We got Mendip to design and build a 3x3 conservatory in our back garden and we are generally satisfied with it.

The treat we got from Kim, George and the rest of their team was really good. They do subcontract most of the building to different sort of builders (plumbers, electricians, installers, tilers, plasterers... etc) which some are better than others but Mendip has always been there when we had a problem with any of these.

Due to the pandemic, they also got some quality issues and delays with some of the materials to build the conservatory but Mendip was always there to rectify these.

It took a while and some headaches during the construction, but we would use Mendip again as after 6 months of use, the conservatory looks amazing, was build to high quality standards and at a fair price.

Excellent service from start to finish, friendly, helpful, trustworthy and very professional. Very pleased with the job they done. Would highly recommend them and I would definitely use them again.

Great experience having window and door provided and fitted. Explained what i needed and they did the rest. Great looking items and high spec fitting job. Even went out of his way to fit cat flap in our back door. Thanks guys.

I had a conservatory built with a10 year guarantee which was not honoured the plumber did not glue the waste pipes causing a bad leak completely damaging the floors of my kitchen and conservatory also walls called mendip and they said they would not repair and refused to honor the last 3 years of my gaurantee

From start to finish, professional job and a great cost. Office team were thorough with there assistance and help selecting potential options and finishes to new french doors. Kept in loop with lead times delivery and installation. Installation fitter was great, really paid attention to detail which makes a change from the usual get in and out as fast as can, even polishing windows , returning after he left as could still see a finger print from outside! Recommend to anyone.

Very pleased with my new A-rated glass PVC conservatory. A very professional and courteous service right from initial quotation (which was very reasonable) through to removal of existing conservatory and professional installation of first-rate, quality conservatory. Any questions I had were answered promptly, the garden was left tidy and the glass polished. The service was excellent. Cannot recommend Mendip Conservatories highly enough!

Last year we chose Mendip Conservatories to build our conservatory and this year they returned to install new windows in our house. Both times we've been really happy with their work - we liked the way the different teams dovetailed efficiently when our conservatory was built and we've loved the extra space it's given us. When we were considering getting new windows, we went straight to Mendip Conservatories without looking at any other companies and we're also really happy with the windows. Pete is a top rate installer and Kim a very personable, honest director. We recommend this company 100%.

Mendip Conservatories have just finished fitting our new conservatory and we've been so impressed with them. From the initial design meetings and quotation, the office staff have been nothing short of helpful and have answered all queries we had. The workmen that came out have done a fantastic job and made the whole process a lot more reassuring. We would definitely recommend this company and will go back should we ever get another conservatory in the future.

We had a few companies in and felt from the start that Mendip listened to our needs and tried to tailor a project to accommodate them. They were extremely informative and while neither the cheapest or most expensive, we felt confident in trusting them with our project. We couldn't be happier with the end result! All of the tradespeople were professional, courteous and tidy. They worked in all weather without complaint and the finished result is just as we imagined. The office team kept us in the loop and accommodated our own movements. Many thanks for an excellent job! PS. We may have to bill you for tea bags, not that this affected efficiency in any way!!!

We shopped around, but as we needed a custom build a lot of companies weren't interested. Mendip Conservatories were genuinely interested in doing the job in the best possible way and made helpful suggestions which improved the end product. During the build any issues were dealt with quickly and efficiently, nothing was too much trouble. Many thanks to Gary, Kim, George and Pete. Cannot recommend the team at Mendip highly enough. We had 16 sash windows replaced and from the first consultation to final fitting they were fantastic. Communication was great and the final look is exactly what we wanted.

We invited two companies to quote for our new orangery, one had replaced all the windows in our house and was well known to us and the other was Mendip. We were surprised to discover that Mendip were more competitive and we preferred their design and sales approach. Despite a demanding timescale and some bad weather, the orangery was delivered, installed and completed on time and on budget. The finished product exceeded our expectations and we would recommend Mendip without reservation.

Having spent a couple of years deliberating about changing our existing hardwood conservatory that was in excess of 30 years old, with the same again or PVCu we finally settled on a aluminium option and went to Mendips showroom in Congresbury as they were a local supplier of these. They had several options on display and after some very helpful advice we typically settled on a combination option from a different roof supplier and different window supplier - initially this wasn't an obvious available option but after checking this with Kim the owner he went off and made the appropriate calls to the two suppliers to check this out to see if it could be done. In a timely manner we had an answer that confirmed it was possible and we proceeded with placing our order. He knew that they had an installer that would be able to deal with any of out of ordinary scenarios that may arise and we were duly booked in. They completed a site survey and discussed all options and even accommodated a change in specification of the bi fold doors we had selected.
At all times from our initial showroom visit we were dealt with professionally, courteously and timely including paperwork, return calls/emails, through to removal of the old and erection of our new conservatory.
We now have a superb new aluminium conservatory that looks stunning that we are using more than we ever did and that we are proud to show off.
