Very poor performance for the money…

Very poor performance for the money customers are asked to pay. When joining I had to assume there were sufficient members to be introduced to. There was no indication that there were only a few in my area which is bad business practice. It shows a lack of professionalism and justification for the charges they make to their customers. When coupled with the fact that many of the members are not paid up and don’t care about contact etc. it really nullifies the dating site as workable. Every member needs to be a paid up member or not get access to the site. There needs to be a higher level of professionalism too bring people together. Many dating or introduction sites have psychologists and professional councillors to run them as a professional agency. Human beings are complicated and intricate in many ways so I personally don’t feel that anything like this is sufficiently good enough to bring people together. However, I have learnt a lesson and thankfully got a full refund in less than 48hrs. Never again!!!

Beware Of Match

I was a member for a few years, this site has fake profiles, scammers and inactive members. When there is a genuine guy who showed an interest in getting to know me, I gave my contact information to the guy, I was surprised to find out from the guy that match got in touch with him to warn him that I was a scammer, this is damaging to my reputation without any proof and this is slender. The guy sent me a text through my phone to let me know about match accusation. I did lose a few potential contacts because of match's action. I cannot believe that match is trying to ruin good people's reputation. I tried to contact match without success.

It’s the worst dating site EVER!

It’s the worst dating site ever.
I now have to pay the subscription for 6 months even THOUGH I didn't renew my membership AND I did cancel the subscription. The service is awful: The Stunts they pull should be investigated by Authorities for malpractice. The fact they differentiate men and women's subscriptions just proves what kind of Company you are dealing with.
Interesting that they have only a 1 star rating...No surprise to me or it seems the majority of subscribers!
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!!

Unapproved sharing of info across platforms

Fuming that I signed up to EVEN an app for parents. And yet my details and profile have been shared across different platforms onto Match.com without my consent or knowledge!!!

Disgusted that this company feels it’s ok to do this. even shared personal information like my star sign that I DIDNT include in my profile, nor is it an option to share on EVEN. But there is it out there in the dating domain!!

Pretty typical review

Pretty typical review. Pay subscription and then you either have to open multiple accounts to activate the subscription. Or contact customer service which is non existent. Unless you cancel your subscription you keep getting charged. Renew subscription and can’t access the platform. It’s like they have given up. Not a very user friendly platform. Quick to take payment. Oh, did I mention….. no customer service.

Another £20 fleeced from my bank account!!

Well it does not surprise me Match.com (YourTime) has such an abysmal rating. You know things are bad when you need to start taking “screenshots” to prove you have (already) cancelled your subscription. Found out today ANOTHER twenty quid has been lifted out of my bank account after I was pretty sure I had cancelled the sub in Feb. So let’s see if another £20 is taken in April.

One of the worse dating sites

One of the worse dating sites. Absolutely no safety in place for paying members. High percentage of scammers , mainly from Russia. Their moderators do nothing to keep the site safe. I've reported the same person multiple times for trying to scam money and having fake details and the moderators let it happen.

Please don't bother using this site

Please don't bother using this site, its a waste of money and your time. Too many women on there not knowing what they want, many still married or with a partner just wanting a bit of fun at your expense. Being sent possible matches that are miles away. Hardly any responses or profiles that disappear over night. Total scam and money grabbing oversea company. Stay clear!!

On Line Faking is Bad for Your Mental Health

Match is marketed as better than other dating sites but in the past three years since my divorce, I have tried a few sites, all equally as dire as each other. Some have slightly more creeps than liars, but there's not a great deal to choose between them. NOTE - I am sure men's experiences are just as awful - this is not meant to in any way be critical of genuine men*

PHOTOS ON THE SITE ARE ONLY VERIFIED BY CHOICE so beware - if there is not a blue tick on a photo, the person could be anyone !!! Most want sexting or intimate photos (yuk) the rest hoped I was rich. The majority thought it was fine to ask personal questions when we've not even met for coffee, without so much batting an eyelid. I have been treated terribly on line in general and come across lots of personality disorders, which has been traumatic for me and very sad for them. Yes, there may be lots of people who have met through on line dating, but not nearly as many who have been treated in the same way I have. Instead, I have now joined social groups in my area through MEETUP.COM which is not a 'dating' site, just lots of normal humans who enjoy a chat/a meal/going for a walk together.

There is NO Customer Service!!

I just paid for a subscription and discovered their messaging system between members doesn’t work. (There are some messages to me from other members, but I can’t read them. Instead, I’m directed to my subscription status. WHY? The members who messaged me must think I’m rude for not replying.)

1) FAQs don’t address the problem.
2) Chat is automated and dumb as the south end of a northbound donkey.
3) There IS a way to submit a request BUT the request will not “Send.”
4) Finally, there is no phone number for support. Gee… no surprise there.

What a crappy outfit! I’m going to get my money back.

TIP: Silver Singles is also a mess.

Reported two profiles with fake photos…

Reported two profiles with fake photos on - that I had traced to scammer sites. One profile was removed and the other apparently wasn't a threat.

When one produces at least 2 links to photos on scammer reported sites what more can one do. I don't think one link is sufficient as it could be malicious but two plus - no way.

Safety to their members should be paramount!

Like the majority of recent reviews on…

Like the majority of recent reviews on here the new layout is terrible.
I cannot search, discover or see who is online.
I have sent numerous messages to them and even screenshots of my filters as they said that my were set wrongly but they made no comment about my screenshot.
I extended my mileage filter to 200 miles which covers millions of people and managed 2 people on line, ridiculous.
I was for a refund on my subscription as I was not able to view what I was promised.
Eventually they agreed they have a problem but could not say when it was going to be fixed (I have it in writing)
Obviously Match don’t care about review as they don’t contradict or give excuses for anything written on here all they want is your money.
I hope people read these reviews before they sign up and hopefully Match will go out of business.
