Terrible dating site. Like you have to pay for simple features like height preference and body preference? What a joke - no wonder he it has so many bad reviews. Place is a joke and I dont recommend at all. I have already deleted this. No way these people are real on this.

Match.com don’t help people get into relationships, they just make people very sceptical of the other sex. They DO NOT WANT YOU to find a partner as then they lose money. Never again. Better off doing what you’re doing. There is someone there for everyone. CALL ME ! Only joking. I love everyone.CXX

A terrible dating site. It is full of profiles of people who have cancelled their subscription and are no longer active on the site, yet they continue to be displayed as though they are active. (They even have little green dots beside their names to show they were recently active!) I know this for a fact because, despite being on the app for a little over a month, I was trying to delete some old, non-responsive “Likes” of mine. I’m a really decent catch, so I couldn’t believe that out of 100 profiles that I had “liked”, only three had “liked” me back. At first, I could delete the old “likes” easily by dragging left on the profile in the list and selecting the offered “delete” option, however, after several profile “deletes”, the functionality suddenly disappeared. Not being one to give up easily, I reverted to “blocking” my old “likes”.

Normally, when you select “block” for a profile, you then have to select the option “confirm” to execute the block. When I blocked most of the old “likes”, instead of getting the option to “confirm”, the message “Profile Unavailable” popped up. So I’ve been busy reading and “liking” profiles that shouldn’t even be there. To further prove this point, at the bottom of the “Profile Unavailable” page, there are still the options to Message, Super Like, or Like. I selected “Like” on the profile that was “Unavailable” and was then given the option to message the person. Even though they aren’t even there! What a scam, and a complete waste of time and money.

Add to this that I have read numerous reviews that Match makes it very difficult to delete your account. Yes, you can deactivate it easily, but try deleting it. So, what Match.com is doing is keeping deactivated accounts “active” on their site so they can deceitfully inflate their number of users when in actuality, there are not many fish in their sea.

THIEVES. I cancelled subscription and received confirmation six months ago. Today I received notification that they have taken double the original amount. No way of contacting them. Trying to recover via PayPal. BEWARE

Match is so poor. They show you people that you have rejected time and time again. It's such a waste of time. Never again.

Every negative 1-star review of Match dotcom on Trustpilot is totally merited and should be taken as authentic.
I have found it extremely difficult to cancel my subscription. I was only active on Match for a couple of weeks before it was evident that many of the profiles (of women) were either suspect, fabricated or fraudulent. I didn’t meet anyone in person. It was a complete waste of time and money.
It’s a pity that there isn’t a regulator for dating websites in the UK, because the majority of them are scams or at best misleading, inaccurate and manipulative.

I want to warn anyone who may be thinking of signing up to Match.com to think twice and make sure you have time to waste, money to throw away and are not serious about meeting anybody before you subscribe. As other reviewers I wish I had read the trust pilot reviews first. I sent two photos for verification on sign up as this was the only way to complete the process. However, my photo would disappear everytime I logged in sending me to a page asking me to make my photo my main photo. There was no ability to choose an option to do this, where I was prevented from moving on to the rest if the site to experience actual dating. Navigating the site is a nightmare, the frequently asked questions section (when found) is limited and not helpful when you need to actually communicate with someone, which leads on to a customer service link which appears sporadically, and strangely when you want to cancel your subscription but does not actually work, appearing broken or frozen. On sign up I spent a good number of hours going round in circles, trying to get to communicate with somebody, but there is nobody- not a number, email address or link that works and since I've been prevented from having the photos I sent set as my main profile photo I have a profile without a main profile photo, which will obviously lead to less contacts being made. Unsubscribing was unclear and made difficult, with removing card details in a separate place. It all seems to be geared towards making the navigation experience as difficult as possible, prevention to leave, whilst taking as much of people's money as they can. Steer clear.

Continued to take monthly payments dispute having cancelled MANY TIMES WEEKS AGO!! I had to block my card as there is NO contactable email or phone number!

Complete full of fake profiles and scammers who instantly want to divert you to a Gmail account. Completely unless site and a total waste of money.

This scam site preys on your desperate loneliness.
I paid to subscribe, after I was shown a dozen blurred out photos of members who supposedly "liked" me, under the understanding I would get to see their photos and profiles.
As soon as I paid, only TWO ACTUAL profiles were shown to me, both unacceptable alcoholics.
What happened to the other 10?!

When I signed up, the Billing "continuous service" statement I received says if I cancel, benefits continue to the end of the MINIMUM 3-MONTH period I signed up and paid for.
Immediately after I canceled (after 2 days of "service"), I received an email telling me that because I canceled, I IMMEDIATELY(!) lost ALL benefits of the subscription, and had been converted back to free subscriber status, i.e inability to communicate with anyone there.
So I ended up paying them $75 for NOTHING.
This place should be closed down.
I would attach photos of their communications, but I dont see anywhere to attach evidence documents.

I did a lot of dating 20+ years ago and seeing that match.com are still there (having bought up most of the other sites - dozens of them) I thought they might be ok.
But not so. Very few women on it. I think "the brand" has just become totally stale and almost nobody bothers anymore.
They run a raft of sites e.g. silver singles, our time, etc. Their logon process is horrible and breaks all the time. Zero customer service. A total waste of money. Bumble worked for me...

Trying to cancel my subscription on Match .com using my iPad but it’s partially obscured to the left. So can’t complete by selecting button required. They seem to have changed to website layout. Maybe being done deliberately to prevent cancellation. I would post a screen shot if possible.

Also link for online help does not work so no way to contact customer service.

Match is utterly disgusting and dreadful and operating illegally and immorally. Don’t join I certainly won’t be ever again.

I have tried Match.com multiple times, for a long period of time. I have spent hundreds of dollars using Match.com's paid subscription. The site has become worse and worse as years have gone by. They have made the site more difficult to navigate through. It is harder to see who has messaged you. It used to be that you had a mailbox and if someone sent you a message it was just like an email going into your email mailbox. You could read it and respond. Now it is different, and it no longer works that way. The whole site is more confusing. It is not that you can't figure it out, but it is not as user friendly, and not as easy as it used to be. Now match.com has changed their policy on reviewing other people's profiles as a non paid member. Now you can only see 6 profiles, and the rest are not viewable if you do not have a paid subscription. What is match.com hiding? Are they hiding the fact that they do not believe that they have enough "real" profiles on their site to convince someone to pay for a subscription? Many many years ago, companies that made and packaged food products, switched from packaging their products in packages that completely concealed their food items (like a box with no clear sides to it), to packaging that revealed the actual product. You could actually see the food, and see that it looked good. If match thinks I would pay for a subscription without showing me their full list of profiles, they have gone mad. And they probably have to be honest. Match.com's executives are probably border line insane to insane.

Absolutely Shocking!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Its not worth the hassle.
If not Careful when paying for anything make sure your not signing up for a 3 or 6 months subscription or anything like that as these 👆 seem to think its all clear and above board. From a users point of view no it is not!! So I joined up a few months ago after seeing them on tv so I thought id give it a go! Well little did I release that apparently ive signed up for a 6 month subscription at near as damn it at £20 per month. So Ive not used it for a month+ to then find these are still taking the money out of my account for something Im not using but also something I wasnt aware I was signing myself up for! Spoke to those darlings in " Customer Services " the response I got was something along the lines of
" Sorry your in a subscription with us and we cannot cancel it under no circumstances" You had your standard 14 days cooling off period which has now passed so basically do one and we will enjoy your money over the next 2 months. Im shocked at this I really am abit of compassion and understanding wouldnt go a miss. But hey ho they have to pay for their Tv adverts one way or another! AVOID AVOID AVOID

I wish I had looked at this site first before paying $100 for a 3 month subscription on Match. Building the profile was fine but once you start to actually use it, it's like purchasing a flight - you pay extra for EVERYTHING! I thought being a subscriber would only send me other subscribers - nope, you get the freebie players and many things outside of your filters. If you want to be sent to the top you purchase "Boosts" (like Kiji but at, least it's free to join that!)
and numerous other "upgrades" like Super Likes, The "matches" have been less than desirable (outside of age group, distance parameters and deal-breaker like no smoking). I do not recommend Match.com.

I had cancelled my cheap pass on the same day I took it out, and then today they took£39.99 without my consent, tried to call them number provided on PayPal does not work. Please stay away from OurTime website they are dishonest

So disappointed in their customer service. One day they just decided my password was wrong so I haven't been able to login, simple right you just click Forgot Password and you get the email. Well I tried many times and that email never showed up. All the other sites/apps let YOU the user change their email, but with Match no you have to contact customer service. I did that, had to wait about 2 days with an email asking me to verify it's me, I did that, waited 1 day got a reply "Oh I can't verify you're account I will esculate you're claim" wait 2 days and they say "I am unable to verify you're account" I don't get many likes and I have 1 like waiting for me as I got an email telling me, and those likes expire in time. So pretty much I am missing out on that 1 like because of Match's horrible customer service!
