at the scheduled time. Having set off and travelled the best part of 125miles, and being only about 25mins away, we got an email saying the car had been sold!!!! There was no mention in our earlier call that anyone else was scheduled to view the car before us and, when we called to register our anger, all we got was a short apology and that they had informed us as soon as the car was sold. Looking at some of the other reviews it looks like this isn't a one-off!!! So thanks Max Motors 2 for the 250mile wasted journey for which I'd given up a day's leave!
The worst experience ever. I only had problems with the car. From the first week i had problems with the system I needed to take it to Mercedes to reset everything because they say it's not their problem. Then the battery was down I needed to change it. And that in just 2 weeks since I took it from them. Now, after 5 months since I purchased the car. The car started making a creaky sound. Took it to garage. At least £1,000.00 expenses.
I would really not recommend anyone to go and buy their cars from here. I'm sorry now I did. I would have preferred to buy it from CarGiant for £1,000 extra and not have any problems with it.
After you by the car their attitude towards you it's very bad. Please be very careful
Awful from start to finish.
Cowboy! Avoid at all costs.
Joke of a company please avoid. Found a car I wanted and offered to secure it with a deposit And a lady called Sue refused she said it’s better to come down any buy it as they can’t hold the car. Had a call today from a someone else who told me the car has been secured for me to collect tomorrow. I went and booked a train ticket as I am coming from Leeds. Just got called now to say it’s sold. The company made me spend money on a train for noting. Disrespectful at least offer to reimburse me but they refused. Avoid at all cost! We agreed a price now they are saying the sold it for full price .
Highly recommend!! Got my mini one about 6 months ago and love it! The sale went very smoothly and haven't had any issue with the car. Highly recommend!
