I was there in June for an hair transplant. So far, the pre and post ops are really good. The operation process was smooth and less annoying or painfull than expected. They took care of me from A to Z. Great overall communication. And now the follow-up is still strong. Now I have the wait few months to see the real results. I recommend strongly.

My recommendations!

I’m delighted once again with the service from MCAN from start to finish. My surgeon also has been fabulous (Dr Kunter). Constant communication and care. So far I’m delighted with my progress (4 weeks after surgery).

I had my first Transplant with MCAN on 12 August, it is obviously too early to comment on the results of the procedure itself.

However, I want to give a fair and balanced view of my experience so far.

I would start by sayin the Nurses (not surgeons) who did the operation were great. They spoke minimal English but did what they could to speak with me and they seemed professional. Obviously, time will tell whether the work was good.

In terms of the care before up to and after the operation, I would say its a lot worse than what I expected, based on reviews I had read online. On reflection it is significantly cheaper than getting the procedure done in say Harley street so perhaps that should have been expected but A lot of the review I read spoke about a Rolls Royce, 5 star service.

I had an issue with Euros and the night before the Op. , when I was already in Turkey, they were threatening to cancel the operation and I felt really showed their true colors when it came to money. We did get it resolved in the end and I had to pay significantly more to not pay in cash but I think they let themselves down how they handled it (threatening to pull the operation at midnight before the operation)

The Hotel was a standard 3 star holiday inn. It was only when I arrived and asked MCAN about bleeding after the operation, they said i would be charged a cleaning fee if this happened. Again, perhaps naivley so, but based on the reviews I had seen I had assumed they would obviously know this happens and have arrangements with the hotel.

Also, before the procedure there was a lot of talk of needing to get a second procedure which was quite disappointing just before the operation as I had spoken with the clinic about this at length before paying the deposit and they were very clear I wouldn't need a second procedure but it felt like once they had my money that story changed.

Aftercare has been very minimal (so far), just responses to messages via whatsapp. However, I have had an automated email today asking for photos so that may change. Again, I've seen many reviews saying people were being checked in a lot at the start and getting good support. I'd say I've just been getting standard responses that are on the website without somebody qualified actually monitoring my progress. However, it has only been 10 days so maybe that will change but I had understood this to be a pivotal time.

Overall, if the results are good it's ultimately worth what you pay for it but I wanted to give an accurate review of my experience as I know others will be looking and I think some of the review I had seen gave me expectations that were too high. Appreciate other people's experience may have been a lot better than mine.

I went with MCAN in June and had a full face lift. I can’t tell you how happy this has made me. MCAN were amazing and I could not recommend them more strongly. Unfortunately I suffered with food poisoning and had to be admitted into hospital. MCAN especially Hilal and Gensu (nurses from MCAN) stayed with me for over 24 hrs, not leaving me alone for a minute during my hospital stay. If you want to look fabulous go with MCAN, totally professional and trustworthy.

The whole experience was very easy and taken care of for me, with little effort on my part. MCAN did a wonderful job keeping us informed about the whole process, and the aftercare steps to continue the process. They did their job wonderfully and would recommend to anyone thinking of going.

Nervous at the start but made to feel comfortable and welcome most importantly the results are very very good it did just over 3 months so was slightly concerned up in till then, then it saying to work aggressively and grow very fast, overall I’m overall I’m over the moon with the results highly recommend MCAN health.

This was my 2nd procedure with MCAN and I was not disappointed. In fact this time was better than my last visit. The whole process was arranged by Arda. My accommodation was great, the hospital was excellent and I was lucky to have nurses who spoke English this time around. They checked on me and ensured I was as comfortable as possible. I was escorted back to my hotel by the lovely nurses and they came by to change my dressings every day. I loved that they included a hair wash after the surgery because it made me feel so much better. The drivers were on time for all the appointments and airport transfers. My surgeon Dr Sagir was excellent, I am so pleased with the outcome of my 3 procedures. He spoke in English and answered all my questions honestly. A big shout out to Nursena, Hilal and Elif for the aftercare and follow up and for their kindness. Thank you for looking after me so well!

Amazing pre and post op care.

My experience going to Turkey for face lift was really good .MCAN health team are brilliant. From the start up till now , they are keeping all communication which is a big help. Dr Dunda and his assistant are extremely exceptional, caring , and knowledgeable. The nurses at the hospital were really caring and a big helping hand and Mcan nurses are very friendly and supportive they always have a smile on their faces. My results are brilliant and could not ask for a better surgeon or better results.
Overall I recommend Mcan to anyone who is looking to have any procedure in turkey .

MCAN did an amazing job taking care of my brother and I throughout the entire process. From planning to hotel accommodation and even transportation, they went above and beyond. The staff was incredibly kind and friendly which made the procedure much less stressful. MCAN was also very clear on their plans beforehand as well as the correct aftercare instructions to ensure a smooth recovery and optimal result. I would honestly and easily recommend MCAN over other competitors.

I can honestly say that Mcan has to be one of the best in their field. Totally professional, caring and empathetic to your needs from the minute you step off the plane. Dr Dundar is a master in his domain as an aesthetic plastic surgeon. The Mcan specialist nurses go above and beyond to ensure you are well looked after and help to alleviate any fears along the way. Last but not the least the MCAN drivers are very good and never kept me waiting. From Airport arrivals to departure they were always on time and never kept me waiting including interim transfers from hotel to clinic and vice versa.
My overall experience till now was awesome.I am loving to see my transplant area many times a day as it gives me wow feeling.
I strongly believe that MCAN did their job nicely.
I could have written this in a formal way but this is directly from my heart so I am keeping it raw.
If I get an opportunity I would love to visit them again in the future and thank each one at MCAN personally.

I am so pleased I used MCAN for my procedures! I felt safe with my choice from first contact (there was no feeling of being “sold” anything, just professional advice on which procedures would be best for me!) I was collected from the airport taken to appointments, hotel and hospital and even extra appointments for hyperbaric oxygen therapy by lovely drivers. My consultant nurse, Hilal, couldn’t have been more kind, caring and efficient, thank you Hilal! And then I can’t praise the magical hands of Dr Dundar and his assistant surgical nurse, Harun enough.
