Brought this insurance as I went to Turkey to get some dental work. 6 months later I had a problem so needed to return, called the insurance company and was told to get a letter from the dentist and put in a claim on my return. Apparently I was never told this and they need to approve the claim before I went back! The info they want is ridiculous making it totally impossible to claim. Thank god I did not need help whilst I was there. Steer clear of this company.

Feel as though they are very clever. Most surgery cannot be re assessed until after 6 months You cannot use insurance for travelling back after this time. Also only for medical problems so if u r not symmetrical or cosmetic problem you are on your own.

The insurance product was just what I was looking for and at a reasonable price.

A good value for money person on the end of the telephone was easy to deal with all in all 10 out of 10

Did not need to use it but when purchasing staff were very helpful on the phone.

I always made sure I had insurance with medical travel shield before I went to Turkey and had any of my teeth done. However, I have never had to have a claim on the insurance, but looking at others it seems to have gone okay so I would recommend this company and I would definitely recommend getting travel insurance before you have dental care abroad.

I took out insurance when I had surgery in Europe. I had to make a claim as I needed to stay over additional nights. The claim process was quick and easy. I can't fault their service and will use again in future.

Resorting to travel abroad for surgery it was important to ensure I was suitably insured before travelling.
This company is unique as it covers you to travel for surgery rather than travel and encounter health problems whilst abroad.
Comprehensive package that ticks all the boxes leaving me and my family assured that I was covered for any eventuality.
