Mendip stripped down our existing conservatory, which was of non-standard construction. This took a lot longer than expected.

An adjoining roof that the conservatory needed to be fixed to turned out to be rotten. Mendip arranged for builders at short notice to rebuild the roof, which further extended the build.

Through all this, Mendip communicated clearly what was going on, went out of their way to mitigate issues and honoured the original price.

The design, build and spec are great. We’re really pleased with the finished conservatory.

Mendip have come back promptly and addressed the couple of snagging issues we had quickly.

We wanted to build a large skyroom and en suite bedroom at the back of our house. We approached Mendip Conservatories as they were recommended to us by friends who were very satisfied with the work the company had previously carried out for them. We knew our project was going to be one of the biggest single projects to date to be undertaken by the Company and would include significant groundworks and garden restructuring on a sloping site with difficult access. From the very first meeting with Kim and George we were impressed with their approach. They are very nice people to deal with and we very quickly gained confidence in their ability to understand our requirements and to carry out the work. Once we decided to go ahead they efficiently dealt with the permitted planning application to the local authority and the arrangements for all the various trades people. The project took longer than originally expected mainly due to the cold and wet winter. We knew there were many technical and logistical issues to overcome and these were always resolved satisfactorily and with no conflict. We were totally confident that we would end up with a stunning extension. We are delighted with our wonderful new skyroom and bedroom and we would have no hesitation in recommending Mendip Conservatories.

We have recently had a conservatory and new windows fitted by Mendip Conservatory. We have been very pleased with the service we received. The work started on schedule and the work carried out efficiently. We would recommend this company to anyone.

The whole process from start to finish was first class. We enjoyed the collaborative and professional way in which Mendip looked at our needs, discussed alternatives in depth and developed a solution that was both innovative and practical. The project required careful management and all the tradesmen who came in to execute each phase were diligent, expert and considerate. We felt that Mendip really wanted us to be proud of their work and we are. I would strongly recommend them to anyone, especially if their project requires something bespoke. The product is outstanding and the price was also extremely competitive. As you can tell, we have been exceptionally pleased with the functionality and look of the outcome.

We have no hesitation in recommending Mendip Conservatories, they fitted two windows and a door for us recently. The main window was quite an undertaking, huge pane of glass on the second floor of a block of flats. The precision needed to get the glass up two flights of steps was outstanding. We are delighted with the results. Russell and Justin were excellent workers, efficient and polite. All in all a job very well done.

Although our project may have been considered a relatively small undertaking, we were very impressed as to the approach and expertise from all staff involved in getting the work completed. From the onset, we valued attention to detail, addressing all questions and concerns sensitively and expertly, The end result is nothing less than perfect and we wish to convey our thanks to all who made this possible.

Superb efficiency and practice and a superb end result. The chap with the beard was quick and precise and quite hot!

For our new conservatory - the whole process from initial enquiry, through design to the finished installation went very smoothly.

The various groups of installers were very efficient, friendly and tidy.

The couple of very minor snags were fixed very quickly.

We are very pleased with our new conservatory and would happily recommend Mendip Conservatories.

We had a Sky Room fitted with Mendip and being one of the newer models they approached the build in a very professional and transparent manner. There were circumstances that cropped up they had to find work arounds for and they did this with ease. We have since gone on to win an award for the Sky room and we are delighted with the finish and after care service received.

An Orangery so sweet ! This is exactly how my husband and I feel.
So sweet you want to move house and let Mendip build you another.
Kim and the guys are so professional and at the same time have great empathy with you as the customer you feel safe in their hands.
We spent a considerable amount of time going over the design and details with Mendip until we felt extremely comfortable.
Every part of the build from concrete floor , brick work double glazing and super low profile Sky Roof we had confidence in , quality of workmanship and a sympathetic ear when we questioned things.
Finally electrics finished off with esthetically pleasing downlighters.
Overall its so comfortable it seems an organic part of the original house (and by far the most solid and best looking part of our house)
We spend wonderful days in the sun and great evenings listening to music being comforted by the warmth of the under floor heating.

Rescued a poor job i had carried out by a cowboy. Cant thank you enough so happy with the final result and would recommend to anybody.

We are very happy with our conservatory that the Mendip guys built for us. The build has made fantastic use of the space!
Everyone on the Mendip team were great, especially Pete the installation guy.
We had a few problems during the build but each issue was resolved very quickly and to our satisfaction.
I've rated 4 stars because it would have been better to have had a smoother installation (although all issues resolved quickly), and I would have liked to have had a bit more consultation during design phase i.e. Agree detailed plans which would have avoided issues during installation and agree all construction materials to be used etc
Overall we're very happy with our conservatory and I would recommend using Mendip conservatories, just take the time early on to agree in detail the design and materials used to ensure a smoother installation.

I would really recommend Mendip Conservatories. Everyone I dealt with was friendly and honest without being patronising or condescending - my conservatory is not the largest in the world but all the work was done promptly, efficiently and to a very high standard. There was just one reservation - my details were passed on to a conservatory blinds and shutters company who were very persistent, and when I finally answered their call, they were patronising and cagey about prices. I would prefer to make my own decisions about such matters! Having said that I would still use Mendip Conservatories again given the choice,

Having had 3 quotes to replace an existing and very old conservatory we chose to go with Mendip. Our project was not straightforward as we wanted to use the existing foundations and walls which, as it turned out needed quite a bit of improvement! Mendip were not the cheapest of the companies we spoke with but they were certainly the most insightful and thought provoking and they stuck to their quoted price, even when it turned out that a little extra work was required to do the job properly!
They took a space which was an eyesore and unfit to use and transformed it, very quickly and professionally into a wonderful family space that is used and enjoyed all year round!
I would certainly recommend the grey frames - they look amazing!
From start to finish Kim and George and their team were a pleasure to work with, they communicated well and managed the project beautifully.

From our first trip to the showroom right through to the final phone calls the professional mannor, compitent staff and skilled workmen made the whole process fantastic.
Any time we had a problem or question someone answered the phone and helped. The teams that came out to work on the build were all great, polite and delt with the dog and baby brilliantly.
The finished product looks stunning, works perfectly in the space we had and the advice form the design team has truely paid off creating a practical addition to our home.
Well worth looking at this local firm over some of the bigger brands!

Mendip Conservatories replaced all the windows in our very old and quirky house. Despite some initial delays regarding the manufacture and delivery of the new windows once they arrived the fitting of them went extremely quickly and efficiently with minimum disruption. I highly recommend Mendip Conservatories to anyone wanting replace their old windows. The new windows have given our house a new lease of life.
