Obstructive and inefficient.
Absolutely dreadful follow up service from medis.
After having surgery physio was a requirement.
Every document requested by medis was sent via their app and direct to the expenses department via email.
Needless to say they have stated these either haven't been sent or received and need to be resent via postal service.
I was promised a return phone call two weeks ago, I'm still waiting.
Have completed an online complaint form.
Would I recommend. Definitely not at this stage. After talking to several Portuguese friends they are completely surprised at the behaviour of medis as it doesn't seem to happen to Portuguese people. So perhaps medis have a hidden agenda against foreigners using the service. Paying over 350 per month for this service is not acceptable.
If looking for a medical insurance, I cannot recommend medis.
