Lower Blepharoplasty with MCAN / Dr. Arda Katircioglu

I had lower blepharoplasty with Dr. Arda Katirgioglu on 8th January 2025 through MCAN. Sadly, my results have been very poor — I was left with ectropion, dry eyes, and visible changes to my eyelids that affect both comfort and appearance.

When I asked MCAN for support, I felt their response did not address the real issues, and communication has since broken down. I was expecting proper aftercare but have been left feeling abandoned.

This is my honest experience so others can make an informed choice.

The process went well and everyone was very nice and friendly. I am satisfied so far with the result.

I did my first transplant in 2019 and one of the things which I liked (aside from the cleanliness and the certifications they had) was they set the expectations that I may need a second transplant.

Fast forward to 2025. I opted mcan again because I had a great experience. I felt like I was annoying them (consultants) at some points leading up to the procedure but they answered all my questions with a day or so which was great.

The main surgeon who did my consultation was great (and funny), the consultants (Irem and kerem) leading up were super helpful and the overall experience was relaxing, especially as I was super nervous due to being on my own this time.

This time I had my beard and donor area used and looking forward to the results

From the moment I arrived, everything was smooth and well-organized, from the airport pickup to being taken home. I was very anxious when I first got to the clinic, but the nurse and the entire team were so warm and welcoming that they quickly put me at ease. Their professionalism and care made the whole experience much more comfortable, and I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone considering a hair transplant.

I recently traveled to Turkey for liposuction with MCAN Health, and I can honestly say the entire experience was exceptional. From the moment I landed to the day I departed, I felt completely looked after despite being in a foreign country where I don’t speak the language.

I cannot recommend McCan health enough I was well looked after from the moment I was looking into my surgery from hilal who is fantastic and still checks in with me now 3 weeks after everyone including the doctors, nurses, and drivers where all very courteously, and the hotel was also very nice and staff where also very polite. As for the surgery the surgeon dr eskalen done a great job to my eyes and Iam even considering going back for more surgery next year wiht mcan I felt that comfortable and pleased with the outcome ,I would definitely recommend

Honestly, I received the best support from the MCAN team. After a complicated surgery (second surgery), I was really afraid about it, and of course, I came to Turkey with a limited budget. However, with MCAN assurance, they covered my medical expenses and hotel. I was really afraid, but everyone was friendly and supportive throughout. I truly loved that experience. I couldn’t have done it without the MCAN team.

My journey from inquiring about a hair transplant to undergoing the procedure was seamless and stress-free. The entire process was handled with care and efficiency—from being met at the airport, transported to the hotel, and escorted to the clinic, to being taken back to the airport with plenty of time for my flight. All I had to do was show up, and everything else was arranged for me. I am healing well so far, and I look forward to sharing the results of my hair growth over the next 12 months.

Everyone was very kind, including the doctors, nurses, and drivers. I was very well received, treated very courteously, and the hotel was also very nice. As for the surgery, everything went exactly as I expected. I left very happy, as they fully understood what I needed. They also explained the postoperative process to me, and everything was very clear. Everything went very well!

I honestly was scared at first I never left the states before and was very worried but the phone calls the texting helped they help you from the very beginning and they don’t stop till your journey has fully ended so take the chance and book it they told me everything that will happen and pick up from the airport and to the clinic and the hotel and the staff a lot of them speak English and if someone didn’t they got someone who did and I was so happy they had dropped my forehead size and hair line and I’m so excited to start this new journey they will stay till your hair is back and once it was all done they give you a tour of their city and bought me dinner and snacks this type of experience in the us would be thousands of dollars and u won’t get no tour I had a great time

With MCAN the whole process is scheduled out for you, right from being picked from the airport to being dropped off at your departure. Your designated nurse is in constant communication with you and is there if you need any assistance.

Everyone that I met during the process was courteous and genuinely cared about my treatment. It never felt like fake enthusiasm; it always felt genuine. The facility was great, and the price was fantastic for the level of service. I think someone could easily pay twice the amount of money and not get as good service. I would definitely recommend.

I went to MCAN in June 2025 and had a wonderful experience. I was in and out very quickly and everyone who works at MCAN was fantastic. I’m two months out and I am starting to see really great success.

I had a breast reduction and lift. My surgeon was very thorough. During the pre Op appointment he took his time to mark me up to make sure it was right and discussed it all with me during the process. Post Op he was very thorough and made sure any of my concerns were addressed. I felt in great hands throughout the whole process. All the nurses that looked after me took great care of me after surgery. Hilal was my main nurse that was there throughout the whole process and looked after me very well. She is so knowledgeable and really cares for her patients. She still checks in now that I'm back home and if I have any concerns addresses then quickly. My healing is going well and so far they look amazing, I could not be happier with the whole experience.

I am now three weeks post hair transplant and so far, I’m very happy with the progress. The clinic team was professional and supportive throughout the procedure and recovery. Everything went smoothly, and I’m excited to see the results develop in the coming months.
