I had a very good experience, an honest company with great salespeople. The saleswoman Maria served us very well and the quality of the cars is excellent!

This is a rather overdue review but I honestly can't recommend McCarthy Cars enough.
We had a beyond terrible experience with Cinch which left us carless which took me to McCarthy's and god I wish I'd found them sooner and used them from the off!
From the moment we walked onto the forecourt to the moment we drove off it a couple of days later, the service was superb.
The entire team are so friendly but Steve was our main contact and he was so helpful and accommodating. We had our dog with us to try and gauge if boots were going to be big enough for him and Steve even said we can test him out in the boots if we need to 😂 he got to know us and understand what we were looking for and what we needed and we ended up with a completely different car to what we were expecting but it's perfect and a year on, we're still so happy with it.
Steve also helped us with the finance element and just made the whole experience and process so smooth. We had the car within 3 days of the test drive, after it had been serviced and valeted.
A few weeks later there was a fault with the battery and they came to our house, took the car and replaced it and returned it to us all within a day of calling them.
They really are a great business and worth travelling to to go and see. I won't want a new car for a long time as I love ours so much but when I do, I'll be straight back to these guys.

The customer service provided by Maria was excellent and exceptionally warm and real as well as organic, nothing artificial. Everything was thoroughly explained and the whole process was smooth.

As a rule I don't usually give reviews however on this occasion I feel compelled to. Friendly, honest and professional service.
My sales agent was Marie, what a lovely person.
I'm not good with technology but had to use it to buy the car because I live way up North. Marie held my hand metorfroicly speaking and was so patient with me.
The car was exactly as she described although I had only seen it on line.
She even arranged for it to be delivered free of charge.
They gave the car complete RAC 82 Point check and changed/replaced all the parts recommended.
Also gave me 3yr Platinum RAC cover with a 3yr parts and labour guarantee.
All can say is thank you, thank you, thank to McCarthy Cars for your support and service HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU.

Excellent company. First dealt with them years ago. It appears that nothing hits the road in their name other than with full valeting and in great mechanical condition. Stephen Paice was excellent and we have told him so. But everyone was freindly whilst being businesslike. A very good thing too.

Good sale of The Car. It all goes smooth. Smooth transaction buying the car and they are happy to give extra help for Disabled people's hand controls to be fitted and got the extras on protective coating for the paint work. It all looks good amd shinny like new. Always happy to give extra help. The car works all good. Good at making cars like new. Good customer service too. This is The second time I have brought a car from them. The first time was years ago back in 2009. It's a good business.

Ensured that the car was thoroughly checked. Sorted any dings and scuffs, refreshed alloy wheels, ordered new locking wheel nut remover, rear parcel shelf, gear knob and mini manual. The car was practically as good as new when we drove it away. A very professional company and salesman was completely up front about everything. Made buying a 2nd hand car a much more pleasant experience.

I went in McCarthy to see a mini that had been advertised. They refused to sell it to me as it hadn’t passed their inspection test criteria. They showed me a different car - cheaper! - which I have bought and am delighted with. Lovely people, great service. This is the 3rd car I have bought from them.

I am 💯 satisfied with my experience with Mccath cars, Maria was very courteous and polite,she didn't try and sell me stuff that i didn't need. I attended when my car wasn't ready,i didn't listen tobthe voicemail advising me not to attend yet, nevertheless, she paid for my uber for attending and also paid for an uber to take me home. She came to work on her off day..on Sunday just to make sure I got my car on time. I am very pleased with the car I bought, thanks a lot, would definitely recommend
