We had unfortunately used a conservatory company who had featured on 'dont get done get dom' BBC programme. We contacted Kim at Mendip and he and his team were excellent. Everything was put right to a very high standard and it was a breath of fresh air to have a team in who knew exactly what they were doing. Great communication, great service and a fantastic conservatory. We highly recommend Kim and his team.

This company really knows how to look after their customers. They are very customer focused and aim to meet your individual needs. We are extremely happy with the price we were quoted and the work they did was to a very high standard. You couldn't have met a more friendly, polite and extremely professional team. They turned up when they said they would and just got the job done! They really do deliver on their commitments. I would never go anywhere else! 100% recommended!

I could not of asked for a more professional and hard working team to have installed my conservatory and I would recommend Mendip Conservatory to anyone. All the team worked so hard to keep me informed of progress and deliver a very professional job, especially the builders and installer who had to work in some appalling weather conditions and still managed to keep everything neat and tidy, I am still amazed at their efforts.

Mendip built a conservatory/garden room onto our kitchen. We had the whole of one wall demolished to extend the kitchen into the conservatory. Mendip came up with imaginative solutions to our particular problems. They were efficient and flexible as well courteous and tidy. The quality of workmanship was first rate and the cost was most competitive. We are delighted with the end result which has not only opened up our kitchen, but transformed our living experience.

Really pleased we chose Mendip to source and install our orangery 3 years ago. Aftercare also excellent. Very happy. A beautiful addition to our home. From design to completion, Mendip personnel and contractors were friendly, punctual, polite and unobtrusive. They delivered a competitively priced high quality finished product. Would definitely recommend.

From the initial contact with Mendip, right through to the final installation, we were right to have every confidence in the trust we placed in them. The quality of the workmanship during installation was quite superb, and, while we wait for a few very minor snags to be fixed, we are already totally delighted with the result.

Mendip Conservatories and their tradesman overcame some real problems presented by a sulky old cottage seemingly unwilling to be tarted up with a substantial addition to its square footage.They have made a great job of it and done so with huge patience,sense of humour and a determination to do the right thing even if at their own expense.
The design together with the new windows and new entry is excellent and works really well especially when when friends visit. We now move the dining table there for dinner parties, quite magical with candlelight.

We have now enjoyed our Mendip Conservatory for several months now and we could not be more delighted with the final product. The quality of the materials used and the overall appearance is excellent.
After placing the initial order, the start of the build was delayed for several months due to the discovery of sewer pipes we were not aware of. Mendip went the extra mile in dealing with Wessex Water and helping us get the correct permissions for building over the pipes.
During the construction of the conservatory, all the various tradesmen used by Mendip were polite and helpful, very good at their particular trade, and most importantly always turned up on time. We were also very impressed with the way they always cleared up after themselves and left the site neat and tidy.
As already mentioned, we could not be more pleased with our conservatory, everything from start to finish was excellent.

I can not recommend Mendip Conservatories highly enough !! [Name] and his Staff took over our build because [Ext.Ref.] did such a shocking job that we had to pull all the building work down and start again.
[Name] took over the job at a cost to himself to give us our conservatory !! and i was so impressed with [Name] and his team of workers, What a great team he has they dont stop working and their work i could not fault.(and i am very pickie)
My build took under 3 weeks and that was to dismantle the old conservatory and totally rebuild the building from the footings up and what a job they did.
I would be prepared to recommend Mendip to anyone and if any one wants to see what a great job they do!! come and see mine.

We wanted to replace the old conservatory on the house we bought and got in contact with Mendip Conservatories. They gave us different designs to choose from at competitive prices. The whole job was completed in a couple of weeks and all the workmen were lovely with no issues. We are really happy with the conservatory and they even kindly sorted out a completely unrelated matter with my bathroom window

This is the second time we have used Mendip Conservatories.

We needed to have French doors installed to replace a bedroom window and asked Kim if this was a job they would undertake. We did not realise that Mendip don't just fit conservatories, they will also fit replacement windows - obvious when you think about it!

Once again, from start to finish the job was handled by friendly professional people from the guys in the site sales office, to Gary who listened to what we wanted and came up with constructive ideas regarding window/door sizing and whose quote was much better than I expected, and to Steve the surveyor who understood our requirements. Special mention must go to Geoff who carried out the installation - his attention to detail and care when working in our home was outstanding.

I believe the difference between Mendip and other larger companies offering similar products is the accessibility of Kim (the Managing Director) who is hands on and takes a personal interest in the project.

On the basis of our experience, we would 100% recommend Mendip Conservatories.

We wanted to wait awhile before reviewing this company. Our garden room was fitted in the summer of 2012 and without hesitation we can honestly say that the end product is sensationally good. We wanted to use the room year round so Kim recommended the appropriate glazing units - we needed extra long special glass - heated flooring and insulated support walls, all of which were beautifully and carefully fitted. There are so many superlatives we could use about Mendip Conservatories but they may sound hackneyed in a review, so we'll just say that the brilliance of this company comes down to one unique and special asset that makes all things possible, Kim, the owner of the company. He is without doubt a remarkable man for whom no request is too much trouble and who offers a superb product at a very fair price.
We are so delighted that we're about to contact him again for another project.

Really top job by Mendip Conservatories who were very attentive through the entire build process. Came up with an innovative plan for a sloping garden. Build quality very good and even though we had a couple of problems they were very quickly rectified. Would highly recommend!

We obtained several quotes for our Orangery and while 'Mendip' were not the dearest - they were neither the cheapest either. However where they stood 'head and shoulders' above their competitors was the detail and professionalism of their quote. Having been appointed for the work, our confidence was totally justified. Every aspect of the work was excellent, every commitment given by every one who worked on the project was met and in so many cases our expectations exceeded. Having had a long career in management posts I pride myself on only ever giving accurate references - I have no hesitation in giving 'Mendip' my highest recommendation.

My wife and myself wanted a back porch put on our bungalow . We contacted Mendip conservatories who soon came and listened to what we wanted . (Gary) The price was good , so we gave them the go ahead to do the job . The first thing that they arranged for us was the base . The two builders that did the base were 1st class , polite , clean and turned up on time . Mendip conservatories then came and fitted the porch , that was done to a high standard , despite a small hitch , Kim the boss was very helpfull and sorted out the problem very fast and professinal . All in all i would use this company again and would recomend them . 100% satisfied

I really wanted something that blended in with my house and not the sort of conservatory that seems just to be plonked on the back. Well, I got my wish - Gary designed just what I wanted and although there was a slight issue with the design of the roof, it was overcome and I feel for the better.
The builders, erectors and finishers were all of the finest quality - polite and professional - nothing was too much bother - there work was of the highest standard and their care at the end of each task was brilliant - spotlessly clean and within a few weeks of the grass recovering, you wouldn't have known they had been there! Except that I had a brilliant conservatory.
Unfortunately, the only drawback ( and I report this in a constructive manner) was the delay in the unit arriving! I had opted for green and the supplier (NOT Mendip Conservatories) were not truthful in the date for delivery. This annoyed Kim as much as myself and he did all he could to get things put right. Hopefully that has now been achieved and therefore I would highly recommend this company to anyone considering having a conservatory built.
A very fair price, high quality product and built by the best. What more could you want?!

hi my wife has always dreamed of living in a glass palace,well the closest i could get was a glass conservatory, i started getting prices to build one ,and for ideas i called in mendip conservatory's,the sales rep arrived his name was dan and with the aid of a computer designed her glass palace, i really was gobsmacked at the time and effort dan put into giving advice ,showing different designs,and explain the various types of glass even showing me the difference with demonstrations, (and all the time in my mind i am thinking i am going to build it because this is going to cost a fortune) eventually he gave me the price to build it from scratch , i was amazed ,i was really taken back, i was in shock,it was ALONG LONG way UNDER what i was expecting, i asked when it could be completed by as my son was getting married and the extra room would be nice he gave me a rough idea and much to my shock i said when can you start, i gave the deposit and work commenced,the builders arrived they were fantastic nothing was to much trouble, and clean it was amazing,the whole project was paid for when each section was done,if you were happy with the work,and i was.then the conservatory arrived with the installation guys,again the were professional and courteous,and clean and tidy,and the same went for each and every tradesman that arrived,the whole project was completed in approximately ten weeks from the time i said when can you start ,and it was ready to use for my sons wedding,brilliant,my advice to any one reading this ,don,t look any where else i recommend these guys , reasonably priced for a fantastic job,a++

All tradesmen were professional, courteous and did a very good job. They left the site clean and tidy. Everything that the salesman promised happened and we are extremely pleased with the outcome.
