Got me to a good place, being mediocre poor it really empowered me to make the right choices filtering out rich dudes with my overwhelming desire to reconfigure their faces when ones fingers get burnt into realizing, that person is just a nice guy regardless leaving the psychos behind you is well worth it, after appointments at various surgeons who cant do anything beyond dim lighting, as I'm not in fact stupid either but its surprising what genuine people can bring you other than maiming.

I recently joined Match and find it very frustrating. When I swipe left, I am clearly not interested but yet the same profiles pop up time and time again! Why? This is such a waste of time and my wrist is getting a RSI! Does it mean I have to block everyone with whom I have nothing in common/is too far away etc. Needless to say, because this is so irritating, I intend not to renew after my month’s subscription is up.

Went to match.com it is hard to navigate it does not send you notifications when someone has looked at your profile does not send notification when someone has sent you a message doesn't send notification for any thing other than ways for you to spend more money.You can not check to see any of your likes. Can't check on any of your messages sent. It seems that the woman on this site are all looking for a fantasy man that they will never find.

below from Match.com-only time you hear from them is if they found 'so-called violation' which the rep doesn't explain so that it can be corrected. Waste of time honestly creating a profile on their account!!

We have reviewed your account for a content removal appeal and have determined you have violated our Community Guidelines and Terms of Service . Your profile will remain removed from your profile, this decision is final.

I still don't get what the violation. It may be a ploy to purchase subscription!!?

Terrible experience! I made a payment, they took a payment and next day they blocked me from signing into an account. I talked to support staff, no help at all, he said they would fix it and send a refund, but instead they charged me with no access to the site! I definitely do Not recommend this app!!!

Match.com, you had your chance to repair our relationship. With all the data and algorithms at your disposal, you keep suggesting the wrong gender, allowing that gender to see my profile and message me and I'm paying for this. Really??

This company can improve before being able to get membership by asking for two genuine proofs of identity, not only asking for your bank account details, naming yourself as you wish and inputting photos that can be from anyone.
Why are they not doing that, and how can they exist as a dating platform in that way ?

I tried to sign up for this site, and begrudgingly uploaded my images before being able to see what kind of potential partners where in my area, and age range. Immediately I could not get into my account and their site said "I was locked out"!! I tried again in a few hours and again the next day. Same. I Emailed the company, their response was something to the effect that they had a security issue and they had to protect their customers. This made no sense. I am a 60 YO woman with zero criminal history. I emailed them back asking for a further explanation and how we could clear up the obvious mistake. I never heard back and the account remains blocked. I find this very alarming and I am quite concerned because they are in possession of pictures of my face and I have no doubt they will use them for fake profiles, as most sites do. Shame on your people!

DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS its nightmare of a company- I signed up then changed my mind after 6 days (well within the 14days cooling off period) there is no link or address on there mobile site for customer services and if you simply delete your account they will still take your money till the end of the subscription. I searched elsewhere for an address for customer services and found one after many many messages some 8 days later that one finally replied and said it was the wrong address and they’ll forward it! This whole business has made me sick with worry, I can no longer afford the subscription and am getting into debt - and there are NO humans you can contact. I do not own or have access to a computer if you needed one to cancel run the account they should have made that very clear. Meanwhile the only people I seem to match with are people who are in your age bracket and who don’t want kids regardless of location!! Not helpful at all - the whole thing has been stress and worry since the moment I signed up.

Please look elsewhere, this site is money mad and full of fake people. I would give this site a - 5
PLEASE PLEASE do not use Match.com... It is a fake scam company.

Site itself is ok... but the cancellation process is horrendously complicated and hard to navigate.
App designers make it purposely difficult to leave.
That's not a good customer journey and is deceitful.
I will never use again and would recommend that everyone avoids this scam.

Unlike many reviews on this website, I found Match.com to be a very polished and professional looking dating site.
It is easy to navigate, check your own account and view other members provided you have paid for a subscription, or you just see blurred images.
Where it fails is many members have not paid and therefore a waste of time messaging them.
Scammers and fakes are soon removed, no explanation as to why from the site, so your account can soon look ridiculous with so many blank pictures with 'profile unavailable' written underneath.
Having spoken to some of these 'fake' accounts prior to their removal, I saw no evidence in them being scammers, quite the opposite, some were lovely to chat to and I am very savvy when it comes to money, so it was doubly frustrating to see them removed, can I not make my own mind up on them?
I have now had 2 x 6 month accounts with them, both at greatly reduced cost to tempt me in and barely chatted to anyone 'genuine', that is not the sites fault, it is the people that inhabit it that are the issue.
As with ALL dating sites, looks are what matter, not wealth, not personality, but rugged, masculine looks, if you are average looking you will struggle not just here, but with every site and app.
You can be the sweetest, most considerate and polite guy around, yet never secure a chat with anyone, that is NOT what ladies in general are looking for, although many will dispute that because it makes them look shallow minded.
In my opinion, Match.com is as good as it gets, I refuse to join in berating the site, it is a lovely site to see a possible future partner, sadly let down by modern attitudes that a very handsome face is all you need to succeed, that is not the sites fault, so I wish them every success for the future

If you do sign up record date you end subscription then you will need to call your bank to block further withdrawl as charges WILL continue if you do not. Basically a scam of a company although its been around for years.

Scam, quite a few scammers on this sight and some that will ask for some outrageous photos of you....Cheap pick up lines, not worth the money, and if they offer to help you find your "mate" don't do it, that was horrible, was scammed asap!!!! So disappointing.

Match.com I would give -5 starts if I could! Your app sucks, you take money from people and provide nothing in return but headaches. Your platform doesn’t work. In one month 3 weeks I was not able to use the app because had technical issues! Is garbage! Take it behind the barn and burn it!

Match.com is the spam! There is something going on there, I had canceled my subscription fee month ago and two month before my subscription end I very disappointed with my experience on Match.com I didn't want to be there. What they do ,they asking for the money every step I made on site besides the money I have already paid for the subscription. Also I have started to get marketing emails ,Match.com only one who had this email address. I think that they is selling emails to the marketing companies.
On the August 16 2024 they went to my credit card and charged me for new subscription $110 US without my concent. My account with them was closed few months before and I have a confirmation from them. They would answer to emails them about the issue I have with them? I had to cancel my credit card that they can't get there anymore. I am upset and stressed.
This business should be close by polise. They are criminals.
If someone know what to do, how to get my money back please write. Thanks.

No more dating apps for me. Deactivated my account after two weeks. Looks like it was a good “hidden” subscription there. Which of course I can’t stop or regret.

Unlike other reviews, I find most profiles are real people. My issue is that they offer free profiles but don't mark the profiles as free. So you waste your time contacting people who can't reply unless you pay for them to contact you. Ridiculous. Sick of the freeloader culture!!! If you are serious about dating, then pay for a membership. If you want to hookup use Bumble!! Match does a huge disservice to paying customer who are serious about finding a partner!!!!

Match.com keeps charging you when you cancel and also make it extremely difficult for you to cancel your membership. There is absolutely no customer service.

The site uses fraudulent methods and automatically renews your subscription without your consent.
The subscription is cancelled, but your payments continue to be charged and there is no way to cancel. When you try to stop payments and terminate your subscription, you are required to pay for the entire subscription period for which you want to cancel.
I still can't cancel payments! It's horrible
