After placing a bet on Melbet and winning, I requested a withdrawal from my account. Usually, withdrawals from their platform hit my bank account in under 10 minutes, so when this one started taking hours, it immediately seemed strange.

It was already late, so I went to sleep. When I woke up, I saw an email from Melbet saying I needed to complete a “video verification” because my account had been flagged.
When I tried to log in to check what was going on, I was met with a message saying my account had been blocked.
Honestly, this feels very unfair. It’s like the moment someone wins and tries to withdraw their money, their account suddenly becomes an issue. Instead of processing the withdrawal, they block the account.

For context, I currently have over ₦200,000 in that Melbet account, and now it’s suspended without any clear explanation. Even if they decide to permanently close my account, the least they could do is allow me to withdraw the money that belongs to me.

Right now it just feels like my funds are being held for no good reason, and that’s not how a legitimate platform should treat its users.
To anyone thinking about joining Melbet, just be careful.

My experience so far has been really frustrating and disappointing. I honestly wish I had seen the many negative reviews before putting my money on their platform.

this issue started on March 5th, 2026. Since then, I’ve been in contact with Melbet support. They asked me to send a live photo of myself holding my valid government-issued ID for verification.

I’ve done that multiple times and sent the photos through email as requested.

Despite this, they keep replying with the same scripted response claiming that the text on the ID is not clearly visible. That doesn’t make sense because the image is perfectly clear the details on the ID can easily be seen.

At this point, it feels like they are just making excuses instead of resolving the issue. I have submitted every document they asked for, yet my account is still blocked and my funds remain inaccessible.
It’s extremely frustrating and makes the situation look very questionable.

Very Bad Experience – Funds Not Credited
I am writing this review to warn others about my current situation.
I have made three separate deposits, all successfully deducted from my bank account. However, none of these deposits have been credited to my Melbet account.
I immediately created support tickets for all three transactions and contacted customer service via email. I provided all requested documents, including official bank confirmation, transaction IDs, dates, and proof of payment.
Despite fully cooperating and sending every required document, nothing has been resolved. It has now been more than a week with no clear answer, no timeline, and no solution — only repeated requests to “wait.”
This is completely unacceptable. Deposits should not take over a week to process, especially when verified proof of payment has been provided.
Holding customers’ money without resolution damages trust and raises serious concerns about reliability.
I expect immediate action to credit my account or refund my money. Until then, I cannot recommend this platform to anyone.
I sincerely hope this issue is resolved quickly

Melbet is such a scam. My bets were winning based on the official box scores of the National Basketball Association (NBA). The over bets I placed should have won, but on their end they were marked as losses. They have their own reference for NBA stats. It feels like you’re not allowed to win two times in a row, or else something like this happens to you.

Their customer service is also useless. They don’t take any action and are completely worthless.

I contacted them and they said that the problem goes back to the security department. I contacted the security department and they did not respond for 3 days.

Customer service is Trash here, did email, chat support and called me.
Nothing resolve, giving me alibi's and delay resolution. Until now still did not receive anything from my deposit.

I got all the documents, proof, screen shots and screen recordings and this melbet site and app with there customer services are bunch of Scammers after they receive my money.

I am writing this review to share my frustrating experience with MELBET.
My Bet ID is 1550885353, and my withdrawal has been on hold for over a week due to repeated verification requests. Each time I submit the required document, I have to wait about 72 hours for a response, only to be asked for a different document. The process keeps repeating without resolution.
I provided my bank statement generated directly from the official app of PALMPAY, but it was rejected as “fake.” I was then asked to provide an electricity bill. In my area, we use prepaid meters, so I generated the bill from the official app of Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBEDC). This was also rejected as “not original.”
To further prove its authenticity, I even recorded a video showing the document being generated from the official platform, which was acknowledged by their team. Despite this, my withdrawal is still being withheld.
I have cooperated fully and submitted genuine documents from official sources. The long response intervals and repeated document requests have caused unnecessary stress and delay.
I hope this issue is resolved promptly and that the company improves its verification process to avoid putting other customers through similar frustration.

been trying to withdraw my winnings for days thru interac,they keep refusing the withrdawal and telling me to try again later, they reasoning keeps going round and round for days now, no answers they just keep telling you to try later or technical issue. its been days nothing happen, they just scamming people. avoid this betting site at all cost.

My account was blocked for Identity verification. I sent an email to the team on 27th January regarding that.

I was asked to provide my Identity card, picture holding same identity card and phone containing our email exchange, then a transaction history of my bank where I made deposits into my melbet account.

I provided everything requested for. Next the team said I should hold on for video verification before I can access my account.

This back and forth has been going on for 15 good days, that is half a month, I keep asking for either the video verification, access to my account or a refund of my money, but they keep saying I should wait, they will get back to me.

For 15 days you can reply my mail saying I should wait, but can’t allow me access to my account, am I had running games as at the timey account was restricted

They are scams who just want to take my money, and it is sad

My account ID is visibly up there if truly Melbet wants to resolve my issue.

How every two days ago they acknowledged my mail and documents which I provided still on trust pilot. Shame on you guys

Meanwhile, I have been communicating with the verification team and also copied the complaints team in the mail regarding this issue and was told by the verification team that I should wait between 90 days to 1 year for resolution is this issues.

This simply means you have scammed me of my money and do not plan to repay me

Don't use this scam app. I still haven't received the deposit i made on 21st of January. When I contacted support they just brushed it off by saying it’s “system error” there is nothing they can do. They didn't even refund. I am actually filing official report.

It has been over 14 days since Melbet withheld 500 USD from my account following a technical bug in their "Fast Keno" game. Despite their polite "PR" response here on Trustpilot, the reality is a total scam.

​Broken Promises: Their support explicitly promised a resolution within 24 hours. Once the deadline passed, they shamelessly claimed it was just an "expectation," not a promise. This is pure bad faith.
​Exhaustion Strategy: They are deliberately delaying the process, hoping that I will give up on my money.
